I'll be honest, I tried watching this drama while it was on air and after 6 episodes I've dropped it. I thought it wasn't good enough. But I WAS WRONG. After watching Princess Agents I've been craving for some romance and a happy ending. I've researched and this drama was the perfect remedy according to the comments under Princess Agents page. So I've tried to watch this again but decided to use a different approach, I started at Episode 25 and damn I was hooked. After finishing the series that was when I decided to watch from the first episode to the last and after watching for the 2nd time, I can't seem to get over it so I've watched it again the 3rd time :)

So if you are like me that wasn't impressed from the first few episodes I suggest you start around episode 23 and from there I believe you'll get hooked and would want to watch it all over again and again.

If you like cultivations, fantasy, deities and a fan of chinese novels then this is a perfect drama for you.

If you are not much into fantasy or isn't aware of cultivations from chinese novels then I guess this drama isn't for you or maybe you could give it a try if it's to your liking especially if you are into good romance.

Lastly, I have to mention this... The female actress portraying the main character was undeniably amazing! Her acting skills are superb! Now I'm really a big fan of hers.

This drama was one of the BEST that I had seen of Chinese drama. The best actors and actresses were famous from the films. All the scenery, graphic, costumes, support casts, etc., were well done.

I can watch this drama over and over again. It is as good as Star War movies.
The production was very expensive. I wished they would make sequel not the Internal Love of Dream.
I hope they will bring back all the cast members and have another continuation of these two great actor and actress team up again.

caution!! do not read my review if you don't like spoiler. I know that it's prohibited to write spoiler, but i love spoiler so much that i think i still have to write it here, especially for this amazing drama.

Once i finished this drama, i know that i wouldn't get another amazing drama like this for maybe next one year or two. This is like once in a year amazing drama, such a masterpiece!! The cast, the story it's just amazing.. I've only watched it subbed until ep 50 and ep 51-58 i have to watch it raw, but really i can't wait till it's sub and will just rewatch it. The chemistry between the main couple is so amazing. The scenery was breathtaking and the story is wonderful. I know it has so many episodes and that is the only reason for me to not rewatch this drama. But i've rewatched it a few times already (of course not the whole 1-58 episodes; but only a few scenes that i like) and that means this drama still have a high rewatch value.

This is a sad drama with a happy ending. It's sad yet beautiful. And the ost is just sad yet wonderful. Combine all the story, the cast, the song, the scenery, the chemistry... this drama become a complete beautiful package that i'll always remember. There is no other words to describe this drama other that amazing. I know i've written word 'amazing' for many times already, but that's just because it is a perfect one word to describe this drama. I can't wait to watch the movie.

So here's the quick story

1st lifetime:
Siyin and egg lotus
In this lifetime yehua (our male main lead) wasn't born yet and just in a form of lotus spirit. Siyin who is actually Baiqian go to kunlun mountain and disguise as a boy so that she can be a student of Moyuan. In the battle of ghost tribe and celestial tribe moyuan died and yehua born as the celestial crown prince

2nd lifetime:
Yehua and susu
70.000 years later Baiqian to reseal the ghost king become a mortal and forget who she was. It is the time when she first met Yehua and fell in love. They married in a mortal realm and have a son. Unfortunately, their happy life not go on for long as Sujin (yehua's consort) know about it and brought susu to celestial kingdom. In there, yehua had to pretend not to like susu so that susu can be saved. But Susu didn't realize about that and suffered so much. Because of that Susu left Yehua and their son.

3rd lifetime:
Yehua and Baiqian
in this lifetime Baiqian back to become Susu and chose to forget about her life as Susu. So she drank the potion from Zheyan to forget about that part of her life. She eventually forget, but Yehua wasn't. The first time they met, Yehua knew that She was his Susu. Although for a little while he doubted it, but eventually he was sure and never doubted again that Baiqian was Susu. So he pursued Baiqian. There was just so many sadness in his pursuit. We could see how much he love Baiqian but Baiqian just wouldn't realize it. Really, the chemistry was overflowing.

Thankfully after all that sadness, we have a truly happy ending. Not like another chinese drama. These days it's really hard to get a wonderful chinese drama (especially wuxia or xianxia) with a happy ending. And i really satisfied with this drama. Favourite!!

I personally do not like doing reviews but everyone has opinions and all are different. But, after watching this drama I wanted to leave some thoughts.

Let's start with the cast:

Mark Zhao as Mo Yuan/ Ye Hua. Mo Yuan was the undefeated God of War, who was Bai Qian's teacher. ...

Zhang Bing Bing as Li Jing. ...

Ken Chang as Zhe Yan. ...

Yu Meng Long as Bai Zhen. ...

Zhu Xu Dan as Xuan Nv. ...

Dilraba Dilmurat as Bai Feng Jiu. ...

Gao Wei Guang as Dong Hua. ...

Maggie Huang as Su Jin.

Brilliant set of actors and actresses. The chemistry from beginning to end was awesome.

The story line:

I want to read the novel now. The drama was so beautifully done that I got lost in each every episode.

The music:

There is nothing better when you have music that goes beautifully with the drama..

I know I not saying much because I do not want to spoil anything for anyone.

Overall I will watch this one again and again. Have a tissue box near you, you will need it.

This drama is so badass, it is my first time writing a review ever! I really have no time to watch this so I avoided until I couldn't sleep one night and decided to just watch the 1st episode...binged watched 2 days straight and even watched up to 44 without subs. Great actors, storyline, "evil/annoying" characters, side stories, this drama is epic. Talk about blown away - I definitely recommend this one hell of a drama

Where to start? After finishing the show, I'm suffering from withdrawal symptoms. Also, I'm a non-book reader.

Story/Plot: The flow of the story, in the beginning, was boring. But it was a necessary foundation to create character backgrounds. So don't give up on it. After maybe 6 episodes, everything started to kick in and heaps of anticipations followed. It didn't revolve around one main pairing but rather a lot of other love lines within the drama. Which was very nice and you obviously get the happy endings and the not-so-happy endings.
It's a fantasy drama. Beautiful CG, I lose track of the subtitles after staring at the beautiful scenes (Same director as love O2O btw). Magically. Lots of hand flicking. And clothes disappearing :winks:

Acting/Cast: So the description did say the love is throughout 3 lives so they had to act out different personalities. Yang Mi in my opinion, did extremely well portraying an innocent little fella, a pure-hearted mortal girl and a fierce, well-respected Goddess. Though some of her intimate scenes were awkward and forceful. Mark also portrayed different roles but their personalities were pretty similar so I couldn't see his different sides. But he's a hell of a good kisser ;) :winks:

Music: Songs were specifically written for the drama so you get the chance, read the translation. It's so relevant to the story and literally every time you listen, parts of the drama follow and you'll crave to rewatch the whole thing all over again.

Rewatch?: Heck yeah. But probably going to skip irrelevant stuff.

Overall: Mainland dramas are sometimes very annoying because they include a lot of unnecessary talking and fighting scenes. I skipped a lot but it didn't seem to affect my overall experience with the drama. I'm also annoyed at how they keep using the same female voice actor for most of their dramas. It somewhat hindered me from feeling the acting and emotions from the actors/actresses.

I've been waiting for this drama a long time ago. Firstly, I read this novel a few year ago and i would never imagined it would airing today ... It's like a dream coming true. This drama particularly is special, why ?
The cast is just amazing and beautiful. They are doing a very good job for now.
I think the viewers are most attracted to the story even if it was plagiarized which is regretful...
However the story is as well heartbreaking and sweet.
If somebody is currently in a slump then WATCH THIS DRAMA !
Just watch the trailer and it will convince you to watch this masterpiece.

This show is not bad. I dont think it is should have higher rating than Scarlet Heart which is a masterpiece. Eternal Love is probably the first Wuxia Fantasy I skipped watched all the way to the end. I cried heartily at their separation for over 2 episodes.

Love the costumes!!!! Love the hair styles and the makeup. Sceneries are not perfect but pretty good.

These immortals lived hundred thousand years but some of their antics are a little lame. Wish for a little bit more new interesting ideas in Wuxia world. Oh well, maybe in another decade. But also what can you expect from a "plagiarized" book.

Little disappointed that Yang Mi character who lived over 70,000+ years still wasn't stronger. She cried too too much at the end. I know that this gut wrenching love but still.... she is a queen with magical powers whose family let her get away with everything and yet... her life wasn't very much interesting. Other than those beautiful gowns....

Ye Hua is too hot. Yang Mi is so beautiful, love her acting. I cant get enough of her.

Amazing Storyline!!!

This is such a fantastic drama. A solid 10 for the plot. Yang Mi as the goddess Bai Qian, she just feels like a real goddess. Her beauty is so ethereal. When I first saw her in this drama I felt like she is similar to the Nuwa goddess in the journey to the west drama! Love the chemistry between Ye Hua and Bai Qian after they reunited as well, the way Ye Hua show his affection to Bai Qian is so touching he shows it through action instead of words. There is also the adorable A-Li. When the three of them, Ye Hua, Bai Qian and A-Li is together, their interaction of a family of three is so cute. Totally Recommended!!!

This is probably the only Chinese Drama that I could watch over and over again. The story is just so good, and you're taken on a roller coaster of emotions with the characters, their loves/betrayals (they feel so realistic). I thought the leads did a phenomenal job with regards to their chemistry *swoon*, and just made it so much fun to watch. Also, normally I find dubbing to be really distracting, but the voice actors did a great job in merging the voices to the emotions and situations of the characters. I also kinda enjoyed the story of the secondary leads which we'll be seeing in the sequel that'll hopefully be coming out soon, but I don't think it can compare to the story of the main leads.

The most epic and passionate romance that will steal your heart!

I watched this way back in 2017, so my review's long overdue...

If you're in the mood for an epic fantasy romance, look no further than "Ten Miles!" I consider it a masterpiece romance drama because of how well the main love story's executed: It's extraordinarily intoxicating! However, if you're not into romance, then I don't recommend it because at its heart, the drama's nothing more than a simple love story. But the way the writers/director adapted this simple story, by elevating its source material, is what makes this drama a masterpiece.

"Ten Miles" simply gave me my preferred epic romance (simple romance plot that was well-executed): Leads with explosive chemistry, a calm/mature FL (female lead), and a ML (male lead) who was powerful, hot, relentless when it came to chasing after the FL, and never committed noble idiocy (push her away for her own good, etc.). It gave me everything I wanted in a romance and executed it in a way where it's impossible to beat in my eyes.

The lead actor, Mark Chao's performance as Ye Hua (the ML) is too skilled/unforgettable. He's an expert at eye expressions: To this day, I have yet to see another actor capable of emoting so much passion while portraying an icy cold character. Not only that, he also portrayed my favorite type of ML in a romance. What can I say, I'm a complete sucker for the obsessive/possessive MLs who will never let the FL go and won't ever push her away for any reason (fatal illness/injury, bankruptcy, etc. -nothing keeps him away) lol. And Ye Hua fits that to a "T!"

Romance Minor SPOILERS...

The ML, Ye Hua, can give up anything/sacrifice anything for the FL and chases after her like a bloodhound -he basically deceived her into marrying him by not disclosing anything about himself (his biggest fault is his tendency to keep everything to himself and shoulder all burdens). He tries to shield her from everything, but when all hell broke lose, he tries to protect her using the wrong method and it cost him.

What's even more attractive is how arrogant and cold he was before he met the FL -nothing and nobody can affect him. He's never loved anyone (there's a lady who stayed by his side since they were little and is obsessively in love with him, but he's extremely cold to her) and finds that emotion to be a nuisance. His 3rd uncle even said that though he's seen as "perfect" (crown prince status, extremely powerful and handsome) in everyone else's eyes, he's incomplete in his because he lacks emotion/affection.

Well, that all changes when he meets our FL: She's the only one who can melt him and make him go crazy. Seriously, this ML won't be able to live without his beloved FL. When he thought he lost her, he gave up on life and almost died. He also cries a lot because of her -I just want to hug him (love his manly tears). He also sees through all female machinations and is never fooled by "other women's" tactics. The drama's so good at making us see everything from the perspective of both leads, unlike the book which just focuses on the FL's side. I could totally feel the ML's desperate love and pain...swoon!!!

Overall, "Ten Miles..." is still the best romance I've ever watched and nothing beats it!
