My fav BL's of 2023

I'm gonna say one word first: SANDRAY!

Yes, this show was so freaking good from the first episode to the last, it kept up the suspense, messiness and drama all show long!

I love these types of shows, where the characters are passed the age of 21. I'm so tired of school romances, so this was refreshing. The directors, writers and the other crew did a phenomenal job! Props to the actors who brought this to life.

My favorite character in the show was *drumroll* SAND! Of course. No, really, Sand was so fucking attractive to me, as a character. I felt like I just got him, like, I want to put him in my pocket and protect him from all the bad stuff. He just stole my heart man. 

My favorite couple was obviously SandRay, the way Sand just fell in love with Ray basically the first time he saw him was just... UGH! Poor Sand.. and Ray slowly but surely falling for Sand, the moment realised that Mew was just not the one, and he himself realised that Sand was there all along. Episode 10, the end scene where Khao acted his ass off, fuck that was good. I am not one to cry when I watch movies and series, but damn, I let a tear slip down my face. FirstKhao are just something else.

Weirdly enough, I actually really liked Top at the end of the show, which is so unlike me (Blablabla traumatic upbringing with divorce because of cheating Blablabla). Fuck off Top, but also, come join Sand in my pocket?

I had no idea that this was two members of a kpop group until I was half way through the show.

Anyways, I really liked this one. I loved how Tae Hyun was just the right amount of psychotic, it really elevated his character. Can we just talk about that beautiful shot in the opening scene? You know the one, the one on the bed, dayumn Taehyun looked like a snack.

Dayeol looked like snack in the last episode, I want a season two, maybe with a kiss? Just a little one? 

Like, I don't need kiss scenes in a drama, especially if they are dead fish kisses. I've watched too many BL's with awkward kisses that would have been better if the just replaced it with a good hug, or a high five (2gether is never living that down). Leave the kiss scenes to the professionals, but I feel like these two would do a good job, just a feeling. 

I think I screamed myself through this show, it was so cute and goofy. The chemistry between the leads was so good! The story was cute, but a little short, which is a curse in the korean BLs. Please give me longer episodes...

There was this one kiss scene, it was just this small peck in one of the last episodes, but fuck, I loved it so much! The unpredictable and surprising kisses are my favorite, and this couple didn't look like they wanted to puke when they kissed, which is a plus.

Amnesia series? Give it to me. I liked this one a good amount, enough to give it a 9.5 apparently. 

The main leads were cute, they had good chemistry and the story was refreshing. My only note on the show, is that it's too short.
