My name is Therese, but my friends call me Tessie.
I live in Sweden with my parents and my two cats, Yoshi and Gustav.

My biggest dream is to travel to Taiwan, because that place have always been in my heart in some way. I guess it's because that I thought it sounded exotic when it said "Made in Taiwan" on all products in Sweden when I was a kid.

The first Asian movie I saw was The Prince of Tennis back in 2006, I saw it with my cousin at her computer and I was mesmerized by it. My cousin said: "You like, huh? I knew it", but that was not the start of my obsession of Asian culture.

I saw another one in early 2007, a Korean one called "The Doll Master", I didn't like that movie at all.
Later that year, probably in July I found a Japanese band called "The Candy spooky Theater" and I thought it had a unique sound that I liked, and in August I found another band called "Matenrou Opera" that had beautiful songs that I loved.

I planned to see them live with "Versailles" (another band I started to like), but I had no one to go with, and my parents forbade me to go to the concert alone because they thought that I was too young.
So I didn't see Jasmine You from Versailles live before he died.
It still haunts me.

The music has lived on with me since then, but my obsession for Asian movies and dramas didn't come until the year of 2009 when I first heard that "Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac" was going to be a movie. I really liked the book so I was excited.

I couldn't watch the movie until august in 2010, and after that movie I watched Hana Kimi, Koizora, and many more and my obsession began.

My favorite Asian movie is from Hong Kong and is called "The Butterfly Lovers" from the year 2008. It's a beautiful movie that I fell for immediately, I love the story behind and even bought a book with that folklore.

My favorite dramas must be Autumn's Concerto (even though I wanted to scream at some parts) and Liar Game.

My favorite animes are NANA and Death Note.

My absolute favorite band is X Japan, I took the train with one of my best friends and her boyfriend to Germany from Sweden.
It took about 14 hours, totally worth it.
