A Miracle Happens

Episode one tells how the six childhood friends from High&Low The Worst have been doing after the movie's events and shows their heart-warming reunion. This episode was mostly feel-good and nostalgic. Seiji and the aunties from the supermarket cracked me up. It is only in the end that tragedy struck. I am looking forward to seeing what happens next.

A Great Ending

Tsukasa finally reunited with his cru– best friend, and they fight in the rain as a ballad plays in the background. "Shut up and fight me" seems to be the new way to say "I love you," and do not tell me that "Fujio, I will be waiting for you. You can come back any time" accompanied by that fond look is not romance. The ending sets the stage for High&Low The Worst.

Episode Five of Tsukasa Pining after Fujio

The parallel between Tsukasa and Fujio from this series and Sarizawa and Tokio from Crows Zero is clear. "I wonder how the view is from the top." "I want to see that view with you." This lines will sound familiar to those who have watched Crows Zero."A man who stands around and says "I'll become number two" or a man who becomes number two after striving to be the best but ultimately failing. Even an idiot would know which is better." Murayama won me over again with this quote.Jamuo also shone in this episode. His character demonstrates that leadership is indeed not only about fists.

Everything about This Series is Great

The toughest and most violent guy's not being able to handle a cute girl who has a crush on him was hilarious.Fujio and Grandpa's story continues to be the most touching. "A frog in the well does not know how big the ocean is, but it knows how blue the sky is. Fujio, you know how blue and deep the sky is. I am not worried about anything."

The Tension is Building Up

This episode introduced villains and a group of good guys fighting against them. The situation in Oya High is getting more chaotic. Tsukasa is the most intriguing character.

The Fun Continues

This series has me glued to the screen. Every character is likeable and interesting in his own right. Fujio's conversations with his grandpa are interesting to listen to. Murayama and Tsukasa are irresistibly charming.

A Great Start

There was not one dull moment in episode one. This series is serving action, plot, and visuals. As a newcomer to this franchize, I also appreciated the summary of past events that the beginning of this episode provided.

A Hilarious, Fast-paced Start

Wow! I hollered my way through this episode. It has the best humor that I have seen in a BL series, and the comedy element does not feel forced. The dialogue is priceless. The actors are also doing a great job. What I did not like is Jake Hsu's performance, which seems a little too much at times. Maybe this is what his character should be like, though. Tang Yi and Meng Shao Fei's dynamic is so much fun.

The ending makes no sense

To return to their own universe, the two people who are each other's portkeys were supposed to dream of a location and go to that location. How come Puen returned, but Talay did not? Similarly, Tess and Pakorn seem to be each other's portkeys. How did only Pakorn return? I hope that this will be explained in the subsequent episodes because it does not make sense. Otherwise, aside from the last part, in which the plot development happened, episode ten presented the usual combination of fluff and product placements. I skipped a lot of scenes. The second couple's playful dynamic was interesting to watch, though. Jimmy and Sea's romantic scenes were sweet, but they again failed to handle emotional moments well. Nanon, on the other hand, was brilliant despite having only several minutes of screentime.

Plotless Product Placement Fest

Why have a plot when you can have a sequence of advertisements? This must have been the production team's thinking process when they created this episode, and I am not having it. I approached this series with an open mind, although I knew about the criticism that it is getting from viewers. I decided to forget about the tragically underdeveloped alternate-universe storyline and focused on the sweet college romance. Now that I have seen episode seven, though, I understand where the disappointed viewers are coming from. I also felt insulted. Not only is the plot still not progressing even a little, but also the lack of such is substituted by dragging scenes of unfunny comedy and unnecessary drama in a desperate attempt to keep the viewers invested. What I liked most about this series – the wholesome relationship of Talay and Puen – was destroyed in the most clichéd way possible. Furthermore, several things, especially the time skip of one year, make no sense. So frustrating. The only good thing about this episode was, as usual, the beautiful cinematography.

Wholesome, Touching, and Thought-provoking

I thought that this episode would make me drop this series. The cinematography again delighted me, and Talay and Puen's interactions are a joy to watch – I do not remember if I have ever seen a more wholesome relationship on screen. However, the story is not progressing. Although some scenes are breathtakingly beautiful, others drag to an annoying extent or serve no purpose. The dialogue about love that Talay had with Tess's friends was a string of clichés. The product placement was more obvious than in the previous episodes. The last fifteen minutes of episode six made me fall in love with this series all over again, though. The direct but tender way in which the story explored life and death, fear of death, grief, and personal loss touched me deeply. Talay and Puen's conversation with Dol and their dialogue in the final scene are so thought-provoking and hopeful. Kudos to the scriptwriters. Beautiful. Even if you feel like skipping almost every scene, do not skip these last fifteen minutes,

Wholesome

This episode was so heart-warming. Some scenes dragged, and actor Puen's not knowing what a tagline in a movie script is did not make sense, but overall watching it was a pleasant experience. The product placement is not as glaring as I feared that it would be. I am impressed by how healthy the dynamic between the two leads is. I forgot the specific instances, but I was surprised by their dialogue several times because instead of the cliché replies that I was expecting came kind, mature replies. Talay and Puen are the definition of a wholesome friendship, and so are Tun's friends. As of now, I do not think that the alternate-universe subplot is handled as badly as some viewers claim. Nevertheless, I wish that the production team had gone for a simple body swap instead of sending the characters to a different universe. This way the storyline would have been less complex, and more viewers would have embraced this series for what it is: a wholesome college romance.

Still hilarious and interesting

I enjoyed this episode no less than the first one. I am delighted to see Jimmy's acting improve. There are many viewers who are criticizing him, and I also do not think that he is brilliant, but compared to Bad Buddy, he is way more charismatic and comfortable in this series. Kudos to him and Sea. They are so funny together.

More engaging than I expected

I decided to give this series a chance despite the many negative comments. Maybe it is because I started watching with no expectations, but it surprised me pleasantly. The production quality is great, and I really like the story for now. I usually do not buy the humor in BL series because it seems cheap to me, but this episode made me laugh many times. Well done.
