Japanese BL Dramas

I think this is the most healthy BL relationship that I have seen so far.  This series is all sweetness, magic, and love. True love. 

People may not like it as much as I do because of the lack of kisses. However, I think this series does not need to have a lot of kiss scenes to have a great plot. 

I was reading the manga while watching this when it was still airing, and I loved all the similaries they had. The drama didn't go too far from its original work and I loved it. The main couple is SO cute. All the actors did a great job. Good chemistry and AMAZING Ost. 

The concept is really good. Imagine meeting the love of your life because you were just being yourself. Imagine walking on a white line painted on the street and casually meeting someone who is doing the same, who thinks like you, who makes you realize that you're not the only one. The chemistry is really good, and YUKI IS SO CUTEEE.  

At first, I kind of had mixed feelings about this drama but in the end, it ended up being one of my favorite Japanese BLs. One guy looks like a stalker and the other one is like a total jerk, but they aren't.  One is a big introvert and the other one a tsundere who are just in love with each other. The chemistry here is really good and even though the characters may seem irritable at times, it's a really good watch. 

Sadly, I watched the movie, which is a continuation of this drama, first. However, I think I enjoyed the drama more because of it so, I don't regret it. The drama wasn't anything surprising, but I found it very interesting. It's kind of slow-born despite being short. 

This drama is actually pretty good. It focuses more on comedy than romance though. It's a good BL to watch and just have some fun while killing time. Nothing serious. 

A good watch if you just want to watch something cute and simple.

This one is just pretty good. It's sweet and gives good vibes. It's a good drama if you just want to watch a light BL. 

This drama doesn't really have a specific plot but they are so cute. It's like just two boys who like each other starting a relationship and just dealing with it.

A world where all boys are gay and find their true love the most cliché way possible lol. Just, our main character is the exception. Is he? 

Don’t take this drama seriously and just enjoy. It’s pretty fun at times but don’t except too much. 

I watched this because a friend recommended it to me, but I ended up liking it more than expected. You feel like your life sucks and a nice man comes, making it all better.  

I watched this while airing and had me excited waiting for the new episode every week. The premise is good and they develop it very well. The relationship between the main leads is great: there is trust and everything. But it made me sad - so sad. 

Please watch Mood Indigo before watching this. This is the continuation. A lot of NC scenes, not surprising coming from Japan. If you like BLs with hot scenes, this one is good for you.

I'm a sucker for age gaps in dramas. I wasn't sure about this one because here the age gap is pretty big. However, I actually enjoyed this one a lot. I would definitely rewatch it. If the fact that one of the main leads is a minor bothers you (at least for me, it did at the beginning), don't worry. Nothing really happens while he's a minor. The adult main lead is pretty aware of the other guy being a minor, so he establishes boundaries. 

This is good. It lacks a lot, but trust me. This is good as long as you don't take it seriously. Yes, there is some lack of communication, but I found myself looking forward to the next ep for some reason. I'm a sucker for cute guys, so maybe that's one of the reasons. 

Imagine - it's the end of the world, and you meet again your ex (the one you deep down know you're not over yet). The drama here is kind of heavy, and there are some NC scenes in case you like spicy BLs. This is not a colorful/sweet BL. It touches on some serious topics regarding death. 

This one is pretty interesting. It addresses a common topic in relationships that I haven't seen in BLs before (I won't say which topic since it may be a spoiler). The chemistry is good, and the actors are so handsome. It's a good drama, but it could have been better developed. 

This one is pretty good. I just got a little disappointed because I really liked season 1 and was expecting a lot from this season.

For some reason, I didn’t like the plot that much honestly. It’s a good BL though. Just don’t except too much.

It has a great beginning but lost me halfway through. An idol and a BL manga artist, never seen before so got me interested at the beginning. It’s good, but I think it’s too simple for the general plot. 

These two be going wild lol. They are adults though so theycan do whatever they want. Kind of a dark BL? Please don’twatch this if you are 16 yo or younger.
