meet me @1006 ( lol ill meet you anywhere if you as cute as the ml my bro )

Okay so this is my first ever review , which is kinds bad considering the fact i've watched so many dramas , where do I even begin , I started this drama on a whim legit had no idea what it was about or even who were the cast , half way into the first episode I realised that the main leads where the same as a love @ seventeen. I have grown found of Li Guo Yi (Ke Zhen Yu ) through the pat few years since I've started taiwanese dramas, saying this I had no idea he was lead in this loool , but any way moving on to the actual drama , where it wasn't perfect I would 124% recommend watching it.

I find that the plot is unique even to time travel has been done and done again countless times , there was something about his the story just really stuck out , I love the character development and countless plot twist , I tell to one thing this writer is good. The only place where the drama fell through would be the female leads character it self like for real tho as much as i love Nikki (Cheng Jia Le) she was slow sometimes and kinda dumb also , but the romance and chemistry between the lead made it all worth it like I fucking ship them so bad and they hella cuteee I cant like .

The drama real does keep you on your toes wondering wtf is gunna happen especially if you haven't watched a lot of drams the plot might be difficult to predict but being the nerd I am I've come to the point where I notice all these little details like when I get it right I surprise my self because I feel smarter then I acc am . BUT BE PREPARED TO BE SUPPRISED BECAUSE THIS SHIT CRAY ESpecially towards the end also get your tissue ready because I cried so hard it hurt but THE HAPPY ENDING makes up for it

Overall this has honestly become one of my fave dramas of the year and I know I might even watch it again because its so cute once again MAIN LEADS ARE OTP FOR LIFEE.

Packing List for a Time-Merge Expedition

Please bring along the following recommendations for an enjoyable journey.

1. Only bring your essential brain function
Do not expect some in-depth murder/law/mystery genre. Leave that expectation at your front door. The romance was also a bit light but enough to placate this romance fan.

2. Three bowls
The first part of the drama was a bit rubbish, but somehow it sprinkled enough enticement for me to click to the next episodes. By the 9th episode, the story and the interaction amongst the characters were tighter and a lot more interesting. Then it went a little strange at the beginning of the final third of the story. The writers threw in some weird ingredients to make the story “spicy”. Thank goodness that did not last.

3. Leading Strings
Shipping the two leads was a bumpy journey. However, once the screaming and them flapping about at each other’s territory stopped, the two leads calmed and managed to blend into the story's rhythm nicely.

If you need assistance during your time-merge expedition, please do not hesitate to voice your concerns either in: 1) the MDL feeds, 2) this drama’s comments section, and/or 3) your family/friends.

I can't believe this wonderful drama is finally over! Where to begin...Well I saw a very interesting clip which certainly grabbed my attention. Those who have seen that clip will probably know what I'm talking about...tub...

The story for me is very unique as I've never watched a merging plot. I enjoyed every moment I spent watching this drama. There was one or two moments I knew what was gonna happen but there were more things that absolutely shocked me to the core! I loved the chemistry between the leads but I'd have loved a little bit more on the romance front but that didn't matter too much as there was more interest in the mystery/legal parts.

At first I wasn't sure about watching it because the last time I watched Nikki she played another reporter who was quite selfish so I kinda had the same image of Jia Le before I took the time to watch. Luckily, I'm one who believes in giving second chances. I love the lead's chemistry and some (but not all) of the supporting cast.

I only listened to the music during the opening credits because I have a fear of the end credits giving too much away. I really love the opening music but the closing one didn't really have the same effect. I also loved that they used a song throughout the drama that was also played on Memory Love.

I will most likely rewatch my favourite episodes as they were acted extremely well.

Aside from the fact that I'd read the leads have previously worked together so you may want to watch just to see them work together again, I'd recommend this drama to those who enjoy a drama with a nice mixture of romance, comedy, mystery, law and supernatural.

A little bit of everything and a lot of fun to watch!

This drama is so much fun!

This drama is about 80% fun cute bickering couple, and 20% drama time confusion, mystery etc

This drama offers lots of frustration, interesting twists (some more predictable then others) and extremely well written and interesting characters withe some plot holes, like why people from the past could just exit the front door without noticing anything... But over all most of it actually does cover up potential problems with time slips and the all important butterfly effect.

The male lead is the usual self centered guy that is actually very warm once you get to know him. The female lead is stubborn as amule, at times smart at times an idiot and has quite a few trust issues while being fickle and to trusting too... But I guess in a world full of doubvious people it can be hard to know who to trust... Both are very playful, have great chemistry and are really fun to watch!

Greg Hsus character may not have a lot of screen time but he is just soooooo welll written and ads a lot of spice and fun to the plot, not only with his smile, the stylist of this show did a great job with him too,

The fls colleague is another guy with a small role but done really well and it is nice to see a non typically handsome slightly over weight character be portrayed as human and not just someone who likes to eat so, extra points for that.

This drama is also highly bingable, though I may not constantly have been on my toes, I was never board and felt all kinds of emotions, Mostly ooooh they are soooo cute. This drama also shows that men and women can just be friend, they also throw in some pretty important issues that may have a small slot but are very well written...

Definitely a fun drama, that I am willing to recommend to more or less anyone, because it is just one of those dramas that has it all

Bonus: The product placement in this is off the top, funny and obvious! Again well written!

I finished this drama only in 2 days. I can't stop watching this. Really! Every episodes gave me a story, a question, an answer, a mix thrill between happy; curious; upset and excited. I really can write a review without me telling a hole story, but believe me, this drama really worth my lack of sleep and panda's eye o(≧▽≦)o

The story mainly tells us about time-travel or merge time every 10:06 p.m until 10:52 p.m and the reason behind that is very romantic in my opinion. Not like other movie / drama about time-travel, this drama let the actions change in the past also change the future.

There's likely a single case told in this drama. The other case is surprisingly connected in the end. The case not really complicated in my opinion, but the emotions mixed in that case makes it more interesting.

Even though the ending classified as positive, but 3 last episodes really play with my emotion. I even shed a tears (^_^;) But don't worry, all is settled down.
My most favorite part? I can't pick one because I love the whole part, but I like the scene when the past Ke Zhen Yu become the messenger for the future Ke Zhen Yu (^o^)

The acting of Lego Lee is really superb! He can delivered two different characters just based on the time and the hairstyles (^o^) And the changes of his feeling towards the female lead is quite smooth and makes me adore him (o˘◡˘o)
Nikki Shieh's acting is not bad too, she's doing great especially in the final episodes. In the early episodes, I feel she can do better.

This is one of the drama that I'll re-watch no matter what for sure! And this drama makes me curious to make a flying horse ( ´ ▽ ` )

This drama is like a three course dish in a very good restaurant with Michelin stars. The starter and main dish are just truly amazing but when you expect a fancy dessert straight from the molecular cuisine you get a simple apple pie with ice creams and you are like “huh only an apple pie? This is not what I expected” But still after watching so many amazing dramas I have to admit that if someone asks me about “the drama of my life” I would definitely point my finger at Meet Me @1006.

Where do I begin? At first I love this drama so much because of time travelling. This is my cup of tea and this is the first time when I see that idea in a drama. Merger of apartments and short time travel is a very refreshing concept that force characters to deal with that in a unique way and additionally causes lots of funny moments. If you are fan of time travelling you know very well that many shows start to be annoying at some point because of paradoxes or butterfly effect. Very often they are explained in a really bad way. Surprisingly here many elements were explained brilliantly. So from the point of time travelling everything is on its place and I am more than satisfied.

Second thing is the cast. So I will be honest with you that Nikki and Lego are my fav couple ever. I also have seen them in “Love at 17” and they have amazing chemistry on set. To be honest they are very, very close friends and they feel extremely comfortable with each other during shooting, you can easily see it. Because of that many intimate scenes are just a pure perfection. Lego became my number one in silent acting or as I personally call it “a half sentence acting” when he drops a line to finish his thought by his face expression.

Another gem in the cast is Huang Tender who is hairdresser in his everyday life (by the way, between shoots he did hair for female stuff on set, just for fun ;) ) He has natural talent for acting and it is pleasure to watch him in all the scenes.

The last thing that I totally love is music and photos and places that create proper atmosphere for that series. The song from the opening is just brilliant - you can’t stop listening to it, believe me. Amazing photos with perfect filter and editing and of course industrial and plain flat interior just won over my heart. Not even mention the amazing trailers that you can see on YT (my fav is the one with swinging lamps).

So what about this apple pie instead of fancy dessert at the end? Well it is a quite good apple pie so you will eat it anyway but you will probably have an insufficiency. Script is really interesting with many plot twist and time shuffles but some thread could be explained better at the very end. I had a feeling that two episodes before the ending were cut out and I miss some part of the story. The explanations of some threads were just too simple after so many plot twists and some characters literally deserve to have more complex endings. Intricately built plot speeds up too much in last episode that’s for sure. (As far as I know director explained some decisions about the plot in the interview but unfortunately only Chinese speaking people can figure it out).

But do I recommend this anyway? SURE I DO. There are so many awesome moments in this drama! The bathroom scene is epic! The fact that Jia Le has to deal with lawyer Ke from future and past (her present) – here Lego did awesome job because even though this is the same person he behaves in totally different ways and Lego portrayed it in a splendid way. Still these two versions on one person are very consistent with each other - it is a masterpiece. The whole murder plot is really interesting and keeps you in suspense. And there is a big possibility that after the series finale you will feel a huge need to learn how to do an origami pegasus.

The best SubwayTM advert in the universe!

And I'm only half kidding about the headline, Subway is an integral part of the plot.

I had dropped countless T dramas over the years, before this one I had only finished maybe 3 of them. The fact that 1006 has become the 4th is a pretty big deal for me, since the average Taiwanese dramas tend to be unwatchable for me, but at the very least it's almost always fascinating to see how different they are from mainland Chinese dramas & seeing a decent one like this one has been a great experience. So yes, it's absolutely worth watching, but it's very far from flawless.

The romantic plot is rather nice, I would rate that separately at 9/10, the only criticism I can make about that is that it was a bit draggy at times. The leads had great chemistry with each other, the fantasy added a nice flair to their relationship and I even liked their conclusion. People that think this is not a true happy ending because of what happened in e22 are a bit silly.

Even as a mystery thriller drama 1006 intrigued me from early on, I was genuinely interested about the investigations & where the story would take me. However in this drama the journey as far better than the destination, the villains have baffling motivations behind their actions & it was not fun to see them revealed and especially to see their "end".

Let's talk about plotholes! In time travel related dramas it's extraordinarily difficult to avoid plotholes and I feel like the writer here did not even really make an attempt. The story is not bad overall, but it's not very polished, for starters there are a lot of minor retcons and the writer seems to not know that two phones having identical IMEI numbers won't work on the same network. The one thing that bothered me the most is that Jia La not believing Zhen Yu about certain events from the future happens A LOT and it's been established that verification would've been child's play. She could've just joined on Man Man's wifi (or ask a SubwayTM worker's phone to check the internet) and do a Google search. Also I was totally convinced that she knew about ZY representing Ji Rou, when it was revealed that she did not know I was just rolling my eyes..

Ji Rou is a horrible character. Her lack of correct decision making ability is extraordinary, even by Makjang-kdrama standards. Why is this a problem? Because most of the investigations & timeline adjustment attempts revolve around saving her & her husband, but the truth behind the events related to her is not that easy to accept.

The production values are on the low side, the visuals (lighting, makeup, cinematography) are reminiscent of a 2005 era kdrama. Though I must mention that the sets were rather nice.

Well-knit Time Travel ROMANCE (yay!) with a side of law/investigation/mystery

Why did I give this an overall 10? In my opinion, it is a perfect mix of a romance, time travel & mystery centered in the legal & investigative fields. I think the saddest thing is that her character is completely unfit to be an investigative reporter due to her openly biased opinions but she's a girl who uses her body more than her brain. *smh* Just know that going in, lol. She's a former judo champion who just decided this was the job for her. He calls her a husky but I kept picturing big blundering sometimes sulky sheepdog bounding all over the place bumping into things. She's just so un-self-aware & reactive as a character so when they tag her with "gullible," you best be believin' this girl might infuriate you at first. But she gets better & she's got an amazing smile w/these adorable dimples. I mean, she's a cutie pie. Usually our couple's dreams & ambitions match up with their personality (and reality!) & I think that was the only thing I found jarring. I didn't like her at first because of this, I have to admit! I"m usually waiting for the guy to live up to the promise of the girl but in this drama it was soooo the opposite. Love me that Leo Lee. He rocked both of those roles incredibly well & looked amazing while doing it. Also: their romance & the development of their relationship fit in perfectly with the time travel element of redemption & sacrifice the mystery arc, I liked the symbols (the multiple doorways, the paper pegasus,) as well as the nicely knotted ends for all the angles--except maybe one. It's a come-full-circle story & such a fun ride.

Destiny and pegasus

Well, this was strangely addictive and at the same time just plain awful and ugly! Moreover the produces cand definitely beat GMMTV where the PPL is concerned. This drama was apparently completely sponsored by Subway....a new romantic place for a dinner date! Not!

So this review is just a long rant and a string of notes I jotted down as I watched. Here it goes....

ML has a horrible haircut! And grimacing like he does, he reminds me of Jang Hyuk in Fated To Love You which I absolutely detest! I love the concept of this drama but sometimes little things ruin the viewing experience too much! Another thing that made me drop this drama three times while watching the first episode is awful cinematography and camera image quality: it is too sharp and therefore sterile, very uncomfortable to watch....It looks like something from the 70/80s: ugly! Now on ep 4 and the FL's attitude is getting me more and more annoyed: she is the epitome of a brainless sports professional cliché! Limited vocabulary and immediate violence...and a huge chip on her shoulder!
Episode 6 and the FL is seriously getting on my nerves: self-righteous, stupid, jumping to conclusions, giving those disappointed, hurt, holier than thou looks with trembling lips and unwilling to listen or compromise. Those righteous know it all characters are rage inducing....
I decided not to pay attention to the childish pouty FL and the plot seems to be chugging along smoothly but very very very slowly. One thing is rather amusing: the 45 min merge sometimes seems hours long: they have time to talk, to go on a walk, eat at Subway, walk some more very slowly and then gaze into each other's eyes for a very long time! Time well used! Sometimes they are together for what seems 5min, they argue and poof! the end of the merge mid sentence!
Even though I said I would not pay attention to her, I cannot not notice her biting her lower lip all the time....what an annoying habit!
Ep.15 another extremely annoying character is the prosecutor: sensible to victims' tears has no respect for defense lawyers "How dare you defend someone who is obviously guilty?" and asking a survivor of a crime to apologize for being alive....What a jerk! And of cours the FL is even worse than that: "You are a horrible person for defending alleged criminals but who are really criminals because the tenderhearted prosecutor said sao even though he has no tangible proof!"
OMG that FL is going to be the death of me! Still, in ep 17 she does not want to believe anything the ML says but she believes and trusts EVERYONE else, literally everyone else and particularly the prosecutor who is the same as her: stupid, too emotional and self righteous! And she, with her big round shiny puppy dog eyes, turned up nose and slightly open and trembling lips is the epitome of a bad FL. Why would someone like ML fall for her is beyond comprehension since he is her complete opposite! I guess it's opposites attract even with zero chemistry! Urghhhhhh!

Now it is getting to be seriously messy: ep 18 he tells he she's going to die but didn't she already know that two episodes ago?!?!?! The writers are slowly starting to do whatever: ManMan in present talks to future ML about the FL's death that has not happened yet. A mess!
Could the events be called plotholes if they are illogical? The guy breaks into someone's house and then sits back, rests and lights up a cigarette throwing it away after a couple of puffs and leaving the smell and ashes behind? Maybe he does it on purpose ? The characters are doing more and more stupid things. The worst still being the FL: no one is taking her stupidity crown away!

Ep.21 Now even the ML is biting his lower lip when he's worries! It must be contagious.... And in ep 22: the relationship between brother and sister is a weird one to say the least: there is definitely much more going on there that meets the eye. That much was evident from the start but now they are really showing it to us in case we did not get the hints! I did not really! I noticed the odd behaviour when they were together but incest was not one of the options I was considering (more like gaslighting, control, abuse). Maybe one of them (him?) is adopted?

No, it is actually her!Fake siblings then attempted murder then amnesia! This is looking more and more like a makjang: secrets, fake families, hatred and revenge for obscure reasons. In any case being like siblings or brothers, is not really recommended by this drama: just a recipe for disaster! Fortunately though, our FL is still her stupid gullible self! Glad some things never change?

And of course the last episode? The ML plays the hero and ends up in a coma for months. When he wakes up, months later, his head is still bandaged since it apparently did not suffice, all those MONTHS, in come for the wound to heal over! The FL is doing her saintly wife duties, kindly talking, being nice to everyone and all in all being angelical! I was half expecting a halo above her head, her eyes turned towards heavens and divine light shining around her! Well it almost happened every time she drew back the curtains....
So, of course, perfectly natural and logical and realistic, when he wakes up from his coma, there is nobody around in the hospital, he has his full strength back immediately even though he had been in a coma for months. Therefore he pulls out the IV drip, goes home and on the way does some shopping because he has his wallet in his hospital garb: nobody in the hospital notices that he's missing and of course FL doesn't know anything. Come on, give me a break!

Mystery > Romance

This drama's strong suit is definitely its story, doing a great job tying together subplots and side characters, and also changing the timeline just enough to keep it interesting. This is one of those rare cases where I actually cared much more about the mystery than the romance.

I really enjoyed seeing how the main leads would take advantage of their time slip, while also needing to hide such a sticky situation from the other people in their lives. It made for a lot of good humor. The best moments, however, are when they do succeed at changing the timeline and end up having to deal with the consequences of the butterfly effect.

The male lead was also great; he was intelligent and straightforward, and he felt like a driving force for the plot much more than the female lead did. The acting was also fantastic — you could tell which Ke Zhen Yu was on screen simply from his micro-expressions and how he carried himself.

On the other hand, I didn't really care that much for the female lead, who was often misguided in her stubbornness, making it frustrating to watch.

I also think the ending leaves some more to be desired; there are some character interactions I wanted that I didn't get, and I felt like the climax and the fallout from it didn't get enough screentime or explanation. I think I just wanted more time for everyone and everything to come clean.

Overall, this was an okay watch. I was interested but not captivated, and the budget/visuals look low. The best part, though, is the story for sure.

Very interesting timetravelling, funny & cute

Ok.. finished this drama in 3days.. among super awesome c-drama! my feedback:

1. Storyline : 10/10

Very fresh storyline for timetravel genre. I normally hate crime/investigation genre, but love time travel so much. The storyline is very engaging and the different crime cases they tried to solve were actually interelated to each other. So feedback from others saying getting boring because not focusing on character development and too many cases are not true unless u watch pass ep10. You have to watch more to know the value.

Typical c-drama always dragging and focusing on too many extra couples & their side stories. This is not the case for this drama! Too many plot twist that made this drama super interesting & engaging. You really cannot expect how it ended LoLz.. XD

And typically for any drama (k/c-drama) when the main couple finally together, the plot start to decline & there r many dramas that i cannot force myself to continue after certain episodes. Not like this drama, once they started to confess to each other, another plot twist happening. Very² briliant screenwriter. I truly second to make this into k-drama like mentioned by other user!

2. Acting: 9/10

Both actor/actress r handsome/cute. Their chemistry started to improve at later episodes, which is good character development.

Really fun to watch the actor playing two different roles portraying different charisma/attitude. Many cute & funny scenes that worth rewatching. The switch between two characters (future & old lawyer) also very smooth and we can really feel two different entity, like twin with same memory..

Overall, please watch this! Especially to YOU, TIMETRAVEL FAN OUTHERE! Definitely worth every seconds of your time...

Definitely will rewatch this in future..
