did y'all try to gatekeep this drama or do I live under a rock and missed the hype over it? bcs I'm actually mad that I watched this seven months after its release. I really did not expect more than maybe a cute high school drama — which it absolutely is  — but when I tell you this had me awake until four in the morning bcs I just could not stop watching. this has everything that would usually make me cringe into the abyss but the mc is so good together that it's simply adorable and honestly insulting to all the single people watching ( ﾉ ﾟｰﾟ)ﾉ. • °

enemies to lovers. height difference. university setting. sounds like a great recipe for a sweet delight? because it is. south korea served us a  good one with this. bon appétit, my friends.

boy, I wasn't ready for this one. the experience of watching this felt very personal. it's more on the quiet side but the emotions running through it are so deep and several scenes had me holding my breath from their intensity. the style is very different from your usual korean drama, it's giving artistic indie vibes with stunning camera work and odd editing choices. for those who know and love SKAM, you will also love this one.

this drama had me in stitches and made me punch the air. it's adorable and funny and wholesome. one of japan's best (✿◕‿◕✿)

if I had three free wishes one of them honestly would be for this drama to be longer.  the concept is so cute and the leads are really sweet together, I would love to see more of them T^T♥

what would happen if all the characters in a show had to share 1 brain cell?  et voilà, here is the chaotic mess that is 2gether where one character is more ridiculous than the next one. season 2 is much better than season 1 imo so be sure to check that one out as well!

so very underrated. their chemistry is one of the best in the whole drama world. taiwan just knows how to do it.

and they were roommates. celebrity sunshine actor meets introverted grumpy chef who just so happens to stay at the same apartment as him — a very endearing story with great actors and a second season that will hurt in all the right ways.

sequel: To My Star Season 2: Our Untold Stories

I believe in UWMA supremacy. get them tissues ready because you will need them. but no worries, also be prepared to laugh a lot and keep a pillow on hand to squeal into because this drama will take you on one hell of a ride.

side story: Between Us

settle down and get yourself a hot drink with something sweet while watching this, it's gonna be a treat! ⚝

special: Old Fashion Cupcake Epilogue: Apple Pie

a breath of fresh air.  super cute ✿

this drama truly is a source of comfort. a beautiful depiction of how loneliness can be cured if you meet the right people at the right time and how they can change your life for the better ♥

special: Bokura no Shokutaku Spin Off - Bokura no Kyujitsu

just two introverts falling in love and it's an awkward disaster. love it ♥

this is not just a simple bl drama. it covers very important topics and the acting is impeccable. I urge everyone to watch this, seriously please do!

very heartwarming and atmospheric. I recommend watching this in the evening for winding down. HeartLiming stole the show for me and are the best couple in bl history, fight me (ง'̀-'́)ง

beauty is in simplicity. will make you feel nostalgic for a summer of your youth.

an absolute rollercoaster of emotions. a beautiful coming-of-age story.

special:  Last Twilight in Phuket

sequel: I Promised You the Moon

a wonderful seaside romance, the calm summer vibes and cinematography were impeccable and the characters were absolutely lovely (´｡• ᵕ •｡`) ♡ 

a classic in the bl drama world. it's a yearly tradition for me to rewatch this. the second season is great as well and their story in our skyy is probably one of the best sequels to a series I have seen.

quite a different take on the amnesia trope. but don't let this be the reason to keep you from watching this because it's really good. stunning cinematography. I recommend this for a rainy day inside.

looking for a good plotline? well, this drama doesn't have one. cuteness is all you're getting (•ω•)

you may leave logic at the door going into this drama. will it make you question the actual laws of this world? yes. will you enjoy the enemies-to-lovers slash grumpy-sunshine romance between a police officer and a gang leader? hell yes. 

if you're looking for something more meaningful and engaging, this one is for you. it's about the struggles of adapting to new challenges in life, the ups and downs, and the hope and pain they bring with it. my fridays after this show has ended haven't been the same ♡

the airport scene. that's it. that's all I'm going to say. if you want to know what I'm talking about.. well, I guess you will have to watch the show (〜￣▽￣)〜

sneaking this movie in here because I would love for more people to know about it. a soothing story about two souls who support one another as they try to allow themselves to heal from their pasts.

autumn vibes. beautiful OST. two soft bois falling in love. a light-hearted drama if you are in need of a pick-me-up (❁´◡`❁)

this drama had no business being as hilarious and adorable as it was, I was grinning like an idiot throughout every episode ヾ(^▽^*)))

the plot was there but I'm not gonna lie to you the execution was a bit of a mess. still I find myself coming back to this drama now and then to rewatch, there is something about the cinematography with the perfectly chosen OST and the chemistry of the main couple that just hits differently ✦
