It was okay and had its cute moments
I had dropped this and picked it back up just as filler or a drama I play in the background while working.Lin Yi acting is always a slow burn vibe and comes off boring to me. Dont get me wrong, its just my opinion. The drama itself was just okay and it had its cute moments.
I can say the ending was good as I always like to see their progress in life.

People are addited to stress
OKay, you do feel like the story dynamic changes once they start dating. A lot of their problems seem unimportant now, but from friends trying to figure out they like each other to bf/gf the flow is well done. And people claiming that them being in a relationship ruins the show cause there isn't any more drama must have high cortisol levels with their drama addiction, all they want is stress and tension. A very cute drama!
I don't like dramas where the couple are way too much jealous of each other, they break up and get back together all the time or there are always big misunderstandings that take too long to get resolved. This was exactly what this drama didn't have and that's why I loved it. It perfectly portraits a first relationship where people don't know how to handle situations and are hesitating to act. It showed how two people who are different can start having feelings for each other after living together and knowing each other. I liked how warm and cozy this drama felt to me. I absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting to see a cute relationship between two young people!Was this review helpful to you?
Fluffy drama with little plot
ML is the best! So sweet and absolutely no toxicity. FL is mostly likeable with her own ideas and career goals, although sometimes I got frustrated with her for being too stubborn.There is really not much story through the whole thing, and that may be a Pro to some viewers. But I think I needed a bit more to keep me engaged, and sometimes this drama lacked goals and direction.
Music was nothing special, mostly faded into the background.
I think there are many many cute scenes, but I'm not sure I would re-watch the drama because I wasn't fully sucked into the couple.
Overall, I don't regret watchin it as it was a nice little escape, but I don't think I was in the right mood for this one.

Refreshing to watch simple times
So, if you watch this after the new shows, you will realize this show is not that old but just feels like it was made in different times. For this genre of slow romance, just romance, the plot does its thing, but the "time in life" setup of hair, makeup, set, cast all is what feels right about this. There makeup was "normal". They are not glowing, thye are tired college students and have skin texture and repeat of their wardrobe. It's definitely polished for college experience can be like, but thats not this genre's job.The acting probbably mostly good, sometimes flat, but I its not overexagerrating. The usual quirks exist where people move away from confusing and hard emotions very fast by the next scene. Characters are super dynamic but its a easy watch. It's not a page turner, which is what I needed. It has "page turner" small moments, but you can pace it. TLDR - No villains, chill romance, some annoying characters, happy ending.

The show is good don't get me wrong, fluffy hearted romance,But after a few episodes it got SO draggy!
By the time the couple is together there's no plot at all, I even putted this show on hold for almost 3-4 weeks! That's how boring it got. There was no plot after the couple got together. NONE! Maybe some mix up's here and their but that's it!
Acting wasn't anything special. Maybe cause I haven't watched this in a couple of months that I forgot.
Music? Nothing special either. Just faded into the background.
I've probably never re watch this show again unless im doing my homework and I just want something in the background, I think that proves how un rewatchable this is.
In all, the main couple is sweet and cute, but there's no plot AFTER they get together.

I really loved the cast, and the story was good. The storyline wasn't frustrating and it was watchable. Basically, the show was pretty good, nothing showstopping and spectacular, but it was good. I really enjoyed this, and the one reason why I started to like the actor of situ mo, Xing Fei! She's such a cute character! And Gu Weiyi is just hilarious in the different things they do in the drama together!

Turn your brain off and enjoy a cliche but sometimes creative rom-com
This show is great in a lot ways with the first and foremost being that once the main leads get together they don’t have a dramatic misunderstanding and breakup. It was also pretty relatable overall for two college students navigating love and their first romantic relationship. It was super cute watching Gu Wei Yi search up how to woo a girl and later researching sex so that it’s better than their fail of a first time - which again, super cute and relatable. I have watched shows with Lin Yi before and he grows on me more and more each show. His acting is kind of like Miles Wei where you don’t really consider the skill of his acting at first because the roles are lowkey and the “same” ML vibe. But when I think about it, I do enjoy his acting a lot. Xing Fei also did a great job playing the chaotic cute Si Tu Mo. I appreciated that Momo was not just this 1D character. She was made to be silly, not so serious with friends, but when she was at work even at a job she didn’t like, she was smart and thrived. I liked that Tu Jie Er didn’t end up being some kind of romance rival even though they were in the past. I appreciated their work friendship. As for Xie Yu Yin [Gu Wei Yi's senior], I’m not sure if it was the script or the acting, I just didn’t get her character. I did like that her crush was relatively harmless overall, but it just felt a bit stilted in terms of her clearly pining for a taken man. It made sense for before the relationship happened, but it was so weird to watch her be in his space as a taken man. I will say, it gets a pass more for how well they wrote Gu Wei Yi brushing her off. As I think on it, I guess she was there to play a jealousy card for Momo since Momo had a "situationship" with Fu Pei for so long. Anyways, all of that was better executed than the very unnecessary character Anna in Germany lmao. The show would have been stronger without using a red herring misunderstanding breakup.The main drawback of this show was Fu Pei & Wang Shan. Wang Shan as a character I actually really liked. And even Fu Pei, I hated him, but by the end of the show, I didn’t mind him. However, the romance between the two felt absolutely failing. I usually feel it might be a subtitle translation issue, but I don’t think that is the case here. I think Fu Pei was truly too fickle of a character. He was literally yearning for Momo for so long but then suddenly is in love with Wang Shan? And we are supposed to just believe it because he said it? I don’t feel like he showed his romance at all. I think they thought him studying with her all the time instead of playing basketball was supposed to show his devotion, but it really didn’t. Plus, in the end, what exactly is his start up? And I just didn’t like his script. It really felt like he just likes how useful Wang Shan is in his life rather than romantic love.

The characters are very bubbly and fun.I liked the characters i will happily rewatch this show again and any future seasons if it gets more
i like how the main male lead will go out of his way to research things concerning the main female lead. the main couple is cute together and the 2nd couple does a good job also developing with the 1st pair
i dont like the length much to short needs more episodes and seasons the music isnt bad not good but considering music wasnt a big point in the show that can get a pass

Put a smile on my face
Things I loved1 The FL. She's a good actress and she plays cute well. I've discarded a lot of series lately because of the forced cuteness of some actresses but here it feels natural and she is portraying the cute and adorable girl quite well. I also loved her character. She's smart and funny and a good person.
2 The ML. I thought I wouldn't like him at first and that the 2ML was better but he won me over and he's become one of my favorites now. He portrayed his character truly well and he was believable as the nerd who slowly falls in love. I loved their chemistry and their couple.
3 The no angst. I loved that it was fluffy most of the times and gave me reasons to smile. I love lighthearted series and it certainly fits the genre.
2 The parents. I liked how they interacted with the children. It was refreshing to see parents who don't stress their children and there were quite a few funny moments I adored.
3 The professor and the relationship between the students d especially the Ml and him.
4 The jealousy scenes. Whether it was im who was jealous or her, it was funny, lighthearted, perfect.

I know I might exaggerate, since I´m just at episode 8. But it´s been a long time since I´ve seen such a chinese quality drama. The story line is so far really cute and not cringy or bad at all! I´d even say that it is my favorite chinese drama beside ´´Ashes of Love´´. Of course one cannot compare those dramas, but ´´Put your head on my shoulder´´ doesn´t have this mainstream characters almost every chinese dramas have.
The main girl is THANK GOD not cringy, loud, noisy or annoying at all, she is actually a typical girl who had her first big love for the wrong guy.
I also like the male protagonist, of course he is a bit mainstream in the beginning. I mean he is the typical cold, handsome guy who is not that social and nevertheless pretty good in school. But his character development is really awesome. One can see that he opens himself every episode a bit more, because of the female protagonist.
What I also adore is that he really doesn´t try to force her to like him, he really waits for her and let her process her feelings for the other guy.
The music is something I don´t really pay attention to, but it seems like it fits to every single scene so I have nothing to criticize. It is nothing special :)
The acting is great.I did not expect such ´´natural´´ acting skills. It seems like the actors and actresses are really in their role and they play the story as if it´d be real. The acting is so good that I feel the pain, happiness and sadness through every gesture etc. they make. The chemistry between the female and male main character is perfect. They really fit to each other.
All in all I would definitely recommend this drama. NOT CRINGY AT ALL! Chemistry on point and very sweet story. I would watch it again and again. It is definitely worth it guys!
