Coffee and Romance. What more could you ask for?
A cute romantic show about a couple who doesn’t fit together at first glance. As the shows moves through its paces you will smile as you see love bloom against all odds. Their relationship wasn’t the normal one you see every day but it will make you believe that all things are possible. The acting was fantastic. I enjoyed all the side stories and their actors. Watch this drama when you want to enjoy a show that makes you feel good. No pressure just full on enjoyment. The romance was great from beginning to end. There wasn’t smokey chemistry but there was an undeniable connection between the main leads that grew each episode. It was fun to watch. Don’t miss this one.

The acting is fantastic- in fact this is the third drama to bring me to the brink of tears (Can you guess which drama made me cry first?)
Our leading couple are the cutest! I couldn't get enough of them. Go Eun Chan (Yoon Eun Hye) is loud, stubborn, independent, and hard-working. A very focused person since she doesn't get swayed too easy from her principles and goals. An almost typical heroine except for her sensitive nature and HUGE APPETITE! Overall, I think the actress performed fantastically! I totally adore Go Eun Chan!
Choi Han Kyul (Gong Yoo) is passionate and kind-hearted- I think he is one of my favorite leading male characters. He is full of surprises! Just as one of the characters mentioned, He looks all cool and arrogant on the outside but he really is an adorable, awkward teddy-bear on the inside. He reminds me of Shang from the Disney movie Mulan. (Oh my god, he and Go Eun Chan are the k-drama version of Shang and Mulan)
Anyways...
The artsy supporting couple are so lovable. I'm envious of Choi Han Seong and Han Yoo Joo's relationship- that is how brilliant their acting was. Personally, I love Han Yoo Joo since I can relate to her 90% of the time and she knows how to keep her cool and joke around.
Nothing in Coffee Prince really bothered me, except the grandmother's reaction when she found out that Eun Chan is a girl. Also, I know I praised Han Kyul earlier but when things where rough between him and Eun Chan, he got really abusive. Verbal abuse isn't new in Korean drama but Han Kyul went over-board so many times, I almost hated him.
Also, I'm really glad that Choi Han Kyul and Go Eun Chan didn't rush into marriage. That was only one of the few things Jin Ha Rim (the nosy one) said that I agreed with.
Overall, The characters are all lovable despite their flaws and despite how old the drama is, it is still relevant and enjoyable.

If you're into good story telling, a catchy soundtrack, and gender-bender dramas with two handsome leads then this drama is for you!
I've watched it about four times and it gets better because it's so easy to emotionally connect with the intricate characters. It also has this laid-back summer vibe.
The soundtrack is so memorable it still rings in my ear till' this day. And there are plenty of romantic moments which I absolutely adore.
What I enjoyed the most was the growth of each character as a person and how they didn't just focus on the main leads. Everyone in the story had their moments.
I will probably watch it again down the road, cause' I love it.

There is so much I can say about this amazing show. I laughed, cried, screamed and loved every second. The story is adorable, heartwarming and phenomenal at the same time. All the actors are fantastic and have amazing chemistry, the music in the show is beautiful (I found myself frequently listening to it after). I appreciate every part of this show. I thought it was well paced, and it has the happy ending everyone is looking for with a story like Coffee Prince.
I recommend this to anyone, Anyone!! My Favorite KDrama by far, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. (The attractive actors don't hurt either)

I gave the story a 6 because I do enjoy gender benders; this score is solely based on this plot of the story. To begin with, gender benders, aren't a new concept, neither are romances though. The way this story was carried out however, makes the gender bender aspect give meaning to this romance. The way they deal with it is the thing that sets this drama apart from the rest. I started watching this drama because I enjoyed watching Yoon Eun Hye from the variety show XMan (not Xmen). As expected, she was just as cute in this show. Some of the reviews state that she couldn't pass for a a boy. I, however, found her to be as believable as I think a girl could be while trying to pass for a boy. I actually could see how someone could mistake her for a boy. I liked that she didn't overact with overly masculine cheesy poses or by trying to deepen her voice, but used subtle movements instead. Although she did pass for a boy, I have to admit she looked like a young boy, which kind of made the romance brotherly, for lack of a better term - don't get me wrong, they're very cute together, they have plenty of "aww xD" moments, and I watched the entire show just for them.
Early on in the show, the chemistry between the two was apparent. I tried not to like the main guy (I'm not sure if it's obvious or would be a spoiler to name names so I'm just leaving it anonymous) because of what his character is like in the first episode, but he has a smile that is very difficult to not fall for - the guy has looks, you wouldn't be able to tell that from the pic they post of him on here, but he is GOOD LOOKING. I stopped watching for a little bit after the first 3 or 4 episodes because, while they do have a cute chemistry, it starts off pretty slowly and they add too much of the side romance of characters who seem grossly unappealing to me. One of those couples changes my view of them later and turns cute.
When I began to re-watch the show it began to pick up speed (you can tell by how often you think you see the Hulu commercials). There were still the parts with the side couples that I hated though. I really wanted to see the main couple; I'm not sure if that's good or bad. Anyways, the actors weren't bad actors; in fact, they were all believable. The best actor was the lead guy. His tears were my favorite moment in the show and what made the difference between giving this show a 1 and a 10. As you can see, I gave it a 7 overall because of his acting that made it so believable that he loved the main character so much. Even the sister was an amazing actor who turned what could be an annoying character into a clever and entertaining one. Also, in dramas, I hate when they pretend to be poor but their clothes and hair, etc... don't match. This drama was very believable from that point of view, right down to the make-up. The only negative thing I can comment on is YEH when she cries. She's cute and believable in everything but this aspect.
The show had one of the best, if not the best, romantic moments I've seen. I mean the dude really loved her to the point of tears. I would have given the show a ten if it ended there. The show started off slowly though, half the show was about another romance, and the show dragged on for half the season, that's why I dropped the score to a 7. In addition, the writers start to make you hate YEH by changing her character completely from its adorable innocence to a gold digging, selfish person. I don't think they meant to make her and anti-hero though. I could have dropped the score more but that one moment was too great to deserve any less and the reason I continued to watch for 7 more episodes.
I don't like re-watching shows, but I recommend watching this if you have the patience to watch through the side love stories, the first 4 or 5 episodes and the last half of the show. That seems like a lot now that I read it, but I didn't regret watching it. I think you can get by watching the first... I think 10 episodes, just till that moment without having to watch the rest. It actually brought me to tears. I liked that it was a new way of looking at these gender benders.
The music didn't really stick in my head. I can see what they were going for and it was fitting I guess. It just didn't stick in my head for days like the Secret Garden OST.
