This was such a delightful surprise. After reading the synopsis about the series I was somewhat hesitant to watch it because of the twists and time in reality however I was pleasantly surprised by the chemistry, the humor as well as the plot and it’s mini twist. The series revolves around are male and female lead to encounter a situation in which their worlds are merged. How it’s presented is not confusing and how it plays out is not only hilarious but also heartfelt and sweet. There were many moments where I was floored by the shivery, love and sacrifice that our leads were willing to make.

Although this series has the making of and amazing sci-fi or virtual reality tight vibe it was so much more than that. It really touched areas that would make you think but not only that it shows how so many people are quick to judge a book by its cover without really knowing what’s inside. I absolutely loved the character development and how the two worlds intertwined to show the vast difference.

The series itself has great actors with an amazing chemistry, humor that will most certainly provide you with many laughs, action scenes that will keep you on the edge of your seat, twist interns that will throw you for loops that you have never seen coming in sweet romance that will melt your little hearts. This is absolutely a must watch. I have no idea how The writers or directors manage to pull such a series off the way that they did but it was amazing. Even the graphics and how the merge was done was smooth and classic. It doesn’t really feel like a sci-fi or an unrealistic thing. It was really good.

This gets my vote as one of the best Taiwanese dramas to date. The storyline is tight and entertaining, with some twists and turns to keep you really invested. It often-times reminded me of both (Korean) dramas Nine and Secret Garden. I had a few minor issues with the plot here and there but over-all I was really happy with it.

The biggest hurdle I had to force myself over was putting up with (though eventually actually loving) Jia Le. She bothered me so much in the beginning but did come to redeem herself (in my eyes) in the end. Zhen Ya was just so freaking adorable and awesome. What a guy. Loved him to pieces.

This will end up being a re-watcher for me, with just too many scenes I loved not to revisit it again.

A very interesting concept which was executed almost perfectly. It has a perfect mix of a crime thriller and romcom. Even though you can guess the killer easily if you are a general fan of that genre, the way they tried their best to keep the suspense was commendable.

Time travelling happening inside an house at a particular time when past and present meet is in itself really a novel idea and then making the people from those different timelines fall for each other? A total winning concept for me! Plus there was a time limited hunt for a killer as a bonus for the crime thriller fan in me! :)

But in certain scenes I felt that the Ml's acting could have been slightly better...

Anyway an overall 8/10 for me.

A Quick, Fun, and Addicting Watch!

heads up: these are just all my thoughts compiled in a big mess right after i've finished watching this drama!

omg okay. i'm such a sucker for time-traveling/time manipulation and this had my beautiful boy lego li and my new love greg hsu so ofc i picked it up and it was a wild ride, lemme tell you. the first episode was prob one of the best first episodes i've ever watched. cinematography and story set-up was on-point! even though it is a mystery/fantasy (wish they delved a little more into this), it was still so lighthearted and absolutely had my dying of laughter from the two leads' shenanigans. i think they switched between both timelines really well and everything blended nicely together. seeing zhen yu and jia le slowly fall in love and look forward to 10:06 each night melted my heart. they also did such a good job with promoting subway lol i was craving it after every episode. the mystery was definitely interesting to begin with. while i didn't care much for xiao wei's case, it was a great use of foreshadowing.

the romance was so so cute, but i wish we had way more. when you're limited to only 46 minutes a night, it made it hard to fully explore zhen yu and jia le's relationship, especially when most of that time was spent solving the case and gathering clues. their chemistry was amazing and i love them but just wanted to see more of them together. (this is a personal note, but i also wished they talked more about what the heck happened with the two zhen yu's and the flying horse? especially at the end when he woke up. why did the merging suddenly happen again? or was that just the awoken zhen yu who filled the fridge? overall, me sorta confused and felt that even though it's the same memories, past zhen yu was different than future zhen yu).

character development. this drama had such complex and rich characters tho i must say half of these people are psychopaths lowkey. interestingly enough, the main leads are the only normal ones/didn't get as much development. man, i really loved da jun and honestly knew there was going to be a storyline with him based off the intro, but damn, why did he have to be a bad guy :(((( after knowing the crime he committed, i couldn't feel for him and was just waiting for him to get arrested. the storyline regarding him and zhen yu's dad was also kinda rushed and felt thrown in last minute. i was still SHOOK to the core when da jun's twist were revealed and that he basically planted the fabricated evidence. poor zhen yu trusted him and brought him into the past, only for him to try to save himself from getting caught smh. i still love greg tho and his cute curly hair. i would've loved to see more of what the wall in his house was about or what his passcode was? i read pseudo incest in the taglist and there was a hint towards something in the intro, but it took awhile to reveal more about han wen and ji rou's relationship, which was toxic asf and kinda frightening. i loved loved the use of the cigarette butt tho and how that managed to change the case around. they also never addressed what happened to han wen at the end? like sure, he got arrested probably but what else? also rip ji rou still thinking she's a highschooler but i'm glad she basically gets a fresh start. i also had a soft spot for her and she deserves better than cheng hao and han wen. i loved loved the other supporting characters, and wished they got more screen time/better story arcs, including wen-ge (yay he got a girlfriend tho!!!), man man, and the lady for the restaurant (her interactions with zhen yu were amazing). poor mu si ming was really just there to be the second lead huh. he otherwise got little to no development and deserved so much more.

i've seen dramas or have heard of pretty much the entire main cast, so i wasn't surprised at how amazing their acting was! special s/o to aggie hsieh for doing all of ji rou's many many crying scenes so amazingly. greg hsu manages to play both the innocent, cute, internet cafe owner, and also the psychopathic killer. overall, big applause all around to the entire cast.

even though the drama breezed through, i really do think it could've been like 2 or 3 episodes shorter. cheng hao's case ended up dragging on, especially once we found out about the pseudo incest and han wen via the cigarette butt. the last two episodes had too much unnecessary drama (holding jia le captive, zhen yu's coma, etc.). we only got a happy ending like with 10 minutes left of the drama, which was disappointing. they suddenly threw in a girlfriend for mu si ming when they could've built up that storyline from earlier on to make it less random. the writers really decided to just pull out all the wildest stunts into the last half and stress all the viewers out lol. in particular, i felt it was so unnecessary to have the storyline with zhen yu's dad being killed on-duty protecting jia le and was glad they didn't stretch it out or make a big deal out of it. i get they're trying to explain the connection of the flying horse for zhen yu and jia le but that just made me unnecessarily sad.

overall, such a fun and addicting watch. tempted to watch love @ seventeen next cuz i already miss lego x nikki pairing. this is an underrated drama that netflix should pick up because i had to suffer through it getting stuck every 5 seconds of dramacool or watching half the episode at 140p on dailymotion lol.

Before watching I’ve never heard of this show. I found it coincidentally and decided to give it a shot because of the casting. Lego Lee and Nikki Hsieh were perfect together in „Love @ Seventeen“. Therefore I was happy to see them reunited.

The story is great and hooked me from the start. I admired all 26 episodes. The whole plot is really well written. It’s Funny from the start to see how the leafs cope with their strange situation and their 4 months gap. The Dialogs are irresistible. The chemistry between both us perfect. I loved this whole love hate dynamic they got going on all the time.

Then we got two murder cases in the story. The first one is mediocre and isn’t that important for the story at first. Honestly I was totally surprised about the culprit and his development. Nice writing!
The second case is really important and brings the leads together to solve it. This one was pretty obvious from the start. Would I’ve been watched because of the crime element I would’ve been disappointed. But everything else is perfect.

I love the idea to create a villain in his own person 4 months ago. That was funny. Also his reactions when he got ne memories uploaded. The talks with his best friend are hilarious too. So much fun!

Our sweet rookie journalist is a sweetheart with a lots of trust issues. At times it’s a little annoying to see. On the other hand it’s logical. He knows the future but she is from the past and needs to believe everything her enemy tells her. I can understand that this situation isn’t easy.

The whole show was entertaining from the start and I can just highly recommend it. It’s worth seeing!

BTW I guess Subway was the main After finishing the drama I needed to eat at my local subway the same sandwich as the leads and it was quite tasty. Nice commercials!

There was NEVER a dull moment in this drama. I had to give myself a few days just to recover from certain episodes because this drama HAD NO CHILL. But that isn't a bad thing. I loved everyone in this drama even though everyone was somehow associated with Jiang's murder and Ke's downfall. Plus, whenever you thought that everyone was in the clear, the drama would throw in a twist and screw you over and before you or any of the characters could recover, they would throw another twist and then another one!! NO CHILL. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and I was super stressed out because you think you figured everything out and who the murderer is, but then the show would be like...NOPE, you're wrong, nice try! I am usually not into crime dramas, but this one might actually get me into them. It was insane though how much death was in this drama and they didn't like like it was causal. Nope. They made it super intense and emotional. It made you love and hate the same character and you just sit there sad because you want your favorite character to be a homie and help the case, but instead they just wreck it. Plus, I was so right about actors who are in multiple dramas together - they have so much chemistry, you will never look at your favorite drama couple the same again. Like how my favorite drama couple was probably WeiWei and Nai from Love020 or the two mains from Strong Woman who showed those two up. But Ke and Cheng Jia Le showed up all of them!! I think it is part because they know one another and are comfortable with one another, but right from the beginning when they didn't like one another, you could see their connection. And once Cheng Jia Le gave into her love for Ke...dude...their love makes me want to believe there is someone out there for everyone and fate and destiny exists. Regardless how the world wants to break you two apart, these two loved one another so much and you could see the intimacy and love they both had for one another, especially in the INSANE plot twist that happened around ep 21 which I am STILL super salty about! Plus that insane plot twist that happened in episode 25!! Like literally the second to last episode! But the thing is...even though I was heartbroken, I understand that it was the only logical thing that could have happened to give us the AMAZING ending that we got. Honestly, this drama will go down as one of my top favorite dramas, and it is the TOP Taiwanese drama on my list.

First of all I am a bit disappointed because the opening credit spoiled a bit some of the characters personalities so I recommend to skip it especially for the first half eisodes...
This drama combined fantasy, mystery and romance very nicely! Time traveling is a really difficult trope because relativity can dig really big holes, but this show didn't fail and ended up to have his own uniqueness, even tho it has frequently used themes.
I really loved the male lead performance, he was able to differentiate the past and future self with only his acting, even tho they're the same character they are different and you can tell. There was also some hilarious parts (especially in the beginning) and some very romantic (the scene on the stair was very natural and I found myself giggling when she answered his confession through his past self.)
The mystery was good, I predicted some things (in part because of the op) but still really enjoyable, I didn't felt the urge to finish it (it happens frequently that I get bored in the second half of many dramas unfortunately)
Also no annoying music effects or jingles repeated infinitely, the opening song is quite good
