2 words: Epic disappointment.

And it started so good too! Lets get to the pros and cons-

It was an awesome idea to start with a cold blooded woman being melted by a cheery, wanna-be chef. I loved the way that the drama started the story line was moving and developing, different situations occurring, it was exciting! But the story got boring, very predictable, slow and the idea went to crap. Although the concept was Yoo Hee's transformation into a kinder more presentable lady, it happened within the first 6 episodes. This drama focused more on Yoo Hee's love triangles and her naivety in love than her being a tsundere character.I am so frustrated because I didn't like the ending, and I feel like it was a waste of time.

The music is really catchy throughout the drama and for the most part its really well placed. I didn't like Ga In, maybe her acting skills were developing because I loved her in Bad Man. I did like Jae Hee, but his characters seem to be the same in EVERY drama. (although I absolutely hated what happened with his girlfriend in this drama) Dennis Oh and Kim Jeong Hoong were awful, as far as acting goes. The cast didn't seem to have much chemistry, none of the characters really seemed in love with the exception of Jun Hye Bin. Hye Bin was believable!

All in all, you really have to fight through to the end because its boring. However you want to see the characters develop because it begins really charming, funny and cute. My advice start and watch till the 11th episode at that point you can skip to the end. Trust me you wont miss much.

I was really into this drama... at first.

Its a rich woman who is really anal( up tight and strict). She goes on many blind dates which always turn out to be a mess so she hires this poor guy as her personal love trainer. At first I loved the guy and how cheery innocent and nice he was. He is also a wonderful cook and has a hot girl friend.

Now here is the downfall. The characters just become total asses. I didn't mind how the girl changed as it wasn't too bad, but what I hated most and had to drop the drama was because I was raging the whole time after the main male mc just becomes a total dick. He starts cheating and treats his gf like trash no joke fcking hate him !!!!!!

I am so angry with this drama because it ruined my favorite type with a rich girl poor guy romance.

If you have the same taste as my I suggest watching
Snow queen and Take care of the young lady and couple or trouble rather than this sht

So... why do i write a review, when i havent seen the whole thing yet? I have to say the cruel true: cause i cant even finish it! Im gretting angry with every minute i watch.

Its kind of good in the beginning. I liked Yoo Hees character back then - she was pretty cool, funny, interesting. She had a spark in her. When did i start to NOT like her? After 3 episodes. Yeah baby, thats fast, right?

The problem is, that after she changed into lady, all her good sides started to fade away. From strong, interesting girl to boring, weak, STUPID, brainless idiot. Sorry, that im too harsh, but im so mad right now, that i cant control it.

But lets continue with the story - its still kind of good (a little) until eps 8 or 9. Until that part, it still has some charm and you can like it. But as the time past, you relize, that its getting worse and worse.

Side characters start to change from normal people to some crazy fellows who got addicted to the main guy/girl. Some stupid things start to happen and really stupid decissions. It just get sooo awkward, that you cant continue. At least, i can not O_o

So sorry to all fans of Yoo Hee. I dont understand your love for this stupid drama. I expected something good and got this crap?! Its like ALL the clichés of the K-drama world connected in this thing. UGH...

I dont want to stop you from watching this, cause it is just my opinion. There are manny people out there, who like it. I just want to warn you: dont have high expectations. You will get really dissapointed.

You know, I have two questions.

First: How in the world I ended to watch it?

Second one: Do any other people – like me, who watch dramas – wants to see something … deep, smart, with a second meaning, really good music, interesting plot and complicated characters? Or is it just me?

I’m not sure how it happened that I started to watch this drama. Lead role actress is poor IMHO. She’s too … stiff? Rigid? Tense? (I know that word but in my language, not English) Anyway, totally no expression, everytime the same face, stupid face. I didn’t like her till the end.
For example much better played role in this drama was (in my opinion) mean female friend of Yoo Hee from school, you know, that one dreaming about plastic surgery. I don’t remember her name, but the way she played her role (that face expression) was brilliant. I really hate her ;) She was really annoying.

And what the hell is with that music! All the time the same song, ost is horrible, really the worst ost I’ve ever heard. I know that modern version of classic music may be a great atmosphere maker, but not in such a cheap way. Totally disappointing.

Plot is really predictable. Terribly.

Characters are so cliché. Good poor boy, bad reach girl, reach mean “pretty” bad boy, stupid pretty girls, annoying girl in love, too much gentle nice guy, really mean father, pretty nice parents, really stupid employee and smarty kid.

Advantages: some of the cast like bad female friend, housekeeper, housekeeper’s family, secretary with her nail polish.

Disadvantages: main actress, songs, ost, plot, almost every character.

Don’t waste your time. Find another drama.

Wahhh...not that bad as i expected it to be :P so you should try watch it when bored - i recommend it ^__^

Even tough it`s not that special of a drama but still i feel like this is rather underrated.

So my opinion: Story - pretty good, interesting, funny & exciting, well i liked the idea of 3 guys liking 1 girl and i especially enjoyed when Johnny & Moo Ryong are together spying on Yoo Hee...really funny and the part where Moo Ryong lives with Yoo Hee. Ah... the cooking skills in the show where a great idea really captures ones attention.

Acting/cast - i liked the cast they fit their roles well as for the acting i think there should be some improvements here and there but it was`n bad. Between Moo Ryong & Yoo Hee there was definitely chemistry but not enough.

The Music - was exceptionally good 1 of the best points of the drama. For re-watching(i don`t usually re-watch dramas) - maybe :P

So Overall - i gave it a 9 since i didn`t got bored watching it and loved the story.

The 2nd best point in this drama where the earrings Yoo Hee(especially her) and the other girls where wearing(they where standing out xD) - i really loved them all xD

What a disappointment smh

Huge, major, EPIC DISAPPOINTMENT!

Started off sooo good and had major potential. What I really liked about this drama (at first), and what made it different than other romcom kdramas was that the main couple didn’t “get together” quickly. It happened in like ep 12 (or something like that). Usually by ep 8 the main couple will have kissed or acknowledged feelings or something, but it wasn’t the case here. I wasn’t frustrated as one might think. I became frustrated because main couple became toxic and I was no longer rooting for them. Also, character development was just thrown out the window. Characters’ actions didn’t match up with previous behavior patterns. AND there was no real conclusion. I’m very very very disappointed with this one, because it really could have been better smh.

The acting and actors didn’t bother me so much, pretty decent. I just didn’t care for the gf of the male lead’s brother.

Music was actually pretty good, it matched the feel of the drama and complemented the emotions one would feel.

I’LL NEVER REWATCH THIS DRAMA!

I really should have rated this drama a 6, but I gave it a 7. I wouldn’t recommend, no definitely not.

Witch Yoo Hee (2007) - the one that started it all. My highschool heart can’t get enough of this drama. This drama, based on my memory is probably the first drama that I watched constantly/as much as possible in tagalog dubbed version. I remember laughing and smiling while watching this, as well as butterflies. The second male lead is sooooo handsome, but I remember that I really root for the main lead here. Having fond memories of this when I was still about 14 or 15 years old, I watched it again when I was in college about 18 or 19 years old. Always have that smile on my face and the romance never faded. It’s one of the dramas that I have had a good time.

when i first watch it i was around 8 or 9 years old,Today i decided to watch it again n finished all episode in one day. Suprisingly i remember almost every scene in the drama even after 12 years. The cast pretty much potray the character well in my opinion. eventhough i understand now that MooRyoung are becoming a little bit of a jerk in the drama, however the actor potray his confusion well. Its pretty much clear how he was confused if he still in love with his gf or not. BUT i really dont like the ending pretty much bc they didnt gave any closure even after i knew her father and senior gave up at last.

thats it from me.i felt good watching this again bc its bring some nostalgic feeling for me.

It's a memorable drama but it has 2 big flaws:

1 This story was totally refreshing and great, everything was perfect but by the final chapters writers decided to just ruin it and do the same overused love triangle clichés to conclude it.

2 Main male lead performance was really weak.

As most dramas I have seen, it just felt down by the end, however I find this one to be very outsanding whatsoever. All the cast performed great, The lead female did a fantastic job and all the cast was great too.  The most memorable cast I have watched, and the most memorable female lead. One of the funniest I have watched too.

A must watch

Where do I even begin…? This drama has it all it’s funny, emotional and tear jerking in all the right places. We begin meeting Yoo Hee who seems uptight and mean at first glance and the main lead Moor Young who is a cheerful chef.

Romance

The chemistry between Yoo Hee and Moor young is so good but at times Yoo Hee has a stiff demeanour which may be off putting - but I guess this adds to her character of a witch to.

The second male lead is extremely toxic and off putting. Everytime he came on screen I wanted to rip my hair out, he is so selfish that towards the end of the drama you hate him. But he also plots with Yoo He’s dad and that just made me hate him. He also plots to keep yoon hee and kidnaps her, so there’s that toxicity there. It’s pretty sad after you see him going for her background, especially after Yoo Hee expresses how much she liked him.

The other male lead is Jonny, he is so cute and charismatic. I do wish him and Yoo Hee got together but as he says it’s better to be friends. His character is always there for everyone, and you become to love him so much by the end. His love scenes at the start with Yoo Hee are cute but you can definitely sense the one sidedness, which makes you feel bad for him.

Other parts to add

The second female lead is very jarring aka Moor youngs girlfriend. At first you sympathise with her but after moor young consistently tries to break up with her, she tries to continue the relationship. Similar to the second male lead she is toxic and tries to hold onto the ML with any little thing. But one thing she does well is showing desperation, I won’t lie seeing her scenes you can see the actress really evoking those emotions well. ( in particular the scene where moor young breaks up with her ?)

Character development

I would say most of the characters go through development BUT the second male lead seems to be transgressing. He begins somewhat likeable ( even it’s hard to say that) but atleast you hold onto the fact he’s Yoo Here’s first love. But even at the end you just don’t like him, only good thing he does is drive her to the airport which is in the last episode. If he could he would’ve probably made her write a contract in blood for the hospital.

What could be better?

I wish we found out more about the Yoo Hee’s mum since she is mentioned quite a bit but we are not told often about that. As well as Params origins we don’t get to much about him being related to them.

The ending could have been a bit better but considering how much problems the ML and FL went through you end up being happy they can even relax.

Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a laugh and a cry.

At first i just looking for Jae Hee drama, then i picked this out.

The story begin with a rich woman with awfull love story background meet with a cheerfull and lively man. Their relationship begin because of the men have debt, so he work for repaying his debt by being her housekeeper and love adviser.
The men, chae moo ryong, and the women, ma yoo hee, at first just a mutual relationship beside moo ryong was already have girl friend, Seung Mi. The story develop to a cheat and lie idea. I dont mind if from the first moo ryong and seung mi was not a lover. However, i really annoyed by yoo hee keep contacting even though she know that moo ryong is seung mi's man. Moo ryong at first help johny to be yoo hee lover, eh it turn out that he fall to his own trap.
I hate how moo ryong dump, lie and cheat. his 10 years girl friend (and dont know exactly how long they turn to be a lover). At first moo ryong promise to marry seung mi, but after meet yoo hee, he say "i cant marry you". We find it in reality too, cheat always begins with excuse then lie to another lie.
I was thought that the idea was about loyality, even there is a better woman in front of your eyes, as long as your heart taken you will still with your first choice and promise. But it totally wrong when how many times seung mi ask moo ryong to get out from that witch.
I really angry seeing how moo ryong and yoo hee laugh happily even they know there is somebody hurted by them many times.
Btw, the song was nice. I love the one with lyric you are my destiny.
I like Seung mi's acting. Perhaps she really explore the character. Johny also good
