I really liked this one it was really good, all the characters were quite interesting and even the side characters and stories were really cute. I think their romanced developed really well, especially with him finding out he liked her. I also think that although they definitely could’ve gone down the route of staying on the last backstory for much longer than they had, they didn’t. For me, it was the perfect amount of drama and balanced out overall cuteness. If they had gone down the route of staying on the drama for copious amounts of time that would’ve been difficult to watch, particularly because what happens to them was actually quite serious and what he experienced was indeed quite dark.

Don't expect much

It was fun at first, give me curious why secretary Kim has to quit her job. Her boss act like a Narcissus that I seem funny but after watch more episode it so light, the plot is easy to guest that the male lead is a rich guy and bad memories when he was kid and now he falls in love with his secretary and don't want to lose her but what he act toward her make me roll my eye, a lot of nonsense act, too predictable and so childish to be honest. The story telling make me bored and bored so I skip a LOT! and cannot finish this drama. Something doesn't feel right even supporting role. Unnatural and overacting is a word I gave to this drama.

Overrated!

Unfortunately, I stopped watching Secretary Kim in the middle of episode 6. Between the two similar dramas, I much prefer Business Proposal which was much funnier and faster paced. I didn't feel the chemistry between the two leads and story development was slow. Since there were no second leads in this drama, the whole drama needs the main leads characters to really develop.

I tend not to be able to relate to the rich guy/poor girl relationship. Can't imagine to be able to reserve the entire amusement park to woo a date.

The drama would be better if the drama just starts with Secretary Kim quit the company and the male lead tried to win her back. This kind of boss/employee romance can be considered sexual harassment nowadays.

Meh. Overrated.

I don't understand why viewers liked this show. Aside from the Female Lead is pretty and her clothes look really good, there's nothing really there. The Male Lead is far from being a narcissist. It's just a typical boy hates girl romcom. I tried my best to finish the series but I had to drop it. Sorry but it was a waste if time trying to appreciate it.

For 500 characters requirement:

The series revolves around the narcissistic Lee Young Joon, the vice president of a company run by his family. He is very self-absorbed and thinks highly of himself, so much that he barely acknowledges the people around him. Lee Young Joon has a capable and patient secretary Kim Mi So who has remained by his side and worked diligently for 9 years without any romantic involvement. However, Mi So now wants to set her life & focus on herself so when she decides to resign from her job, hilarious misunderstandings ensue. After 9 years of their strictly-workplace relationship, can it now develop in something more?

I hated this drama with all my self. I was shocked about how many good reviews this drama had, so I decided to give it a chance since it was everywhere on the internet. I wasn't able to see it after the 6th episode. The cast is really good. but the story is the same as many others (the rich lead, the beautiful woman, a lot of money and a dark past), nothing new or intriguing. With a similar cast, they would probably make a way better storyline than a bunch of yet seen things...
Absolutely, for me, isn't worth the time...

If you like romantic comedies, you might like this drama. If you don't, don't even try to watch it.

The case is that I DO love romantic comedies and, maybe it's because I haven't watched that many kdramas and the cliches don't bother me that much, but I really enjoyed this.

It was fun, fluffy, cheesy, full of cliches and way over the top and I loved every single minute of it. The plot is really light and simple (even though they try to throw some "mystery" plot that isn't that mysterious), the acting is great, the chemistry between Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young is amazing (I love the bickering between their characters) and the whole cast have great comedic timing (Kang Ki Young really shines in that aspect).

As I said, I enjoyed it a lot and I had a smile on my face through the whole drama and I value that.
If you want to have a good time, enjoy some romance, laugh a little and not think too much: this is your drama. If you're looking for something that's not that... maybe look elsewhere.

What's Wrong With Secretary Kim was such a sparkling gem during my free time this summer. I'd call this drama a "manga adaptation done right."

Maybe I'm a bit generous with the 10-star rating, but I loved this from the beginning to the end. I'm a huge fan of rom-coms and good stories, and even though the plot of this series is not that unique, I think the characters and the side stories made this drama so much more enjoyable. The story was also fast paced, just like in the original manhwa. Some parts were cheesy and predictable, but made the drama very cutesy and even more delightful. I gotta give it to the actors because without them this show wouldn't be the same. Just like in every drama that he stars in, Park Seo Joon steals the spotlight with his brilliant acting and overflowing handsomeness. Even Park Min Young was the star of this drama - such a beautiful actress, this was THE BEST ROLE for her to play. There were just so many brilliant scenes that I could rewatch again and again. I relive this drama by listening to the OST as well - the songs are mesmerizing and really catchy.

I'm extremely happy that I decided to watch this drama and I'm sure that you'll feel the same after completing it. I might just have to read the original comic book now too because I still can't get over it!

sweet Rom com

going with with the genre this drama is completely sweet and smooth.
both ceo and his secretary characters are dealt with detailed flow.
like any other rom com drama major story ends with 12 episodes and gets streched till 16 episodes but the chemistry and setting will allow u to enjoy the drama till the end.
production value lead couple chemistry and ost are major highlights of this drama.
there is few lags in some episodes but u will not care about them if u know about genre setting so if u want to watch a light drama with romance and comedy with emotions in flow this drama will reach ur expectations.

'What's Wrong with Secretary Kim' is definitely the kind of drama you don't watch if you're looking for a fulfilling plot/story with proper suspense and climax. Instead, I found this drama to be highly relaxing -- I never once felt bored with the drama. Just as you start thinking that the story is becoming to serious/cringey/whatever, it switches over to talk about the other characters. The characters don't get very far in terms of character development -- the drama itself is a very simple rom-com, but I ended up falling in love with the main leads, as well as all the side characters! (Though, the older brother was a bit of a miscast, in my opinion -- it was probably the only time I felt un-engaged while watching) After finishing this drama, I get the same feeling I do when I finish reading something like a fairy tale -- things happen, things get solved, and they live happily ever after!

Rather than watching this for plot/character development/etc, I would suggest watching this with just a light heart -- enjoy the comedic and lovely moments between the characters, laugh at how extremely cringey some of the lines are, enjoy the great acting that Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young put on, look at all the pretty clothes PMY wears, and just smile!

The perfect drama for the summer!

Park Seo Joon + Park Min Young = DA BOMB!

As a newbie in K-drama world and often asked for a suggestions from my friends before deciding which to watch, What's Wrong With Secretary Kim is the one a lot of my friends suggested me to watch. They said #WWWSK is very good because it has PSJ and PMY as the main casts and the storyline is simple but touching.

After done watching, I have to agree to my friends because the combination of PSJ and PMY is seriously a bomb! I can see that both PSJ and PMY's actings are superb! I have no question why every year they're always on tv. They're just that good! Hats off!

The storyline is very simple, I can tell that I can guess what will happen within the drama just from its title. #WWWSK serves us the love story between a cold, evil on the outside but angel on the inside and self-made CEO who is having a traumatic and hard time in his past with his innocent, nothing to lose and very pretty secretary. They have been working together for years until they finally develop a feeling toward each other.

You guys can guess the ending right? Happy ending is on our plates. Yay!

this is a super fun drama....

What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim is a romantic comedy about the narcissistic vice president (Park Seo Joon) of a large corporation who learns his long time devoted secretary (Park Min Young) of nine years is going to quit her job.
Park Seo Joon plays Lee Young Joon who is the vice president of his family’s company.  He’s very narcissistic and doesn’t miss an opportunity to give himself some praise. Things are going along just fine for him until his world is completely turned upside down when his secretary decides to quit.
Park Min Young is his devoted secretary Kim Mi So. She is amazing at her job and is always ready and waiting to meet Young Joon’s needs. That is until she decides she wants a change and gives him her resignation.
What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim seems like it has been everyone’s favorite drama over the past few months. It brought in all kinds of nice ratings and was also a hit with international fans. The love for the drama was evident.
Now I didn’t fall head over heels for the drama like so many did, but I still liked it. It had a few issues for me, but overall I found it pretty enjoyable. First, onto what there is to love!
Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young are quite a treat as a couple. Their pluses are many and include a wonderful rapport between the pair. Their snappy bickering was humorous as was their awkwardness in navigating the change in their relationship.
I think many people will also enjoy Young Joon’s character. At first, he seems like your typical arrogant rich chaebol, but he has some quirks that help with that. He is so narcissistic in an over the top way that makes him immediately humorous. And he’s actually got a pretty pleasant personality that is easy to warm up to. If you don’t like those typical jerk leads who need a lesson in learning how to behave, Young Joon is a great alternative.
There are some hilarious supporting characters. This is a drama where these characters add so much humor and don’t just feel like filler. You get to know these people at the office and enjoy their interactions, troubles, and romances.
Then we had a pretty interesting tonal shift around the middle of the drama. We have a little mystery to slowly peel back concerning Young Joon and Mi So’s childhoods. The plot thickens as we learn more back story and have some difficult issues for our characters to deal with. So that added a nice layer to the plot that I really appreciated.

So despite the issues for me, What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim was a mostly fun watch. It checks the right boxes for a solid romantic comedy. We have a lovely couple at the center of the story, a little something extra to add to the plot, and a nice cast of supporting characters. All in all, there’s a lot to enjoy, especially for romantic comedy fans.

I really enjoyed this romantic comedy, drama and what a critical secret! I laugh so hard at some of the scenes, I cried at some of the scenes and was very glad that a fatal attraction female was not intervening with the two main characters like most dramas that I have viewed. The two main leads, I applaud you, what romantic chemistry with each other. Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young were fantastic! I give this a 10 because this drama succeeded in bringing out all of my emotions. Thank you, writers, producers, and the rest of the cast. Another awareness in this storyline which is when a child sees death in front of their eyes can be devastating and memories can linger on with PTSD until their demise. This brought me to heavy tears! It also taught me that even someone close to a child that is kidnapped that they go through some traumatic mental issues. Oh my gosh, that was a deep storyline! The other thing I am so glad about is that they hid the suicide scene, I wished they would've shown the woman just climbing onto the chair and not the rope. I hope KDramas, ChineseDramas, and other dramas would stop using suicide to solve one's problem. The suicide rate is high in the USA, China, Europe, and other continents!
