To me, the similarity came from the puzzle-like mystery that we are presented with throughout the dramas, getting bit by bit, but wait...almost nothing is as it seems. We have unreliable narrators or witnesses, people who have certain interests at heart, or even if eeeeverybody knows who the culprit/s might be, all can be explained through a different lens or perspective, depends on who's writing the script and what gets presented to the larger public.
Both dramas are very dark in tone, and the nuances of grey are never more apparent than in those who we deem innocent or always protecting the weak.
Twists are present, both in the past and present and by far the cat-mouse race will keep you wondering either who is the (real?) killer or how can we catch him and/or prevent him from further doing any harm. Watch both and prove me wrong :-)

Difference plot but common themes of murder, loss of family, and a desperately needy couple who cling to each other when the world turns against them.

The ML's father is also a serial killer. The ML falls in love with a girl, and he has to protect her from his father.

Both involve how the public, media, and families of both the victims/perpetrator deal and are intertwined with the aftermath of a shocking crime. The World Between Us has a tight script where every line really matters and moves the story forward. Overall it is less melodramatic and more grounded than Come and Hug Me, and has no romance.

Both are beautiful, romantic, slow-paced melodramas that are centered around two leads connected by a fateful tragic incident. In both the characters deal with trauma, pain and scars of the past and overcoming them by finding comfort in each other. Both dramas also have some thriller elements to them and the FL being a famous actress.

Differences: FMIYM has some romcom elements to it at the beginning and feels a bit lighter, while CAHM feels like a heavier watch overall. Latter also leans more towards the crime/investigation side.

The genre is different but both main leads from the drama have a love story that spans 12 years. In Come and Hug Me, they both were young when they fell in love and found each other 3 times, like in the Third Charm.

Both shows depict how the family's of the victims and the perpetrators are affected after a murder. In Soredemo, Ikite Yuku its the female lead who is the perpetrators family.

Both drama depicted an abusive parent and both leads met as kids.

!!!!!SPOLIERS AHEAD!!!!!!

In Come and Hug, the ML protected FL. ML went on to become a police officer in order to protect FL from his psychopathic father, while in Castaway Diva, ML indirectly watches out for FL by involving himself in every situation FL is in.

FL in come and hug and FL of castaway diva are talented people, one is an actress while the other is an aspiring singer.

Come and hug me is a rather dark show compared to Castaway Diva (there's murder)

Despite the difference in settings and plot, in both one of the lead's father murdered the other lead's family as well as trying to kill them. Despite this, the two leads become each other's healing.

If you like your love stories flashing back to younger versions of lead characters, “When My Love Blooms” displays this same artistic choice.

While this one seems more lighthearted in a way, Come and Hug me has the same FL lead and its crime heavy. While there is not time travel involved, I think the style and telling of these dramas are similar. Come and Hug Me is a more angsty slow burn however, I think they are pretty similar so if you haven't you could always give this one a try!

Both dramas are about two badly traumatized and emotionally fragile people who find healing in each other. Both MLs fear becoming evil and violent, both FLs are withdrawn.

It's not exactly similar but somehow a bit part of story is similar ..The ML's father is suspect to murder FL's mother and leads are childhood sweetheart.

The dramas differ completely in terms of genre, so they give very diferent feelings (though you'll wanna hug the leads in both hehe), but they have some similar points (spoiler alert):
- A trauma in childhood that greatly affects the characters' adult life;
- Supportive families, but with some sibling (between brothers) issues;
- A solid, lovely main couple that isn't bothered by third parties. They meet when they're young, go their separe ways and only meet again as adults. They trust each other from the beginning until the ending.

Both dramas are about passing time. Both characters love only each other every time when they meet again.
