This drama had too many uncalled-for side stories that bore the hell out of you! But I kept up with them.. I hated that many characters did a wrong and then they, themselves, felt wronged and blamed others.. I mean, EXCUSE YOU! They skipped through time a lot, and it too many twist that weren't really necessary.
HOWEVER! it was one of those dramas that made your heart flutter, and how I wish there weren't those 'butterfly-moments' because I really wanted to give it a lower rating.
When I finished this drama I thought "I wish I had a man just like Kang Jin.. Caring, loving and selfless" I really liked his character, specially, his relationship with his mother.
In conclusion,Some parts were too good, some parts were too boring. I'm not sure which overlapped which, to be honest.
Again, unless you're a patient person, DON'T COME ANYWHERE NEAR THIS DRAMA!

It have made me cry a bucket but it was all worth it. Having seen the show made my sense of Kdrama more diverse, since I tend to choose rom-com to genres like this. My heart is just weak like that, but this show made my threshold on tears much stronger… or so I thought until I saw Cinderella’s sister and 49 days. Heh.
This drama would always be dear in my heart because of the story line. It may sound unbelievable or ridiculous or even annoying for some because everything was such a mess. The main character’s past was so jumbled up that the future became dim for them. You would tend to watch and wait and watch some more, thinking, when would it ever stop?
Until one day, things would just fall into their proper places.
The ending wasn’t that satisfying for me but the whole journey of the drama was worth it. Once again, I got my mother crying out of this drama and she had to point her fingers at me "again" for doing so. I so love my mom when she does that but still continue on watching anyway.
Acting wise was superb, so maybe that’s what got me hooked after seeing the first episode.

Story: This is a story that follows a pair of lovers since childhood, their personal struggles and the dilemma of those around them. True to the spirit of melodrama, you should expect bucket loads of tears for this one. Should I even bother to elaborate? Nope. Watch it and find out yourself. It can be rather draggy in the middle (and normally this is the part where I doze off on the coach!) but it picks up in the last 2 episodes towards an acceptable ending. Suffice to say, there is nothing exceptional about the storyline. If I must put my money into it, I'll bet on the cast.
Acting/Cast: This is one good example of how you do not need to have superstars to make a good drama. The stars just aligned for this one where the cast is concerned. Great acting from everyone. Great chemisty between the leads, and if I am honest with myself, I'll admit that it is the good acting that make me want to re-watch this drama again and again.
Music: Mediocre to say the least. Good sleep therapy material.
Rewatch value: A keeper for those long, cold winter nights.
Overall: Watch it if you have the patience and stamina for a good melodrama. Otherwise, skip it and go for comedy.

The storyline is not unique. What some do not like is the ending. However, you know the ending long before you get there. There are several referrals to what their fate will be. So, the ending is not surprising or ambiguous. Yes, I think many of the sweet romantic scenes are at the beginning of Episode 11 before all the pain. But I think the story beginning and ending are all memorable, as is the music.
What make this drama so wonderful is the gorgeous couple. Their acting makes you believe in their unforgettable love. Yes, I've already rewatched it.

I think is badly the music is not better but we can't have every thing
I'm happy I wotch it and I recommend it even if it's a little not recent

I got sometimes the distinct impression that the writer had a big problem with women and was trying to expel his hate for women writing down this awful scenes.
I would say the beginning it's a MUST watch, and keep note of the actor that where interpreting the teenagers, cause they're gonna do good things.

CANNOT BE FROM THE START ( 처음부터 안됀거야 )
Let's talk about what I admired about this drama, It is the vibe that this drama , it feels nostalgic which is one of the reasons why I watched this , I am so in love with the music and the vibe of each scenario's that this drama has , I feel like I am watching the kdramas that I have known from the time when I was starting to love Korean Drama's it was like this ! not too modern , no too much effects , I just like the feeling, and the the next is that I watched this because I like Go Soo , and I am amazed to see his younger face ! and as I watch this drama I fell in love with the female lead also , I like her character and I like her face, Everyone acted great in this drama , from Ms. Cha to the Chaebol Woman of BumSeo is it ? every character was so great ! and Tae Joon he was so charming too !The Story was I must say it is too much to be real , In some ways the director or the writer of this drama was good in twisting situations , coz how come that they came up with this kind of plot ? it keeps go round and round and round. The Love Story of Ji Hwan and Kang Joon was a sad story and a love story that cannot be from the start, if we would really understand it, the problem started with their parents and they were getting affected by it , and the additional problem was they blame themselves for every bad situation, they made their lives hard for themselves , The Chaebol woman was right , Kang Joon have a brains of a bird to live like that, how come that he thought he makes things difficult for JI Hwan , and also JI Hwan have the same brains with him, it was right that the necklace was the reason of the death of her brother but it was not her fault that her brother died ! and how come that Her mother disowns her after knowing it ! where she also was her child , what kind of mother was that ?
and Also Ji Hwans Father was such an evil jerk ! if I was living with them that time I would've said it is right for him to have a disease and die, coz he keeps on confusing the Ms, Cha when he already have a family, and it seems like he knows the past of the mothers of Kang JIn and Ji Hwan !, my head is aching watching them like this ! AND For the last time , I was really shocked and angry about when Ji Hwans mother became was the crazy ? thinking that Kang Jin was her dead Son? is there even a disease like that ? it was horrible ! and the fool Kang Jin even go through with it acting like he was the son ! and not touching JI Hwan ! everyone here was crazy like the mother of JI Hwan . If I were Ji Hwan I would rather choose Tae Joon, he looks more decent and he is not related to anything about the family back ground so even if they marry no one will be affected and they can live their own lives .. Love really makes one fool'er and a fool. We do not have any idea what really happened in the past of the main lead's parents here , it just happened that they were affected by it , I suppose they should have shown even a bit of it , maybe the plot twist was that to make the drama longer for 16 episode because nothing was really happening anymore during episodes 12 on wards but people are getting crazy .. I love the woman with Madam Cha .. She literally represents me watching them going crazy about their love life and lives. The ending was not satisfying, we do not really know whether the two leads finally ended up together , but the character development in someways was satisfying specially the chaebol woman and Tae Joon and the mother of JI Hwan .. but the leads are still crazy fool . All in all it was still a good watch for me , I became more patient watching this show , I am proud of myself that I am able to finish this absurd love story HAHAH .. I will miss Ji Hwan and Kang Jin in some ways .. well did it really snowed in Christmas ? was there even a Christmas at the whole drama ? but it did really snowed ! .. too bad The leads here could've just ran away and have each other .. that's all I can say
