You might need to draw diagrams for this one....

I have to admit, I love to see Ohm acting and having dialogue. I seem to see him being the strong, silent type too much. And he and Fluke....I hope they like each other, as much as they are paired together. Their chemistry isn't off-the-charts or anything, but it is there. So I don't mind watching them.

This drama though...I had to turn my brain upside down to keep up with the parallel worlds and space-time continuum. There were a few times that I had to stop the drama and draw diagrams in my head to keep up. I finally just gave up and accepted whatever the script said. The only other problem I had was the awful inserted kiss sounds....like, couldn't they have just taped a mic to their cheeks on the unfilmed side for the real kisses?? I was embarrassed for the whole show when I heard those dubbed kisses.

Other than that, it was ok. I enjoyed hearing the songs, and I kinda love Ohm's sultry, sexy looks. The support cast did a pretty good job (some of them did a REALLY good job), although if I'd heard Aun whine one more time I might have actually dropped the show. Or a bottle on his head. Whichever.

I did not watch both endings. I will have to go back and see the other ending. If you don't know, there is an ep. 11.1 and an ep 11.2 version. I can't even tell you which one I watched, as I didn't understand that at the end of ep 10, they were telling us to pick one. But I think it's cool that they did that. 'Choose your own adventure' is always fun.

If you haven't watched this but want to give it a go, I'd suggest not trying to keep up with which Dew is which, and which Mum is which, and the past vs. future events. Just trust that they are who they say they are, didn't go to the wrong universe, and understood what each had already experienced. Because they left a HUGE plot hole with that last traveler....

My suggestion is just enjoy the show. Don't try to understand it.

Impressive acting, good series

This review is going to contain only mild spoilers. I'll try to keep it more of a synopsis rather than a retelling of the story.

This series follows a group of friends as they navigate childhood, school, friendships, loves, and losses. I am totally in love with their friendship as a group, because they are so close and never leave anyone behind. But also, most of them aren't so dependent on each other that they can't make new friends or make their own way in the world. The one who is totally dependent is Name, because of his trauma-induced disability, but Em is so patient and kind with Name, which has both good and bad results prior to Name deciding to take steps to help himself. Champ has his own dependencies to navigate and distances himself from others , stunting his own emotional growth temporarily.

Gun and Naknan have their own stories as well. Gun hides behind letters, texts, and emails, and watches his his pen-pal from afar until they finally meet. Even then, his fear of rejection causes him to keep his identity secret, but this prevents his relationship with Golf from moving forward. Naknan, on the other hand, pushes his newfound love to accept that he accepts her, even though she isn't a part of his playboy lifestyle.

The stories told in this series are good. They are slices of life, love, and family. The series has a tendency to drag in some places, but the acting is phenomenal from everyone in the series. I usually have a problem with the "adults" in a drama like this. They are usually seasoned actors, so you would think that they wouldn't be the problem, but I have found that they, for whatever reason, have the most stilted lines/acting. But in this series, the mains, the parents/adults, and the kids were all really good, and I appreciate that.

Quick rant: I have to agree with every other comment that the wigs are distracting. It is obvious that Mean was wearing a wig (and if 'we' are wrong about that, and they actually colored and styled his hair that way?? OMG horrible!). I'm not sure if Ja's hair was real or not, but it's the same style he used in 'Until We Meet Again' so, although I think it looked much more realistic than Mean's, it probably was a hairpiece as well, as it was never styled any differently than a messy ponytail. (Which, honestly, I kinda liked, but I'm all for man-buns and ponytails, so forgive me.)

I am disappointed that we never got to see Champ become involved in any type of relationship. There was a hint of a possible attraction at the end of the series, but I was really cheering for him to find someone. Champ's story, unfortunately, was part of the slower parts of the show, which does Title a discredit as an actor. He played his parts well, but there were too many instances where the audience gazed at Champ as he brooded or cried, when the writers could have used that time to create more story for him instead of leaving him disconnected from the world. I understand that that was the point...to show that he was disconnected and stuck in his head. But we got the point after the first 15 seconds or so of each of that type of scene, and it kind of made me want to shake him out of his depression and tell him to be more grateful. He was so busy working hard to live up to his grandpa's expectations that he didn't realize that his grandpa wasn't the source of those expectations, and he failed to understand his grandpa's message completely.

This was a good drama, and I'm glad to have watched it. I will admit that I had to drop it temporarily because the first few episodes were building background, and it was going too slow for me. But I'm glad I picked it up again. The friends and the families were all supportive and made this, all in all, a feel-good show, and I love to see happy endings. There is enough open-endedness for there to be another season, but I don't think that's going to happen, so we have to use our imaginations for that.

Comfort show

Can we have more Singto dancing in the bar please? 'Cause, dang!

Thoughts:
--I loved the way Weir teased Punn, causing the gay panic. I also love that Punn accepted him for who he was despite Weir's teasing.
--I liked Pooh's comedy relief, although I thought it was too over-the-top sometimes. For instance, I burst out laughing when he threw himself into the bedroom door to break it down....I can't imagine that the cast didn't fall in the floor laughing. But it just didn't fit the feel of the show.
--I loved that Krating finally made a move on Mone at the end, it was seriously sweet. I also think that it wasn't enough.
--I think that Singto did a fabulous job as Weir, but I didn't like the character's 180° turnaround. He lost a lot of spark when he was chef. I do like that he explained that he had other facets to his personality, as we all do, but a lot of the time it just seemed like he was playing a totally different character.
--I enjoyed the Pooh/Piglet storyline. I'm glad that the character got to say out loud that he fathered a child naturally. That gave dimension to Pooh's character.
--I think that Pluem's acting made Krating's character my favorite out of all of them.

As far as my ratings: Music....was there any?? LOL. I didn't even notice, so I am not including that in my final rating.

I'm glad I watched this, but......

I enjoyed the parts that I understood. There was so much "fill in the blank" situations that it made the movie hard for me to understand. For instance, why is Seo Joon so intent on keeping his friend's secret that it damages his own reputation? Why was the restaurant owner closing up the restaurant after all he went through to blackmail Seo Joon? Why was Seo Joon's manager acting like the CEO's sidekick, instead of sticking with Seo Joon?

The love story was sweet, if unrealistic. But then again, that's why we watch dramas.

I loved this

I'm pretty easy to please, but I don't know why people are hating on this drama. I enjoyed every minute of it. The only thing I had against it was that a couple of times it sounded like an ad for LGBTQ rights, but given Thailand's official position on the subject, I understand why it was included in the script, and I support their efforts.

I've enjoyed Zee's acting, but there were a few scenes where I'm pretty sure he wasn't acting. He could just be really good and get into his role, but you'll notice in some scenes that didn't involve crying that his nose still got red, and that is a natural response for him (as well as some people in general) when he is emotional. I'm not going to make assumptions on his feelings towards Nunew, as the fandom and shippers do enough of that. But for me, it added an air of realism to a drama I was already enjoying.

And, I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much from Nunew, so his acting and singing abilities really surprised me in a good way. I happen to love a drummer.....there wasn't enough of that.

Getting to see Boun and Prem was a bonus, because I truly enjoy their chemistry. They are one of my top fav couples.

Dropped

I hate to drop any series, but this one had such bad writing and production. If you want to put a band in a drama, it has to sound better than whatever it is that they did, unless it's purely for comedic effect. The characters, the storyline, the chemistry, the interaction between the actors/characters, and even some of the actions taken (you don't force a new band member on an established band and make them feel like they have no choice in the matter).....it all made me feel bad. I just felt icky after watching. And that's a shame, because it could have been so much better. Of what I saw, some of the acting was simply poor, but I am not blaming the actors. The director should not have accepted poor acting, that's why they do multiple takes, especially with new actors.

If I can come back to this series and complete it, I will update my review. However, at this moment, I just had to get away from it, because I don't watch dramas to feel bad. I think at least some of the actors have potential, so I will be looking to see them in something better.

Great actors couldn't save this one

The overall plot is fairly interesting, but the individual plot points fail in execution. Having a psychic power is great. Having that psychic power activate by touching someone's butt? That's elementary school humor at best. And there were so many other elements that should have been humorous, that just never made it there. I think that if the writers had left out the attempt at humor, it would have been so much better. As is, I cannot force myself to watch any more. I gave it a chance. I wanted it to get better. It just didn't, and I'm so disappointed.
