There is no perfect character in this drama and that is what makes it really good. I've got a bit annoyed by the FL's crush on the SML (I just couldn't understand his appeal) but as soon as that was over, it was getting really good. The drama had a few flaws but it is deffo one of my favourite c-dramas of 2023 (as of March 2024). If you like historical romance with action and darkness and imperfect leads, this one is for you. I can deffo recommend this one.

"I thought the drama must be ongoing because I have finished episode 22 and ... that's it? In ep 20 I thought that the grand prix must be the finale but what in the non-existent ending is this? You can't even call it an open ending because it is not an ending at all. I liked the plot etc. but... this feels so unfinished. I can at least finish mentally with an open ending, but this caught me so off-guard that it doesn't feel like any closure... ". That was my comment on the drama's page and I stand with it. The leads were cute together and it could have been an 8.5/10 rating but the ending brought it down to a 7/10. I could have downrated it more but concerning the prior plot, I will leave it that.

Disney+. Seems like a cute but stressful (from the spoilers I have seen) drama.
