I'm not ready...

... for this to be over. So many things already seemed to be resolved... only one episode left... *le sigh*

One of the Best Episodes of One of the Best Dramas

This is the quintessential coffee price episode that made it clearly one of my favorite K Dramas ever! I am re watching it now, and it is just as magical as the first time. The relationship between all four leads has reached it's maximum boiling point in episode 10. Eun Chan's secret is pretty much revealed to everyone except the one who matters most. Selfish Yoo Joo makes her decision (bye felicia!). Lee Sun Gyun melts my heart in his fated 2nd lead role. Gong Yoo reaches maximum crushability in the final moments. Like the male leads, I didn't know how much I loved this drama until this episode. The ending of the episode touched my heart more than any other romantic K Drama still.

a little less exciting but still...

I feel like this episode is a set up for future episodes (interfering parents, obsessed Ma Ri, heartbroken 2nd leads, did doc ever really love her...), but it didn't excite me as much as previous episodes have. I still love Gong Yoo, and he keeps things entertaining. I also love the chemistry, & flirty behavior, between Gyung Joon as Yoon Jae & Teacher Gil.

Ma Ri is really annoying, and has way too much screen time for my taste. "The Moon that Embraces the Sun" & "Queen In Hyun's Man" references were pretty funny though. I think that I only enjoy her in small doses.

Though the episode itself wasn't so exciting, the fact that the story has been pretty unpredictable has me excited to see what happens next. After the ending I almost don't want him to ever change back.

Kissing Cousins?

My favorite episode so far. i loved it from it's hilarious beginning to it's heartbreaking end : (

The cheesy moment when they basically fall into each others lips was awesome. It's so much fun to hate Se Hyun, and watch her antics backfire. I wish Jung Woo would be less passive, but he knows he has no chance to stand between the two people he cares so much about.

This episode was fun, and emotional, without taking itself to seriously. I can't wait until the next one : )

...and then there was the story

I like this drama a little more now that the story is being set up. I feel like I'm getting to know the characters, which I prefer over campy comedic scenes. I'm curious about what wil happen next but I'm still not excited about it.

heartbreaking!

I have stuck with this drama because So Ji Sub. I love watching him so much that I can forgive a lot of things about this drama.

Many of the emotional scenes in this are way too over the top to be effective. They just involve lots of screaming, "crazy eyes", angry tears, and staring off into space... BUT...

There is a scene in this episode, between Seon Woo & Cho in, that really touched me deeply. It didn't bring me to tears, but it didn't have to to be effective. It made an episode ending, that I predicted would happen at some point, actually feel exciting. This drama has been keeping up momentum nicely, and has avoided an "18th episode slump".

Only 2 episodes left...

crap, meet fan

This is the episode when everything reaches the boiling point. Just when I was about to get bored, I feel like now things are about to get really good.

I love So Ji Sub's intensity! If he wasn't the star, I would have dropped this one a long time ago.

That's how you end an episode.

It's driving me crazy that I have to wait for his reaction to her text!!! ugh! I love hating Sae-Na as she rips apart Bak Ha's happiness. Even her precious skittles are starting to turn against her. The emphasis has been more on romance than the mystery surrounding the death of the princess, but I love a romance done well.

Still bored, and annoyed

I was really hoping that this episode would bring back that "i can't wait for the next episode" feeling, but instead it was hard to sit through. This episode felt identical to the last episode, with a few more boring details about Gyung Joon's birth thrown in. The plot is dragging so much that the story is no longer interesting. The humor is stale. Ma Ri continues to test my patience/annoy, and the two older stalkers feel like such unnecessary story additions.

What I find most annoying is that the romance between the two main characters feels so stagnant. Watching Da Ran try to get a hold of her feelings should have been touching, but instead it felt silly. They need to kiss, or switch bodies quick instead of more time wasters like the making pandas scene.

The ending to this episode was a huge disappointment, and so anti-climactic. I expect so much better from the Hong Sisters. They owe a big debt to Gong Yoo for making this show watchable.

This episode is exactly why I am addicted...

This episode is sooooo good. Intense. Emotional. Hilarious. I believe this is the official start of the sh!t hitting the fan, and the ending is perfection! Rewatch value? 10. I just finished it, and I'm ready to watch it again!

corny love song for the win

i first have to say that i love the secondary love story, and as ridiculously corny as the "duet" between the princess & the guard was, i loved every moment of it! I love that their story is just as exciting as the main story.

Lee Seung Ki had some really great acting moments in this episode. Watching him react to being betrayed, and trying to contain his temper with creepy the clown from club m, i was really impressed.

Sometimes sweet/vulnerable Kim Hang Ah gets on my nerves. I loved the sweet moments she had with her mom in law, but I'd rather see her being bad@ss. That's why i can't wait till next weeks episode. Her expression at the end of the episode got me excited.

I also can't predict what will happen next, which is always a good thing.

umm... what?

I also had a hard time following who was who & why was what. I get the sense that there will be rivalries for the throne, and for love, but err... I could barely keep track of who everyone was. I thought the acting was good, and the story was interesting enough to get me excited about the next episode. I see elements of fantasy & prophecy which already makes this less boring than I expected it to be, but all the talking in codes & riddles can be a bit frustrating when you are trying to follow the story.

I'm sure it will make perfect sense in time... i hope...

So, it's a romance...

The earlier episodes were so all over the place that I wasn't sure if I was watching something that was mainly a political drama, a thriller, or a comedy... but this episode makes it clear that the emphasis is on romance. Sure, most of it has been done before, but I loved watching every moment of it. I loved the chemistry between Lee Jae Ha and Kim Hang Ah, and watching them one up each other. After watching them play games with, and deny their feelings for each other, the ending makes every frustrating moment worthwhile. I personal replayed the end 3x : )

too immature to be 33

Although I like the fact that the female lead is a 33 yr old virgin who writes smut for adult magazines, some of her actions are too childish to be believed. I guess this type of broad comedy isn't supposed to be realistic, but watching her let Cheol Soo believe that she is pregnant was annoying. The sister is also a major jerk, and I can already tell she will interfere, and be a seriously annoying problem in the future.

I'm waiting to see some great chemistry, but so far i'm unimpressed.

sooooooo boring!

I've been trying to watch this episode for months and I'm so bored I can never make it to the end. I don't get the references, and the jokes are super corny. This will get better, right? o.O
