I understand that there has been criticism regarding the amount of crying in the show, but personally, I found it to be perfectly appropriate for the storyline. It added depth and emotion to the characters' journey, and I believe it enhanced the overall viewing experience.
Admittedly, there were moments when the pace of the show felt a bit slow. However, the exceptionally well-executed episodes made up for it, and time seemed to fly by effortlessly. I do agree with others who felt that the final two episodes were somewhat unnecessary and didn't contribute much to the overall narrative.
One aspect that I particularly loved about this show was the cast. It was a delight to see familiar faces from the early days of the BL genre, bringing a sense of nostalgia and appreciation. As for the two leads, I simply cannot imagine any other actors portraying Cake and Sii-eiw. They did an outstanding job of bringing these characters to life, capturing their essence and making them truly believable.
In conclusion, despite the initial reservations I had due to negative reviews, I found this show to be a pleasant surprise. It may have had its slower moments, but the exceptional episodes and the brilliant performances by the cast made it a worthwhile watch.

However, as the story progressed, I couldn't help but feel a sense of disappointment. It seemed to fall into a monotonous pattern of repetitive breakdowns in communication, which ultimately hindered any real progress in their relationship. It felt like they were constantly running in circles, desperately trying to prevent themselves from getting together.

Now, let's talk about the significant changes that Oh and Teh underwent throughout the season. In my opinion, these changes were for the better, as it is only natural for individuals to evolve and grow as they transition from high school to the real world. The show beautifully captured this transformation, and I found it to be quite captivating.

The director, crew, cast, music, background, cinematography, and even the actors' minimalistic makeup all contribute to creating an incredibly realistic atmosphere. Every aspect of this series is executed flawlessly, without any unnecessary exaggerations or over-the-top elements. It is a perfect amalgamation of emotions, skillfully portrayed through beautiful and subtle movements and intense gazes.

Despite these criticisms, I still believe that the show had its merits.

What baffled me even more was the fact that this drama revolved around an arranged marriage, yet there was no actual marriage taking place. It felt like a major letdown, as the premise held potential for interesting developments. Unfortunately, the writing was so subpar that it failed to even reach the level of being "funny" bad. Instead, it was simply painful to watch. This was the first time I found myself fast-forwarding through parts of a drama, as I couldn't bear to endure the entirety of it.

Their relationship is far from perfect and often causes pain to those around them, but this is a realistic depiction of the messiness and complexity of love. The show doesn't shy away from this, yet still manages to highlight the beauty of their relationship. Overall, this series is a must-watch for anyone seeking a thought-provoking and distinctive romantic drama.

Each episode leaves me feeling a mix of joy and anxiety as I watch the back and forth between Ji Woo and Seo Joon. The character development is on point, and I find myself loving the series even more. If you were a fan of the first season, you won't be disappointed with this one.

The story itself is hyper-focused on the love between Princess Qi Pa and Kui Mu Lang / Li Xiong. While the historical setting, theme, and internal war conflict are present, they're really just there to build a story around the couple. This show isn't for those looking for elaborate political tactics, government affairs, character's historical background, plot twists, or ulterior motives. It's a lighthearted romp that's sure to leave you with a smile on your face.
