Japanese Movies I watched - from best to worst

 A little backstory on my first encounter with with the Japanese Movies and why they are so special to me:

Back in the day my first encounter with the Asian drama/movie world were Studio Ghibli movies, I love them since I was a child and whenever I'm sad or depressed I'm watching them. In 2016 I saw my favorite movie until today for the very first time "Our little Sister". Since then I watched this movie plenty of times. I don't know why but still movie is so special for me, maybe because I'm an only child haha but this movie opened my love for Japanese Movies really, back then I had no Netflix or proper internet to watch movies online so I had to wait for them to be released on DVD. It was an adventure and and so many weren't even translated which was so sad lol

Now thankfully it's so much easier to get access to them, many are on Netflix, Viki and other streaming sites and a lot I do find on youtube.

I don't know what it is about Japanese movies and why I love them so much, I guess a big part is the cinematography which I think is beyond beautiful in most of them. Sure sometimes they have a really weird story but that doesn't stop me from watching them. They never cease to amaze me.

As for 2022 I plan to watch far more movies and to keep track whiche ones I watched I decided to make that list, I will sort them by best to worst and movies I watched before 2022 are also included in this list. I have a separated list with all movies I watched in 2022.
