Jang Woo and Eun Ji are orphaned siblings living in a small seaside town. They are very close, having only each other to rely on after their parents passed away. Jang Woo is saving up to move to the city so that his younger sister Eun Ji will have better opportunities once she graduates from high school. But one day Eun Ji suddenly disappears, and she turns up dead three days later, her body bruised all over and dumped in a large bucket of water at their washhouse. No witnesses and evidence to the crime can be found. Jang Woo turns to shamanism, but during the ritual to send Eun Ji's spirit to heaven in peace, he notices a suspicious man and takes the latter's behavior as Eun Ji's hint from the afterlife to find her killer.
Shi Eun has been ostracized by the townspeople for her mysterious psychic ability to foresee death. She received a premonition of the death of her only friend Eun Ji, but stayed silent. Now wracked with guilt, Shi Eun approaches Jang Woo to help him with the clues in her vision. She saw fragmented images related to the murder, but not the face of the killer. The duo begins tracking down a number of other murder cases suspected to have been done by the same person.

Two themes mixed up in one movie, the 'typical' killer chase and the girl who can foresee things.

Somehow it worked, but this mix up is something that you are going to like or dislike, no in between.
The story is well written and no questions are left out. I did miss some information about some people but I can live without it. Sometimes I did have a hard time with the 'shaman' part of this movie, but it gives a little twist. It also did a good job on the suspense and it has some thrilling and 'wtf' moments, I liked those!
What I found disappointing is that they gave the 'killer' away too soon i.m.o. I love movies where I have to guess until the end leaving some hints throughout the movie, but that wasn't found here. I think it could have lifted this movie to a higher level.
Note: this movie is quite bloody!
The cast did a splendid job, I felt with them and I was really convinced with their roles. It really had creepy feeling and the emotions that were acted were great. I could feel the despair that the main lead felt!
The music was dark and mysterious and it really made it creepy in some scenes.
I would re-watch this movie, not instantly but it was a very good watch, not a waste of your time!

Watch this if you like thrilling, suspenseful and mysterious movie with a 'killer chase' theme.
Skip this if you expect romance or can't take bloody scenes.

This is my first korean movie...I typically only watch kdramas but decided to make an exception because this looked really good.

Plot: The plot was pretty good. It was about jangwoo trying to catch his sister's killer. It was suspenseful at times...but honestly I've seen way more suspenseful movies and kdramas. But it did make me catch my breath and the ending really made me hold my breath in suspense.

Characters: I liked jangwoo, he was definitely the protective older brother...there just wasn't much more to his character than that. I guess I'm used to kdramas where they flesh out the character more. Being how this was a movie, and action movie at that, they didn't really have time to go deeper into his character. But they went deep enough and I really like how he was always protecting his younger sister and trying to give her the best life that he can. You can really see how much it weighs on him, the responsibility of being older brother but parent also. I liked shi eun...but there were times where I wanted to yell "tell him!!" or "tell her!!" But I also understand that most people laugh at her talent and shun her, and it would be difficult to get anyone to listen. The killer did good job of creepy and crazy. You could definitely tell he was not right in the head.

Acting: All the actors did superb. Joo won's crying scenes broke my heart, I nearly cried too (I never cry so this is a good thing). Shi eun definitely did a good job with the mysterious and sorta creepy at times tbh, lady. And the killer did a good job of being really creepy and having this crazy look about him.

Music: Was there any music..? Like there were a couple songs...but for the most part there were none. Which I found glaringly obvious. Anyway, nothing memorable for sure.

Clean: there was one sex was about 2 seconds and the lady took her skirt off. Same lady opens her skirt real wide so the guy can see her vagina, we don't see it though. There is a prostitue, but nothing is shown. Killer's stepmom is a slut but again nothing show. one guy has implied nudity. The F word is used at least 5 times, but usually is only used when the character is really angry. There's other language too, mostly the a word and s word. And there's lots of blood and violence.

Overall a good movie, but probably something I wouldn't rewatch. The ending sorta left me with a "what did I just watch?" feeling, which isn't my favorite feeling btw. There's some really good joowon scenes, and the relationship between him and his sister is touching. Would I recommend it? Meh, if you want to watch it great, if you don't I understand. Overall, I'd see it for yourself.

***edit*** I just saw Shoot My Heart and Long Way Home, and they tooootally could've fleshed out Joo Won's character more. This was just bad writing. Also, other Asian movies have I don't know why it was lacking in this one. Changed from 7 stars to 6 stars after seeing other Asian movies***edit***
