Coming from the webtoon, I had a very specific picture of this drama in my head. But since the drama is different than the webtoon (that is still running) I wasn't caught off guard or something. I loved some of the new aspects they gave to the characters, like Sujin's OCD or Jugyeong's sisters crush on the teacher; but there were also things that caught me off guard, and made me quiver since it's not close to the original.

But overall I was very pleased and happy with "True Beauty". I loved the actors a lot! Moon Gayoung proved to me once again, that she is a fantastic actor. I like her so much! And Cha Eunwoo held my heart in a chokehold for most of the time, haha.

Since I am a big fan of Park Seo Joon I wanted to watch this drama for the longest time, not really knowing what it was about. I haven't watched a drama like this in a long time and Seo Joon being the male lead definitely drew me in the most.

At the beginning I thought I'd like Jo Yi Seo and Oh Soo Ah but throughout the show I started disliking these two characters the most. Even with a full grown Jang Dae Hee in the picture. Sure, I'm glad both Soo Ah and Yi Seo got their happy ending, but it was the first time I disliked the female lead, oops.

I have to say, that I was impressed by Kim Dong Her. The first time I saw him was in "A-Teen" but he did a fantastic job in "Itaewon Class" and his character seemed the most interesting to me (next to Park Sae Ro Yi and Ma Hyun Yi).

I wanted to watch a web drama in a long time and somehow stumbled upon this masterpiece by PLAYLIST. At first I was a bit meh about this whole storyline but as the drama continued I started having more and more fun.

The characters are definitely lovable, especially Hangyeol and Jiwoo. At first I never thought I'd be able to like Jiwoo but as she and her character grew and developed I definitely fell for her.Hangyeol was just a masterpiece of a character and especially in the last episode you could see how much he grew in that loop.

The OST of this drama is top tier and I really, really enjoyed it a lot. PLAYLIST never disappoints with their web dramas. I loved the fact that they had marathon episodes with four to five episodes crammed into one video, very helpful if you want to make a drama marathon, haha.

Before watching this drama, I read the webtoon and to be really honest with y'all... the webtoon was crazy. Webtoon-Mirae didn't have a lot of confidence and I loved how Drama-Mirae portrayed the same.

For those of you, who read the webtoon you know that it has a very "interesting" art style. I liked it, but ngl the cast for this Drama was PERFECT! I loved how the actors portrayed each character and I especially loved Cha Run Woo as Do Kyeong Seok. I didn't know uri cute Eunwoo could act as cold as Kyeong Seok, lol.

I overall enjoyed this drama a lot and I am very happy with how close it is to the webtoon. Props to the cast and directing team. It was truly a pleasant watch. I don't know if I would rewatch it very often, so I'm taking a few points of for that.

As someone who loves whales and dolphins as equally as Woo Young Woo, this drama really made me emotional in the smallest details—like the fact that there were whale sounds and whales everywhere?! Plus points for the details.

The drama itself was lovely and I think the portraying of the autism-spectrum was alright. Likedidn't feel forced in my opinion. But as someone who doesn't suffer from that spectrum I can't give my full opinion on it.

Woo Young Woo was a lovely lead. She is smart and Kim Eun Bin did such a good job portraying her! I love Woo Young's relationships with the other lawyers as well and even antagonist TaeSu Mi didn't feel like that classical uber-villain-y antagonist.

I really, really liked this drama and it definitely lands on my "to rewatch" list.
