The series kicks off with Si Tu Mo, a cheerful and slightly clumsy accounting student, who is struggling with her future career choices. Pleasantly Surprised

I was hesitant to watch this drama fearing it might be another rinse and repeat youth drama but it surprised me. It really wasn't like that at all. I found most of this drama very much enjoyable. I love the ML's bouts of subtle and not so subtle jealousy. There are a fair bit of laugh out loud moments as well. The only negative I have is that it became a bit slow in last 4-5 episodes making rewatching a bit questionable.

Overall though the drama is very sweet and the characters are lovable.

Would recommend.

Sweet and calm

This is a very sweet and relaxing drama. No breakups and no misunderstandings.
I really like xing fei as an actress, she can be serious and comical at the same time.
Even though the ML is a geek/scientist type of guy he realizes his feelings immediately and is there for her when she needs it.
The FL is not the typical pretty-but-silly. She is witty and independent.
The music was nothing special for me but it fit the drama well.
I would definitely recommend this drama if you are into sweet and funny love.

Put your heads on my shoulder is a cute, light and fluffy drama. I really wanted to watch something light with less melodrama and more cuteness. and this drama was absolutely perfect as that I want. This Drama has a cute, slow burn love and is not at all heartbreaking or emotional kind of thing.

In this drama, Si tu mo who is the main female lead had a crush on fu pei since high school and she want to be forever with him and she thought that they both will get together in their college. But, things didn't went as planned. Fu pei is shown as a person who didn't accept his feelings and thus thinks that no one like him or he pretends to be not liked by anyone. So, every time he ignores si tu mo's feelings, but destiny had something else for si tu mo when on the first day of college Fu pei and si tu mo's bike accidentally hit Gu Wei yi' s bike and In between this, Si tu mo and GU Wei yi's bags got exchanged and that was the turn in their life.

Many things happened in this drama but on the more lighter note. This drama shows a beautiful element of friendship and how its so strong throughout the whole drama.

Si tu mo's character is more on a cuter and childish type while Gu Wei yi is more serious in life. There is a slow burning romance happening between both of them and its so adorable to see how they both felt jealous and fights at the silliest things. I think the last episode was rushed but it was fulfilling as I really wanted to see what would have happened next in their lives.

Watch this drama if you like :-
~ cute and childish female character
~ slow burning romance
~ a tinge of jealousy and silly fights
~ school or college life things
~ cute dorm rooms
~ pure and innocent love
~ a cute, fluffy and light drama overall

Fresh & Cute!

So if you are looking for a light hearted, bubbly, funny and immense chemistry drama then this is for you! It's like a comfort drama.

There is not much going on, a slice of life with romcom which you can watch easily. The plot doesn't have much, however, it is enough to get you hooked.

My favourite thing from this drama is the character of Gu Wei Yi. He's smart, intelligent, caring, loyal and most importantly, selfless. His love for Si Tu Mo is so strong and remains consistent throughout the drama. This man is head over heels for the FL and is ready to fight with anyone who comes in his way of pursuing her. His character is so beautifully written. Lin Yi did a great job portraying him and I don't think anyone could do justice to the character as much as him.

For Si Tu Mo, she's not like the naive FLs. She is smart, outgoing, knows what do in life and her personality doesn't revolves around the ML. She falls in love later but when she does, it's beautiful. Xing Fei was great as Si Tu Mo!

The story doesn't have anything extraordinary. It's just how they start living together, then Gu Wei Yi pursuing Si Tu Mo, and how they got together. But when they get together, it becomes so fluffy that you will find yourself kicking your feet in the air lol.

Another most laughable thing is the BG voices. Dog sounds are used for Gu Wei Yi and cat sounds for Si Tu Mo. It just makes the drama so much more funny!

Overall, if you want to watch something that can make you laugh and has some good romantic scenes, This is for you!

I really love this show! I love the leads but the second male lead is kinda irritating like he likes mo mo but doesn't even want commitment but gets angry when she started to hangout with another guy but overall, I think this is great. The writer may be the same with ALSB but this show somehow different in its own way and I prefer this because the female lead is not a typical chinese character lmao. This drama and Accidentally in love are the best cdramas for me lol. Btw, do they have high ratings in china?

This is a companion drama to A Love So Beautiful which was also the reason why I watched this drama. ALSB and PYHOMS share the same author and both were adapted from novels. I was curious on how this plays out which started and revolved around their college life.

STORY:
The story starts with Si Tu Mo (Fair Xing) is in a dilemma as to how to live her life after graduation as she crosses paths with Gu Wei Yi (Lin Yi) who is an indifferent, serious, physics major trying to get on with his studies. They meet when STM's mother suggested for her to rent an apartment being owned by her bestfriend not knowing that GWY is the son of that bestfriend. They then start their cohabitation when they found out that they were room mates. Fu Pei (Daddi Tang) is added to the mix as STM's unrequited love who leaves her hanging and gives her hope by treating her well as a friend. Just when STM finally realizes to let go of that love, FP then goes and disrupts her life. I don't entirely know if it's due to possession and the fact that she doesn't see him in the light anymore or he really does like her. I believe that he really does like her but for me that is too late. It is quite pathetic how he goes after her after everything she endured when STM hoped he would like her that way but I guess that's how love works. You'll never know what you've got til it's gone. STM and GWY had chemistry that's for sure and ALSB is a bit lighter in terms of story than PYHOMS. The parents were supportive which I really liked. I didn't like unecessary additions to the plot where the mothers were constantly not liking their son's/daughter's partners because that would've been too cliché. The Germany part of the story is more of a filler to turn their relationship around and errr the kiss scenes are sometimes awkward so I don't know how to feel about that but all in all I'm glad they wrapped it up with them having their own family while still living in the apartment where they met.

ACTING/CAST:
I really don't have anything bad to say with the cast since they had the chemistry needed for the story. The chemistry was there but the kiss scenes were awkward that was all I have to say

MUSIC:
Music is a big factor for me but unfortunately, this drama's OST didn't stick at all.

REWATCH VALUE:
Maybe I'll re-watch this if I don't have anything to watch. Maybe I'll watch this and just play this in the background for fun.

Boring and cringe

The reason i started watching it was good reviews , throughout. I have watched a dizen or even more c dramas and this one is the worst of them all. The story is too boring, cringe and cliche. The characters are good specially the male lead, but the intertwining between the male lead and female lead is too boring. They do not have proper communications. Only the effection from male lead is shown until end . The female lead is suspicious and annoying for no reason.

There is one and only one point i like for this drama , is for its positivity. Despite for few small misunderstanding the story is quite happy go lucky kind of. But definitely it has been stretched to far extends . It could have easily wrapped on 10 episodes

This is just the FLUFFIEST series I have ever seen. I mean its so light-hearted and super sweet.

GU Wei Yi is every girl's dream. (Genius, tall and super handsome, puts alot of effort to make her happy, loyal and caring) Lucky Si Tu Mo for being his first love as he is basically just learning so everything he did was pure innocence awww.. I love everything about the story of college life and romance.

The acting is great, very natural especially Xing Fair. Luckily the drama isn't dubbed since I personally prefer subbed because I can't feel the emotions 100 percent when they are not the one talking.

Most importantly I really like realistic stories as I can relate to it. No doubt I am giving a 10 as everything is so satisfying from start to end. ❤❤❤

I loved!

I'm in love with this drama.
you know, there’s no point in going with a lot of expectations, because it will ruin your whole experience, no matter what series it is, and maybe that’s why people didn’t like this drama.
But anyway, this is what I think about the history:

things happen the way they should, there is no love triangle and I'm sure it will warm your heart.
The drama itself has nothing new, but it still captivates you and you surrender to it and end the series with a smile on your face.
She is very light and very fun, it is worth watching on a weekend, because she ends quickly.
The actors are incredible and everything is beautiful.
Anyway, I advise you to watch this if you want to have your heart warm.

My favorite drama to rewatch! I keep coming back for more.

I absolutely adore this drama! I’m about to watch Put Your Head on my Shoulder for the 5th time. When I need a drama that is uplifting and calming, this is one of two dramas that I return to watch.

First of all, I love the characters and the actors in their roles. Nobody is overly stupid, mean or dramatic. The roles seem very real and natural. The chemistry between characters is on point. It also nice to watch a drama where the parents are pretty awesome!

I love the story, the slow build, and the challenges they face. I love the clever dialogue, and some scenes I enjoy so much that I have watched them over and over. (The scenes involving the rumba are my favorite 😻)

I like the music so much I printed out the lyrics.
