Cute, adorable and sweet

The basic storyline reminds me of another series - Truth or Dare - where the brides got switched via the same method also. But that is about the similarity of these 2 series.

For this series, Wrong Carriage, Right Groom, apparently is a "remake" of the series of the same name that was aired in 2001. You can actually see it when you browse the Cast and Crew tab and click to view the dramas / movies the Empress of this series made - she also was in the cast of the 2001 series. The 2023 version - this very series - is very cute and adorable. It has a simple, short and sweet storyline that has a very nice happily ever after. So if you are looking for a nice simple short and sweet love story, this would a good one to watch.

The 2 lead couples are great together. One serious and no nonsense while the other pair is playful and cheeky. Both couples' chemistry together is quite good, wouldn't say rocket high good but they are compatible. The entire cast and crew did a great job on this series, especially the villain. I would have to agree with some of the reviews on how the villain of this series is so highly annoying. That just means he did a great job portraying his character. ^^ The music to this series is not really to my liking, but then again, could be because all of the songs are females with abit pitchy high voices. Therefore, for me, the OST of this series is just a mere OK. Wouldn't be something that I would spend time hunting down to keep.

Short Simple Sweet

Contrary to everyone who writes and complains such a cliche etc - basically majority of the series available these days are similar to another even from long long ago and not just recent series, so quit the complaining and whining about the similarities - I find that this series is actually nice, short and simple with some sweet and comedy moments. The first series I watched with both the Male (Wang ZiQi) and Female (Wang Yu Wen) Lead together as the Lead couple was the series "The Love You Give Me" (2023). And even from that series, I find that the 2 of them actually make quite a cute adorable couple. Happy to know and found an earlier series where both of them are the lead couple again.

For this series, the synopsis actually caught my interest. Found a few short clips of it in YouTube and decided to give it a try. I have no regrets checking out the series. Although the storyline has been quite "simplified", it is still watchable and enjoyable - unless you have set your own personal movie bar too high - and I think if you are just watching for a simple romance story, it would fit for a first watch. I find the Female Lead character cute, silly at times and even slow in realizing things (like as if there is none of us who fits that description in reality) and the Male Lead strong, no nonsense, and don't believe in anything "mushy", likely thanks to the upbringing of the mother from childhood. It is great to see how the Female Lead character brings back the meaning of life into that cold CEO ;)

The songs are alright, I love the song 因为相爱 by 都智文 the most. All in all, overall all the casts did a good job in bringing the series to life.

If you like the synopsis, watch it. If you like the series after watching, then rewatch. Reviews are nothing but personal opinions of various different individuals that might not even suit your own taste.

Prepare those tissues!

This review covers both parts of The Blue Whisper.

The show, in many sites are shown as 1 with a total of 42 episodes but it's separated into 2 parts, first part is 22 episodes and Part 2 is 20 episodes. The entire series is a recommendation, if you love fairies, immortals, mythical beasts etc. The story line is nice and amazing, alot of teary parts - hence the reminder to prepare your tissues. Throughout the whole series, both Part 1 and 2, there are alot of emotional moments that somehow feels like it could just rip you apart. There are also many funny moments to be found but alot of sad and betrayal moments.

The casts did a splendid job on this series, both the Male and Female Lead are superb. They really did a great job portraying their characters, especially the merman. The innocence along with all the other mix emotions from happiness, sadness, betrayal etc has been portrayed remarkably by Ren Jia Lun (Male lead). Dilraba also did a remarkable job - at times, you don´t even know if she really meant what she said or was it just a plot to get things done.

The soundtrack for both parts are quite nice. Although the beginning song for Part 2, in my opinion, was just too shrilly. I love the song that Ren Jia Lun sang - The merman song - but unfortunately couldn't really find that song with him singing it instead of the original singer.

I would recommend to watch, if you like the synopsis after reading it. Rewatching wise, well, that would really depend on individual opinions. But I have watched it more than twice already. xD

Sweet and adorable .... not to mention alot of yummy food! :D

This series is absolutely incredibly cute and awesome! Other than the food always making me extremely hungry, the story line is not bad - quite alright actually. And of course.. Zhao Lu Si did a wonderful performance (as usual) with her adorable cheeky and funny ways. Both the Male and Female Lead are quite good together, their chemistry is very nice and sweet to watch, the hesitance and unsureness of the Male Lead about his feelings for the Female lead is quite interesting to watch and very adorable seeing how he tries to protect her in his unsure way of expressing his feelings.

It is actually a nice short series, very light with humour and alot of yummy food to watch.... you probably can catch a few methods of how to cook some of the dishes. Makes me hungry watching sometimes :D

The songs are also nicely paired with the show. I really love some of the songs. Rewatch value, for me, definitely worth watching a couple more times.

Quite interesting and nice to watch

The story is actually quite different from the many series I always watch. It is quite refreshing to watch this series as it is different. The series is actually quite adorable and have many amusing scenes. Thankfully it is not a very long series (never did like long winded series). Both the male and female lead are actually quite adorable together. There are some gripping and "I so feel like smacking this person" scenes but they aren't that dramatic. I feel that the entire cast of this series really did a great job making this series. Although it may not be to the liking of some viewers, if you want to watch something different and light, you can opt to try watching this. Rewatching, well, that really depends on the individual that watches this series and how they feel about the series personally. For me, I have watched it twice. The songs are also quite nicely paired with the series.

Absolutely love it!

This series has absolutely so much humor and cheekiness in it. Couldn´t stopped laughing even from the 1st episode itself! But then again, series with Zhao Lusi is always nice and refreshing without that much of stressy drama. A time travelling series, this is indeed a very interesting series to watch - with alot of funny moments, slight romance and definitely no extreme stressy drama - and I would definitely recommend it. Spanning 2 seasons, it has remarkable storyline, awesome paired music and the entire cast definitely did an awesome job with this series. The male lead is especially good, without his always expressionless facial features.
