My Mister (2018)

Attatched to both ML so much. Also it's so real & very emotional. Not like first sight love relationship grows slowly. And the side actor's are Also strength of both series.

Both series have a main male lead who is morally upstanding in an increasingly corrupted work environment. Both of their bosses also dislike them and would like to see them fired.

They both explore the topic on infidelity deeply and has Lee Sun Gyun's as the main lead, not to mention his voice (eargasm). Both can make you feel a lot of emotions, but My Wife's is more comedic. It has similar vibes on the melodrama side.

Both have poor and orphan female lead, commit crimes
family matters,
sad and dark vibes,
full of emotion,
beautiful,
great cast and acting.
and.....
very realistic.
And the romance in both drama is :'(.. quite similar. give it a try!

Both of these titles center around a relationship between a young woman and a much older man who work together. Through the relationship that is formed, both parties are able to grow and overcome the difficulties they face.

some moments made me feel the same series.In both series, people's lives undergo different changes.the lead roles have strange relationships with each other.both series have ideas on innocence and guilt.Both series were recently taken.

The similarity between these two drama are both of them very inspiring and warm hearted! Both of drama also have taught me about reality of life, did not easily give up and motivate me to move forward even though our life is hard.

The main character interaction also kinda gave a similar vibe where the male and female lead try to understand and heal each other. And the main character also has a huge age gap but it doesn't matter as their relationship will naturally develop :)

If u guys love Itaewon Class, u will definitely love My mister :)

After episode 5, I got "My Mister" vibes from Hush. Both of the series are focused on the relationship between two main leads with age gap and no romance at all. The characters are healing and learning from each other, and developing their characters just like My Mister. Both of the young girls also acted cold and rude to the male leads at first. And there's also other similarity like both of the male leads in My Mister and Hush have their own squad to fight corruption in their company.

"All the way to the sun" And "My mister" Both shows have age gap between male lead and female lead.

First of all.Both dramas are CLASSIC MASTER PIECE in my opinion.
Both drama main leads are dealing with infidelity issues. But totally in different ways.

In secret love affair Female lead is much older than male lead.
My Mister male lead is much older than female lead.

In secret love affair Female lead is dealing with office politics.
My Mister male lead is is dealing with office politics.

Both dramas have many heartwarming and heart breaking moments.

Main similarity, YOO AH IN from secret love affair and LEE SUN GYUN from my mister has insane acting skills.Both are not talking much in both dramas but their expresions talking 1000 words.

Both have:
- themes of the political side of the corporate world
- lead characters struggling from the affair of their spouses
- binge-worthy episodes

I feel Lee Ji An from My Mister and Lee So Hyun from Here's my Plan are very similar characters. Both have a tragic past and consequently go down the wrong path. Both meet new good-natured people who help them.

They each share a sense of melancholy, as two people find liberation in each other from their circumstances, with an outspoken FL, and a more sensitive, burdened father ML. Both are in the slice of life genre, featuring more mature characters and stories.

They both make you feel like you're taking an intimate stroll through South Korean backstreets.

The format is different (one is a movie, the other is a drama), but I found SLSYT pretty similar to My Mister in some ways. They both use beautiful symbolism to add to the story.

Both are centered on the MC’s introspection and explore through them regrets that pile up in one’s life and the inner self you never let out all this time. The desire to become somebody else or to disappear out of self-hatred is one of the main themes of both stories.

SLSYT shows the journey of one character, My Mister the meeting of two characters at the lowest point of their life.

The two stories are filled with melancholy and just as Shim Hee Sub in SLSYT, Lee Sun Kyun and Lee Ji Eun/IU portray it in a compelling way.
They both depict the MCs' relationship with their family.
