I love this so much, honestly, i think this is better than any other western bl story that i've watched cuz it is really really really really cute and kinda funny, and Phana is really cool tho (ARGH). Just from watching this series, i can't even get the story out of my own mind for several days (lol)

The ost match the series very much. “Just to Be the Last Person Whom You Think Of" (Kae Dai Bpen Kon Soot Tai Tee Tur Kit Teung)” by Pause (FYI)
.
.
.
SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME THAT THERE WILL BE THE SECOND SEASON?!
.
.
.
cuz i'm dying just for imagining how the second season will be aired

:D

Can i just say im so disappointed that this series turned out this way? It could really have been an amazing series since the main couple was so cute but it was pretty obvious God didnt really wanted to be in it? His body language screamed HMPB! Bass on the other hand was just adorable!!!!!! I basically watched the series for him and stuck throughout for this cutie.

Along with all the dramas that has happened outside the series I really never understand why they went on to make 2 moons 2???????

I miss cutie bass. He's got a new BL partner now and that guy seemed hot. But somehow the chemistry is lacking i'm not sure im gonna watch it or not.

This drama is fun and cute! The characters are easy to like and are relatble and funny. However, the series is very similar to Sotus and if you wanted to watch a drama like this more for the acting and character development, I would tell you to go watch Sotus. I feel like this drama would be very good for someone who is just starting to delve into the BL Drama world.

Story wise, yes, this drama is very similar to Sotus however this drama feels more rushed and I feel like their relationship bloomed out of nothing.

I am looking forward to the second season! And I will tell you now, Ming is a man you will fall in love with.

What happens if you remove all conflict from a drama and leave only the really cute bits? You get this very cute show. An alternate title could be "conversations between hot men," because that's pretty much all that happens.

But don't let that discourage you! I was looking for something fluffy and this fit the bill perfectly. I smiled and giggled my way through every episode (though I got bored in the episode with the pageant, which seemed to last longer than an actual pageant).

This plot lacks the tension of SOTUS, which it's often compared to. But I disapproved of SOTUS's enthusiasm for hazing too much and couldn't really enjoy it. Two Moons didn't have anything to object to. It was nice that the heroes were both basically interested in each other from the beginning (though there's some of that stupid BL "I'm only gay for you" nonsense).

If you're looking for more tension, the secondary couple have more conflict--and more flirting. And they are very, very cute. As are the tertiary couple, come to think of it... okay, this university is entirely populated by hot gay guys.

Best thing about this series is that it focused closely on these likable main characters so I never felt like there were throw-away scenes. The show would probably have higher rewatch value if there was a bit more plot and tension, but I still enjoyed the heck out of this show. As undemanding and fluffy as they come, if that's what you're looking for.

I loved the story line. They had the perfect cast for the drama. The main characters kept you wanting more. if 2 Moons The Series Season 1 was amazing can't wait for Season 2. You will die watching this drama with all the cute scenes and characters in it. I hope that Season 2 continues Pha's and Yo's story more as they get closer and grow. This drama was one of the first Thai dramas that I watched which got me into watching dramas and getting into Thai culture. I loved the drama a lot. It really kept you wanting to watch more and more. There are some surprises in the drama as well.

This is my first BL i watched.
this is so sweet. i mean their love really that pure. Storyline is really great but maybe for the conflict is not good like other BL.
maybe because this is season 1? i already read season 2&3 . that is better! so i think im gonna love this and give this drama all 10. if they're release season 2 &3 .
but i'm sure you will love this drama. because Phana and Wayo was that sweet. my heart always melted because of them.
I know why this drama success. Because of the cast, i'm not sure 2moons will success if not the cast, because i read 2moons novel, the cast and character really have a same feeling.. idk, but i love all the cast.

Today is the last day of 2 moons the series for season 1. I have been watched the ep 1 until ep 12 ( im going to watch it tonight) Overall i will never feel regret watching this series. This series gives me a lot of happiness and also sadness at the same time. I will always keep supporting p'kim , p'tae , p'god , p'bas , p'copter aka corgi and p'tee and we need to give them a round of applause for being such a great actors because they make us mixed feelings after the end of season 1. But don't worry because we still have season 2 yeayyyyyyy. I just watched some of video clips of them today on instagram where they held a fan meeting today in this afternoon just few hours ago. Everybody were crying omg but there were a lot of sweet and fun games they did. P'god unaccidentally kissed p'bas while they were playing games hahahahaha. And they also did a performance which is very cool using the series's ost. They did an awesome job guysssss we should celebrate with them tonight while watching ep12. Goshh I can't wait for their first kiss.LETS BE PATIENT FOR NEXT YEAR AND KEEP SUPPORTING THEM FOR SEASON 2. SUSUNA GUYSSSSSSS LOVE YA FROM MALAYSIA.

The story was well written with maybe some unusual parts (nothing I can specifically mention at the moment). It was nice with a touch of realism, but also fictional elements because in reality, the probability of witnessing a cast of school guys all leaning towards the same gender is unlikely. But what can I say, it's based off the novel. Besides the cast is good looking. Godt, Bas, Copter, Kimmon, and among others are visually attractive so it's probably one of the reasons why I watched this series.

The music was exceptional. The usage of songs from former series gave me a nostalgic feel which I loved and enjoyed. Also, Bas (Wayo) has a nice singing voice (I believe that's his voice in the series).

The story just gave me butterflies whenever the two main couple were together (Still waiting for Forth and Beam to get together; I'm guessing that'll happen next season). Kimmon (Ming) is great at acting despite being featured as a main in two series so far (Lovesick was more or less an appearance).

Overall, I think the cast did great for those who were new and old. I'll admit that there were awkward staring/silence (the usual case in most BL series) scenes here and there; I still thoroughly enjoyed the series.

Waiting for the next season.

This movie is an eye openner to the new era of our society. It rebuts the idea that love will be realized and made possible only by relationship of a man and woman. The society may look at it disgusting but, this movie will provide a such idea of having relationship with man as equal to with a woman. Gender does not matter, what matter is how you LOVE" the person. It is on how do you ACCEPT him, ang how do you VALUE that person you love. Congratulations to all persons involve in making this awesome movie serries.

I would like to suggest for the next season:
Include the family of all the casts, portray their struggles and eventually able to support BL so that it may gain sympathy from families who has experience of having gay son, brother, friend with BL relationship.
Also, include society's issues on BL thing and how able to overcome them as a couple loved each other.

Congratulations: Wayo, Phana, Fourth, Beam, Kit, Ming (all involved) for doing such a great job.

Hope to meet you all.....looking forward to a unique season 2....

My 6 Moons- The Right Amount of Everything

1. Bas is so sweet, precious and adorable .He captures the screen like no one else can. I enjoyed Wayo and Pha way more than I should. I didn't skip a scene.
2. Kimmon has a way of delivering his lines and his face expression is so on point. I watched Gen Y first and then this and wonder if Kim had a chin surgery or not (I'm pretty sure I did). MingKit is a perfect match. Kit= Kitty with doctors gang= Kit Kat with Ming
3. Tae Darvid is manly and Tee Thanapon is so handsome. Tee delivered his lines perfectly when teasing Kit with Ming. Tae and Tee didn't become a couple and some how I like that even more. The series name is 2 Moons and not 6 Moons after all. LOL
4. I liked the storyline, the acting, directing and editing. The plot isn't that interesting or creative but in a weird way it works. This drama made me feel good and brought back all kinds of emotions that I thought I have lost (watching K drama for such a long time). Healthy relationship+ supportive friendship. Never thought that I would love the drama this much.

Problematic rep, unoriginal/unbelievable story, decent acting

I notice that people either love 2 Moons or hate it. I'm somewhat part of the latter group. Even

Realism and Representation: 2 Moons get a fail in this category. Pha's confrontation with the "gay is wrong!" Pring in episode 11 basically tells the audience that Pha is a straight (TM) guy who fell in love with Yo, the one man he's interested in. He also "advised" Kit earlier on that the gender of the person doesn't matter when it comes to love, which is the definition of pansexuality, but completely ignoring/erasing the existence of sexual orientations. Ming and Kit are also "suddenly awakened" straight (TM) men as if they triggered the gay-for-you mutation in each other. No, there is little evidence to suggest any of them being bisexual or pansexual given how they only find that one man (TM) attractive. Besides, none of them claimed to be. Is this shit written in the 2000s? Ming and Beam, despite being great friends, failed the heternormativity/fujoshi criteria for the show by calling Yo the wife and made jokes like "they'd have lots of children by now." Pha himself made a pregnant joke, and of course it's Yo who's pregnant. It's a wonder how Yo still manages to not come out as trans and get transferred to the Star section of the competition. Maybe the show should be called Moon and Star instead? With the exception of Yo who has never shown interest in women (or other men besides Pha), and Forth who is the best representation of an openly gay man in the series, the other gay characters are obvious stereotypes and caricatures (Angel Club) but females students in the same fan club act pretty much the same way - obnoxiously and creepily. There are no demonized female characters besides some jealous women doing normal jealous things. Transwomen are shown as matter-of-fact and are not made fun of. Lastly, there are quite a few rape jokes, depending on the translation. A translator's notes say that the word means to do sexual things forcefully to someone but not necessarily rape.

Story: What's the trope name for popular guy falling for the lonely/ostracized/quiet/insecure girl/guy? Tropes are fine IF everything else goes well. That's not what's happening here. While having two people who have "secret" crushes on each other stumble around to gain each other's affection can be fun to watch, it makes my eyes invert themselves that Pha manages to ruin every moment he had with Yo since MIDDLE SCHOOL even though he knew Yo's feelings towards him. Don't go acting all sad puppy after you purposefully misread Yo's awkward but obvious signals. Yes, he's still into you. Pha's friends claim he's struggling with his sexuality and worry too much about what others think. I don't buy that. Or at least, that's not what the audience is seeing: Pha's being extremely confident and forward with Yo with every chance he gets (even Pring can see it) and yet he follows it up with a giant step backward. In Cantonese, we call what he's doing to Yo: a bite of sugar, a bite of shit. That's the one thing I can't suspend my disbelief for this show. So if you don't want to watch the sugar and shit back-and-forth, watch the first two episodes and skip to episode 7 which is the turning point of their relationship. Afterwards, Yo transforms into a dead fish. The ultimate twist of the story is... Pha has been in love with Yo this whole time! Shock!

Characters: I'm tired of dramas trying way too hard to push the idea with someone is attractive. It's unoriginal. It's not funny. It's cringey. Let the casting do their job. Pha is absolutely obnoxious and physically aggressive but seemingly only to Yo, and without reason. The actor had that aspect nailed down. The first thing he did to Yo was to insult him of being spoiled because he's rich. Guess what? Pha is rich himself. Something doesn't add up. Was he bullying Yo (before he recognizes him) because he's immature and that's his way of showing affection, or is he rude to everyone? It's not the latter because we later know he gets along well with pretty much everyone. And it's not the former because once Pha recognizes that Yo is the Wayo from his middle/high school, and therefore worthy of affection, he acts like a normal human being. Yo looks child-like and feminine but he has a surprisingly low voice, is brash and never a push-over. I like that. But after they start dating, Yo turns into a jealous dead fish with confidence issues. He gets compliments from everyone, including Pha, in almost every episode! He also slut shames. And he's too shy to kiss Pha until the last episode? I don't like that. Fort is basically perfect personality-wise but he gets very little screen time.

Acting: everyone gave a pretty solid performance despite the script they have to work with. There are a lot of awkward pauses when it comes to Yo. I'm not sure if we're supposed to find them endearing. Yo and Pha's vacant stares of longing are pretty funny at the beginning but Yo has this vacant expression (without the longing) for 3/4 of the series. Is he trying to mask his feelings? But after they practically got together, Yo's still pretty uncomfortable with Pha. Compare that with how open he is with Ming, or even when he first clashed with Pha. He was a lot more emotive. I know he has some confidence issues but he got with the love of his life! How is he not over the moon? What is the director going for? On the other hand Pha's completely, openly smitten. The talent show is realistic because it's very cringey. Yo's performance is nice but I prefer the song he played in the piano room. I like the actors - they were the only thing keeping me going. Since they're not in the next season, there's absolutely no reason to continue watching.
