Decent option but.....

This series will always be that comfort series for anyone who needs a break from series with overwhelming plot and twists. This drama is something I enjoy even if it's not really taking off or climbing up my ranks. Well at least this one is decent than Gen Y.

I understood now how producers ruined the main leads in Gen Y particularly Pha and Wayo. The cheesy romance was there and the chemistry. You know what, I enjoyed MingKit more than the two I've mentioned earlier. Kimmon really did that. His face exudes cuteness overload and quirkiness. I adore his presence so much ugghffgh. Literally he's an eye candy. Tee is damn eye candy too, cuteness overload too!! Love their romance with Copter over God and Bas. Ngl I found God and Bas's portrayal a bit bland that's why Kimmon and Copter are the stars of the show. Moving forward, I enjoy how uncomplicated the story was.

Ok so here we are in my negative side territory. I never demanded anything surprising but the series really did a trope that I fkin hate: hateful biatches! These bitches always gossip and stalk Pha, being flirtatious which is really dragging. As they get on the screen, my blood is boiling like hell! I disliked that trope so much. They just exist to make Yo jealous and to make my blood boil, that's it. Not surprised by enemy to lover type of shit, I can live with that. Another con is Tae's portrayal of Forth is awful. Tae looked lifeless everytime he's on the scene. It felt tiring to see him there just having this poker face like man do something. It felt that casting him as Forth is a bad choice bcuz I never really felt his presence even if it's him and Bas in one frame. Moreover, ForthBeam never really developed even in its few last eps. Another silly con is that scene when Pha got out of car in front of the condo then he escorted Yo to the pharmacy walking. I mean, yow you have that car and it's raining, why don't u just drive him there. It's like grabbing a ladder to display and not use it.

So, to conclude it all, it's an okay series. Didn't quite understand the hype I'm hearing about this. But for what it is, I pretty enjoyed it.

2 moons S1

Ok I want to say that this is my first ever bl watched series and I am very new to this world ! I mean to say a new member in the bl fandom ! And now talking about the series,so that's how bl worlds are ! Simply free, everyone loves you and no discrimination which I saw in this series I know it will sound to you guys lame but for me as I said that I am new in this bl world so ! Ok now talking about the series the story was good simple! But the two leads are average at acting and the story also goes slow at the middle point I loved the last episode and I also want to say that from all of them I really really like Ming? ! Poor him that kit is not giving him much attention but thats ok ! I really loved him(Ming)in this series! He acted also so well ! Overall for me it was average ! And I am extremely excited to see what comes next in this fandom !

So it was a totally freezing shower after being smothered by naked male bodies writhing like worms in various positions from the series Dante's Cove, I sat down to this. Cold physically, but warm mentally.

The creators probably searched all over Thailand for a long time before they found such a perfect representative of the main character Way, that perhaps they couldn't even find a greater innocence and purity. Many times I felt not like I was in college, but in eighth grade, but that's also why young Asians just look so "young" (or maybe mentally?).

The series is written completely decently, as if it should have been shown a hundred years ago, but that is actually its strength. Nice music.

the nursery school of our beloved BL

2 moons shows that it is from 2017 and the intention of making a good series with many extras and BL couples that complement the main one. and it is in the main one where the big flaw is, because more than attraction there is a tension of discomfort between its protagonists and of course zero chemistry between them. this series opened the doors to wonderful ears that are already part of our BL universe like Tae and. the music of chapter 11 with its choreography 1 2 3 4 I love you is already a benchmark for BL. the aesthetics can be seen in the ancient bestiary and decorations, for example on the stage of the Moons. but it has that charm of bringing us closer to our already beloved Thai BL actors that we admire so much. aside is the matter that came after controversies and casting change in season 2 and more moves that are known. this series is like going to the nursery school of our beloved BL: bass, Copter, Boun in ep 11… and of course Tae&Tee !!!

This was the first BL story I ever watched and it was the first Thailand drama I have ever watched and this series is also the whole reason I started watching other BL Thailand dramas. Wayo and Phana have such a cute back and forth relationship but for me, the couple I was rooting for was Ming and Kit. This whole series was light, cute, and just a fun easy going drama to watch. Plus God, the actor for Phana and Kim, the actor for Ming are pretty cute.

Sadly I need to write 200 characters so... Hi

This is very a cute, slow and polite story.

I really appreciated the friendship in this series. It is really important and different from some other BL series.
Friends are the core of this drama and we all love it.

The actors are very good and all very handsome. The main characters are adorable and lovable. I just wish we could see more emotions from them. It was somehow "surprised Pikachu face" in a nutshell. There was not really visible character development but somehow i managed to finish this series in one sitting and still enjoyed it.

So, I can say, I am a little bit confused about it, needles to say the characters were too.

The music was an issue for me. Perhaps it was just the audio quality, however it was annoying.

Overall, I do recommend this to everyone who likes adorableness and cuteness overload.

Cute and adorable

Wayo gets into the same university as his high school crush, Phana, who I assume is a second year university student. At first Phana does not recognize him because Wayo looks a bit different, especially without his glasses. It's a cute story of two high school crushes reunited again at the same university they attend.

Wayo is chosen to represent his faculty to compete in the Moon and Star competition. Guys = Moon and Girls = Star. Phana was last year's Moon. So, the story follows Wayo's journey throughout the competition and how he handles being around Phana and vice versa. I really felt the actors fit the part of Wayo and Phana. Wayo is supposed to be have this cute, dopey, adorable look while Phana has a more older brother look about him.

Side characters they focus on include Wayo's friend Ming and Phana's friend Kit.

God is really charming as Pha. I enjoyed his "unattainability" - it was very believable. Also when he finally gets together with Yo, his smitten-ness is adorable. Having watched both series I think I definitely preferred God's Pha. (More thoughts on this in 2M2)

I didn't know SBFIVE was a thing. I saw the 5 of them in Hotel Stars and really liked Kim and Copter. So I looked up other works they were in.

Kim is charming as Ming. I really liked Ming as a character - he is probably my favorite character in this show. I like Kim's charming but obtuse and always happy-go-lucky!Ming. I totally would have fallen for him too. It's so interesting to me that Kim is actually so much older than Copter, when Ming is actual a year younger than Kit. It's an interesting note, but Kim plays the kid so convincingly. I really like Kim. I think he has great potential, but having watched fan videos, it seems like Ming and Kim are very similar personalities.

Kit is probably my second favorite character in this show. Copter as Kit was also really cute. Ming/Kit is the reason to watch this show in my opinion.

Having watched 2 moons 2, it's really hard for me to pick which Ming/Kit I liked better. They were both very different, and they both have their own charms. I really enjoyed both KimCop and J9's portrayals of these characters.

Tee as Beam - Tee is really cute. He's not the best actor, or the best looking in the bunch, but he's interesting. I loved his one liners and punch-lines. I know they didn't really have a very big role for Beam in this season but I think Tee was adorable as Beam.

Tae as Forth - Tae was very rugged but soft as Forth. I quite liked his characterization of Forth, but I think after having watched 2Moons2, I might like badboy!Forth a little more. Tae's portrayal of Forth was very clean. It may have been the script though.... IDK. HOWEVER, it must be said in that scene where Yo comes out of the bathroom in just a towel and Forth & Pha's eyes pop out of their heads.... 2 Moons definitely did it better.

I don't know why they changed the cast. I wish they hadn't, but at the same time, the entertainment industry politics is BAZONKERS. It is drama AF. I don't HATE the changes, but the production and script were not as good for 2M2 as they were for 2M. And I've read that apparently Godt/his management no longer wanted (him) to do BL roles, which fair enough, it's his life and career, he has the right to make those decisions if he isn't bound by a contract.

Anyhow. I'm still looking forward to 2M3, and the drama that will come with that.

First of all, I cannot emphasize how fucking cute these characters are in this series, it's like they want you to melt on the floor and then evaporate, rain down and start the cycle all over again.

Okay so, story ; no spoiling, so it might be vague but, it's about how these new college freshmen and their respected faculties have cherry picked the most perfect, and representable students from their group to compete in the battle of moons.
( both girls and boys compete for their own title).

So development of characters and how it plays along with the main idea which is winning the battle of the moons.

~ pha is a dream Boat. clearly all you need to know is that he at first is a stuck up, typical handsome and fandom able person whom everyone loves and he's pretty smooth with those who he keeps a relationship with, some of his qualities change over time ;).
~ Yo. O . M. G. The definition of Kawaii literally. The sweetest, kinda awkward, but brave and he sticks up for himself and what he believes in, sometimes swayed by love.. Ooooh getting emotional writing this.
~ everyone else, basically supporting characters are either cute or annoying like phas friends and or his gf. But some of them I loved seeing on screen and playing roles in the greater scheme of things

Overall : my heart my eyes and soul were blessed period .

My sole reason for watching this drama was so that I could compare it to its recent reboot, 2 Moons 2. And yeah, in that regard I found 2M really lacking.

Most of the actors felt so very flat but I could’ve taken that if at least the story was interesting. Spoiler: It wasn’t. To be perfectly honest, around mid-series, I started skipping the PhaYo scenes and I stuck around for one reason and one reason only: MingKit. Ming & Kit, their story, and especially Kit were the saving grace of this drama. They certainly gave me a different vibe than their reboot counterparts and that made it interesting enough for me to keep going.

To sum it up: Behind the scenes BS aside, I’m very glad that the production company didn’t make S2 of this drama but rather rebooted the whole thing. It seems namely that they learned from their own mistakes and they made 2M2 much faster paced and much more dynamic. Also, they developed all three pairings and not just PhaYo with a side dish of MingKit.

This is my opinion

I watched this about 5 or 6 times so maybe you can considerate my pov. 2moons actually has a not so good story since I read the books too, but I love the way they made this series. I love the storyline which is slow and take a lot of time because it feels more realistic. I felt like this is what a person do when he want to approach his crush. Even though all the casts acted poorly but they got better and better. So far I’m satisfied by their cinematography, music, plot and all the casts is handsome and pretty. And for the books, I only love the first book because the rest is so dramatic and not realistic, that’s why I don’t really into season 2. I suggested you to read the first book to understand this series more. Btw, mingkit is one of my favorite. Sorry for my poor english, I tried
