This is a beautiful drama that ridiculously captured my attention.Considering it's a clear low budget drama
It is a great web series.
Please don't go into this drama expecting clear crisp A Grade drama standards.
Be warned it is low budget so some parts aren't so great but many are amazingly hilarious.
Actors and Actresses did an amazing job I thoroughly believed their characters and some moments are just so Chinese humour it made me laugh and felt nostalgic as some of the directing style are no longer conveyed in A grade new generation dramas
Some will notice the first season didn't end properly but continuing through the whole three seasons
You will get a cute ending and for some a questioning moment. Remember this is a light hearted drama.
Favourite moments is how Possessive of a lover SuYu is over his "prince" Qingge
QingYun is a typical supporting character.
Music actually goes well with drama.
Costumes/make could be better for a more polished drama but was actually quite great and amazing for a low budget drama.
Love the ng bts at the end of every episode.
Overall I would watch drama again but not immediately.

Double Gender Bender
I avoided watching this at least 6 times, then out of sheer lack of other good watch.and seeing the review on AmazonPrime was a full 5 stars (equivalent to 10), I finally watched it. It took about 15 minutes for my interest to grow then it slowly got to my expectations. The secrets were so many that it gets confusing. I blame the Emperor for and the Prime Minister for all the evil the two women did, and still doesn't give them the right to be evil. Our poor fake princess and prince suffered because of them. The whole gender swap thing is funny- its not played to it full potential tho ex: Who knows why SuYu is even a girl, cuz idk other than her mom... I don't think they fully explain it enough for me... or the subs are too bad. QingGe- is great to watch as a guy... the wig is horrible, has huge padding. Its just perfect for trying to hid who she is. I like how possessive they become over each other- they have a great kiss and I love when they go into the city together.
QingYun is the childhood friend triangle that also has a evil dad.
Best costume- SuYu's evil mage armor
I like that there is not a lot of extra people like in other dramas for filler
I also really like QingGe's helpers- her main guy and the chicken guy. I wish they had their names listed! xD
The ending is left open- as there are 2 more seasons... and they get a better budget! I have only watched 1 tho.
Music- Not good enough that I remember it
I would recommend this to another that wants a light, easy drama. I had a hard time sticking with it as the wig is an eye sore but that was only for 2ep and then I got into it. The show is short with maybe 25mins and they have bonus producing bits at the end of ever epi making it extra fun! Showed Liu Ji Kai in a new light

Divertente ma...
Delle volte si guardano dei drama per puro intrattenimento, e delle volte capita che poi li si divori in due notti...Non è stato il caso di questo drama che ho cominciato proprio a vedere per curiosità e che per buona parte della storia mi ha davvero divertita.
Fin dall'inizio appare come un drama piuttosto ridicolo, con lo scambio di generi tra dragone e fenice, e le risate non mancano. Ma poi le cose cominciano a cambiare e comincia a delinearsi una storia di classici intrighi e complotti di potere. Le donne sempre le più avide in questo genere di cose, e gli uomini un po' succubi.
A me è piaciuta molto l'interpretazione dell'attore maschile Liu Ji Kai, soprattutto nei panni della fenice. Lo trovo molto comico ma anche molto intenso quando sveste i panni del buffone e indossa quelli di comandante.
Da guardare sicuramente anche i seguiti, il 2 e il 3.
