first few episodes i was like what the heck is this guy in love with his dad and by the end i'm like okay he has a girlfriend AND a crush on his dad

like there's nearly 3 months of my life where i surrendered an hour of my week to this show for no particular reason. and man, it was not that good but oh well, at least there was many cute dogs that I could go awwww i love dogs

this is such a "I watched it" show, it's totally fine and since it's a historical drama I am looking at my phone as there is meaningless drama between the state ministers or whatever, but oofa doofa Rowoon that kiss was not good

tbh, fuck yeah, there is totally weird plot holes and i don't know why that blue-eyed lady just would show up to give the leads an existential crisis but for whatever reason I was living for this Kdrama™️ while it was coming out, like at the end i was like aww i like this friend group

this show is, like, fine. but oh my god Song Kang learned to act, at points I even was like I kinda like this character. INSANE!!!! 

I was a nonbeliever, I too left comments asking why song kang is in so many dramas when he has about two facial expressions in his expression bag and I was right, actually. BUT it seems the man has taken acting lessons and attempted to improve his craft, good for him. he also really looked like a cockatiel throughout this show. hair stylist needed to chill out on the product, there would be shots where he was in frame but his hair was not and it made me lol everytime.

The ML is insane for rejecting the hot SFL who did sword dancing, like umm move tf over, i'm getting in there

particularly egregious for people waking up in full face makeup with hair lightly tosseled to make it seem like they were sleeping. and WHY does the ML wear so many incredibly blue baggy jeans with suit jackets!?
