Better than the webnovel in so many ways

Bailu's natural charm comes out when playing Shu Yi and Didi's Shi Yan is wonderful to see. It's a huge relief to see the story play out like it has even though I've read viewers upset over one thing or another.

I get that this story may not fit for everyone looking for more

I read the webnovel after learning Bailu and her bestie, Wang Hedi planned to be in the drama based on the book. So pleasantly surprised how much I enjoy it.

The difference btwn the novel and drama

In the novel, Shu Yi's main reason for pursuing Shi Yan was to get revenge on her ex whom she thought cheated on her with his niece; however, in the drama, that was not the main reason, but her ex approached her in epi 22 asking if that was the reason she was dating that "man" (she thinks he's referring to Shi Yan, while the ex is referring to some old married uncle.. that the "mistress" said she was seeing). Misunderstandings all around.
