I highly recommend this drama to those who would like to take a break from watching intense dramas. It's very light and I didn't get frustrated at all. I just love how loyal Gu Wei Yi's heart to Si Tu Mo's throughout the drama. I'm so into the main leads that I sometimes skipped Fu Pei-Wang Shan moments. (PS: Someone like Gu Wei Yi actually doesn't exist in real life? Hahaha)

Again, I don't write that many reviews unless it is worth to write. This is the second review that I have written since the drama that I had watched in the past, "All About My Mom."To me, I would totally recommend watching this drama because of the cast and how cute the couple is. I especially like watching the romantic and cute scenes that they have throughout the drama. Usually for dramas, I would skip some parts of the drama due to not being interested in the drama. However, for this drama, I rarely skipped any parts and watched the whole drama.
There are sound effects, the cat and dog sounds, that made the drama more interesting to watch and the reactions were super cute. Overall, I am really satisfied with this drama, and I not only support the couple in the drama but I am fan girling and wishing I would have a boyfriend like Lin Yi. Ughhh, he's so cute :)!

Truth to be said one of the simple and touching youth story, the acting cast is the best especially chemistry between Gu Wei Yi and Si Ti Mo, really best couple. The Ending is very very happy, yet one of the best because they got kid in the end which i hope more drama with happy ending coming up with, to bad the drama didn't contain any story line between the time they found out that they have kid.
Last but not Least, it contain special episode to cover up lost event in the episodes and after ending, which is what i like about, so they with not make audiences wonder how that they end after the happy ending, which said if you want to make happy ending do it until it really finish, good job the producer and script writer, the way you make every episodes with a easter egg maybe for me is new but really satisfying out curiosity of what happen in the loop of the story.
Must Watch, and Rewatch.

When it comes to those glorious times of University we often tend to remember the great time we had. These show not only captures what it is like to create friendships and memories that we last forever, but it also captures how love really happens. Opposites attract as they complement each other and is very visible as the FL and the ML go trough a roller coaster of emotions that make you wonder how can you find a guy like him. is very refreshing to see how the story develops in a true world without love triangles and how the ML expresses his feelings the only way he knows and what he does not know thanks Google for existing. The ML is down to earth like any girl with a great spirit. they both complement each other and together discover how to develop their own relation ship with their own terms. The parents are great too and every supporting character fits perfectly with the story line without going overboard or going bias or even doing crazy things that in the real world does not happen. Great show, Great Acting. Was this review helpful to you?

-Super cutie and bubbly-sweet innocence . Great kisses! You will hate the show if this is not your thing and Just leave now. This show was easy to watch and time drifts by. I really love the dog and cat sound effect they added in for the leads. It made me feel like they had their own communication world. There was not a moment I felt dragged down by extra filler drama because the couple were always interacting with each other. With Gu Wei Yi being so tall, it really added to his "manly" bits as he could pick her up xD No 2nd lead love interest- sure there are people there but I just don't care/see them having any effect on the leads.-I don't really like the plot description here. "She is confused about her future plans. She tries out all sorts of things all the time and is unable to make her own decisions." Thats not really true as she has already decided to switch her major from accounting to advertising and is looking for an internship in that field but is having issues as its not what she is studying. I would instead say that a childhood crush is holding her back from entering into her next stage of life. Her crush really brings her down but once she notices its just one-sided, she leaves it behind her. I have no idea what she is trying out all sorts of things- Like she dose not try other jobs or other interests. You also never see her struggle with a decision.
-Even thought they are in collage- about to graduate- this is more of a high school love than a mature love. For sure just like all the other "accidentally end up living together" dramas. I love those tho. For me, there is not a lot of growth. Gu Wei Yi learns about being in love(old book is funny)- its not that he is cold, he is very warm and thoughtful but his science brain leads to the wrong decision ex- she found out her work was taking her credit for an ad, she was upset about it and he ended up making it worse-he did fix it by that night. He has cutie- confessions even tho they are too smart for her- 2 notes + snowman fail- Also the way he grow up is different so he never thought to tell her about Germany until he knew he was going(we all knew he was anyways but he did not believe it). Si Tu Mo- with her past relationship she has problems with other girls around him but at the end she stand up for herself "I'm his girlfriend" instead of running away.
-Ending- 100% rushed but it is a good ending and is still them being cutie. We all knew he was going to Germany and I don't understand how Si Tu Mo had no idea his last test of the year was the deciding factor. He had decided to do this before they even meet and to be honest she should have been happy right away for him instead of upset over not knowing- its not like he was all set to go. I have no idea how long they have been together at that point other than many a semester? Them getting him ready is so cutie. Never once is it brought up what he is doing there and very little interaction of people from the plot there- Its crappy, English is bad. and I wanted to poke my eye out. She quits work- good for her but I wish they would have showed credit bring taken from her- as in leader is praised for her hard work- After that I'm left wondering what she is going to do for the rest of her life? Is she going to make more ads? Is she still friends with the actor.... or is she drooping everything to be a baby momma? She gets on a plane to see him- cool but not once did it show she could not do a visa herself but had to have him do it. Worst meet up ever, just Blah. Wedding is rushed over all as he never even asks her. I don't really like him just taking her there. Then they are home and have more cutie bits as a couple. I do not need to see them with a kid- its what 2 or 3? You only see that the kid is picking up their habits AND THEM STATING THERE AND SMILING..... forever. I know its the cut away scene but it started to get creepy. At lest have the parents huge each other in that mom/dady love pose lol And now I'm ranting.
-I would recommend this still! As for re-watching- for sure could watch them interacting but not the whole thing again.

I thought the boy was going to be cold and standoffish like most dramas, but once again I was surprised to find that wasn’t the case this time. He’s quiet but warm and is nice to the female lead. He is a precious science nerd and I love him with all my heart.
This is a scene to summarize their relationship:
They go grocery shopping together and Si Tu Mo has to rein him in on his expensive spending on machines
- Sale lady: “this robot can talk to you!”
- Gu Wei Yi: oooooh
- Si Tu Mo: “I can also talk to you, let’s go” XD
#married
But also Gu Wei Yi would do literally anything for her. You have to see how much time and effort he puts into things for Si Tu Mo. Even if he ain't good at something, he will take the time to do private lessons in order to woo her. We stan
On the whole, this show was just so simple and peaceful.
And my favourite scene of all time was their first kiss. It was so MAGICAL, I got goosebumps
I’m soooooooo glad I watched it, a 9 from me.

I haven't finished a drama (tried like three or four times but never got past a few episodes) for almost a year now, and this was such a great drama to get me out of my slump. I started watching it on a whim earlier this week and have finished it several days later. I was smiling throughout the entire show and will probably stay obsessed for the next few months!Right off the bat, the main couple is so friggin' adorable. I like that it took them a long time to get together and I'm really happy with all their cute moments and adorable height difference. I love their family with Circle and their little quarrels that make them look either like five year olds (*cough cough* watermelon eating contest) or an old married couple (arguing over getting a dishwasher). I do have to admit that I liked their romance a lot more before they were together. There was a lot of anticipation of waiting for them to get together, but when they did, I found that they had more issues that never ended up getting resolved. It was always one of them being annoyed or angry with the other and them never properly dealing with the issue. Si Tu Mo started bothering me during the last five episodes, but nonetheless, one of my top OTPs for sure! I also really do like Fu Pei and Shan Shan, and sometimes felt their romance was better than the main couple (they actually talked through their issues and resolved them!!). I also do wish we got a proper wedding ceremony (everything that happened in Germany felt so rushed and i didn't like how they were pressured into settling down by their parents).
There are definitely some loose ends that I would've liked to see resolved (Senior's crush on Gu Wei Yi deserved some ending...she could've ended up with Zhou Lei, and that handsome celebrity guy never really got justice either).
I like the mini storylines also. Si Tu Mo's struggle with finding a job she feels content with. Si Tu Mo and Fu Pei's relationship. Gu Wei Yi standing up to Senior Lu and defending Fu Pei. The friendships were overall also very cute.
It was one of those dramas that I could not stop thinking about and got me all jittery when watching it. It definitely gives me Good Morning Call vibes (but with a ML with more character) and I'm gonna be recommending this drama to everyone for like the next year.
PLEASE GIVE US A SEASON 2!!!

Great FL - otherwise meh
It's been a long time since I've seen a drama with a female lead that I really enjoy as a person. No flailing, overly clumsy/stupid moments, copious amounts of self-pity, lacking self-esteem, etc., etc., etc. Instead, she knows what she wants and has a clear sense of self and, most importantly, boundaries (something that seems sorely lacking in dramaland). The other women in this drama are pretty cool too and have their own sense of self that isn't dependent on the men around them. Plus, I enjoy Xing Fe (Mo Mo) and her acting.Otherwise, the story and other characters are meh for me. I'll continue watching it because it's light-hearted and nice to play in the background while I'm doing other things. What's most unfortunate for me is the male lead's acting - if he were on par with Xing Fe, I'd be more invested.

I have never finished a romance Chinese drama but I have high hopes for this one.
1) The chemistry between Momo and Gu Wei Yi actually exists. I know, and it doesn't seem like the actors are trying to force the chemistry. As I am only 8 episodes in, there is no 'everyone falls for the main girl' AND LET ME TELL U I WAS SO DONE WITH THIS TROPE IN CHINESE DRAMAS. (a great reason as to why I never finish them). Also, the feelings so far have developed rather naturally. It isn't like 'ooh mysterious handsome man lays eyes on the clumsy girl and realises his love for her'. Again, another trope is seen in A LOT of East Asian dramas, I must say. If you enjoyed the Japanese movie LDK or the Korean drama 'Because this is my first life', this is a great drama to watch (please avoid Good Morning Call at all costs).
2) It is not dragged out. The pace has been relatively consistent and THERE are ONLY 24 EPISODES NOT 50. I've never finished Chinese dramas because they pace things out so long. What can be done in 30 episodes should not be dragged out into 50.
Also, so far its been a really nice drama? There is no 'oh I scraped my knee because my dog ate my homework' which I've seen a lot in Chinese dramas or petty competition between leading male characters (so far). Also, the characters are relatable. The character of the protagonists is very well portrayed in their actions and decisions. Whoever wrote/directed this, did a good job in supplementing the main plot.
Also, the characters have depth. The director uses film techniques like flashbacks that add substance to the characters and this is key. Not to mention, the humour is good and laughable. Also, I don't know what the rest of the drama would be like as there is only so much you can predict from the first 8 episodes, so my stance could change. This is why I haven't given it a 10 out of 10 but I highly recommend this drama.
