I enjoyed this series because it was mild-mannered and more adult than many rom-coms. People behaved within normal limits, which was a really nice change from the all-too-frequent stomping, hollering, obsessing, and borderline stalking. No one was particularly stupid (I abhor dingbat female roles) and friends were normal people. The parents were like actual parents (not weirdo screamers or schemers or utterly lacking in adult qualities, for the most part), the development of several relationships was quite believable and nice. Just nice. It was relaxing and pleasant to watch, and I recommend it if you are fed up with drama queens and stereotypes.

Ever since I watched A Love So Beautiful, I have a soft spot in my heart for Chinese dramas, so when I learned this drama was in the same universe as ALSB I was thrilled, and I watched since day 1, very single week. It gave me everything I was looking for when I started (except maybe some physical touch).

I feel this is a feel-good drama to binge on a weekend, specially if you're feeling down or just want to feel all fluffy. The story is well-paced an fun to watch. It's great seeing these characters going through their day-to-day and start being adults together. Another thing to note is that is sweet that the story is about a clueless math guy chasing a clueless Doraemon-obsessed girl.

The acting was good and natural, which is all you're looking for in a drama like this, and the chemistry was good between the main characters.

There is stuff I could nitpick about this drama, like secondary stories, or the excessive amount of innocence, but I think the good outweighs the bad.

Be prepared for the cutesy-fest!

"Our love is indestructible, but you are my soft spot." - Gu Weiyi

Agh, this show was so cute! If you're looking for a sweet and fun romantic drama/comedy this is the show for you. The main couple was so adorable and had such a stable relationship I couldn't help but always smile during their scenes. I really liked how they didn't rush into the relationship at full speed. They took their time and explored their friendship first, even though we high key knew Gu Weiyi was already head over heels for Situ Mo. I also really wanted to mention how although these characters were so different, they fit perfectly together. They didn't try to change the other person in any way. They embraced and loved each other's differences. The ending was so cute, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a light and happy show.

Honestly, I don't see what is so good about this show.

Ha. This drama was such a major waste of time. I didn't like the characters, the plot was literally non existent and the whole drama was soooo dragged out.

Okay first, the characters. I don't get why so many people love this drama, but Situ Mo (FL) was so irritating that I wanted to DIE. Like, how can she just demand that Gu Wei Yi (ML) understand her when she doesn't even talk about her problems?? Does she think he can read her mind?? I dislike her character to the point that my only lasting impressions are of her whining, being mean to Gu Wei Yi and eating 螺蛳粉. Gu Wei Yi was fine, but aside from being the ML, I feel that you can take him out of the whole drama and replace him with a scarecrow and the plot still won't affected (save all his unnecessary lab scenes). And don't even get my started on Fu Pei. Oh my gosh. If there is a prize for the most annoying character ever, it would be Fu Pei. I didn't like his personality, I didn't like his story. His scenes were irrelevant and boring I found myself skipping all of them towards the end.

This brings me to the second issue: the plot. I felt like the plot is completely non-existent. I didn't even know where this show was going half the time. What were the aims of this drama? What purpose did each episode serve? I honestly have (present tense) no clue. The whole story was flat and thinking back, I have ZERO recollection of characters speaking in the drama. The first thing I think about is Situ Mo's whiny face. Urg. I read in a review that "Gu Wei Yi's arc at the end was completely unnecessary" (or something like that) and I had to pause and think, what arc?

Which leads to the third point: the dragged out plot. This drama definitely did not need 24 episodes and I suffered through the entire thing just PRAYING that there would be some sort of miraculous twist at the end that would save the drama. Nope. I have very very little recollection about this show as I actually watched it half a year ago (I think??) But I do remember having high expectations for it, expectations that this show did not live up to .

Okay, so maybe I'm a bit prejudiced towards this show because of how much I detest Situ Mo, and although I've flamed it so much, I don't hate this drama, I just uh... strongly dislike it. It's literally all fluff and no substance and honestly? Whenever I watch dramas now, I watch it with the assurance that can never surpass Put Your Head On My Shoulder.

I have a weakness for co-habitation plots, as well as a number of other plot devices this story uses, so I enjoyed it quite a bit. I felt the first half was a bit stronger. They did a nice job of making us anticipate the couple getting together. Shortly before they get together, the show loses its momentum. It was still a lot of fun to watch, but it could have used more anticipation for the rest of the plot to make the satisfaction greater.

The characters are a lot of fun. I especially appreciate the strong female characters with their own goals, interests, needs, and boundaries, that are not put aside or compromised just for the sake of the male characters. I also like that it's a strangers-to-lovers story, not an enemies-to-lovers story. The male lead is initially disinterested in the female lead, but while he may be a bit impolite, he's never mean to her.

I will probably not rewatch the whole show, but I likely will rewatch some of the funnier scenes.

Came across this dram by my drama list of how wonderful it was. Decided to watch it right after I finished watching. Shuttle Love Millennium on Viki. Found , Put your head on my shoulder it on Dramacool and Kissasian.sh apart from YouTube. The transition to English was very good. The cuteness of this dram was so wonderful . Si Tu Mo at times was a little annoying. , but understandable. Gu Wei Yi was the perfect, nerd and good boyfriend. Enjoyed how there relationship grew but kind of funny how two adults act as if touching is a big deal. Like that Si Tu Mo wasn’t moved by the other girl who wanted his affection. Reminds me of Love 020 drama. OMG I laughed so hard when it failed the first time, and how Si TU Mo tied to explain it away, than he looked up how to do it, this part was a gemstone thrown in here. His plan to include her in his life was also great and the ending was a like a WOW. Loved it. A must watch.

Put Your Head on My Shoulder is a light cute bubbly college romance Chinese drama. The two leads: Si Tu Mo (an accounting student who aspires to be in advertising) and Gu Wei Yi (a geeky physics genius) were adorable together and had good chemistry. There romance was so cute and some of the scenes in this drama were hilarious. In my opinion, most of the characters in the drama were likeable except for Fu Pei and his dad. The storyline was not the most original but was good and simple. Overall, I would recommend this drama to anyone who is searching for a light romance to watch.

Recently it seems that the PRC has been focusing on "no drama" Dramas, and doing them VERY well. Le Coup de Foudre and Go Go Squid fit that mold, this one does even more. What I loved most about it was that the ML fell first and HARD, while the FL remained her own self even as she too reciprocated his feelings. It also helped that unlike the other two mentioned, there was no clumsy unsubtle "CHINA IS AWESOME IN EVERY WAY" propaganda stuffed into the storylines.

I literally could not stomach Master Devil Do Not Kiss Me, dropped it with revulsion after 1 episode, so this the first time I've watched Xing Fei for a whole Drama, and I was very impressed. Stupidly pretty AND a good actor - I hope she does more Dramas like this one.

Overhyped

I was hesitant to watch this drama but I decided to give it a try because I saw a lot of good reviews on it. However, I sorta regret it now. I felt like this drama was too overhyped for such an ok drama. The story felt very slow and draggy. It was good at first but as the story progressed I just felt like rushing to finish it to the point I skipped some parts. Not gonna lie, the pair did have good chemistry. But the storyline itself just felt really boring.

One, there wasn't enough drama/conflict between the main couple compared to other dramas. The whole entire time, it was just full of sweet moments and minor problems but it wasn't like other dramas where there may be some misunderstandings and then it leads to problems in their relationship but eventually works it out in the end. All of it was just full of cute moments that it just started to not become interesting. I feel if there was more drama then it would've made the story interesting. If you call their so-called "love triangle" a conflict, I don't count that because that love triangle eventually ended in the middle of the drama and wasn't even that interesting. I didn't really like the second couple. They were also boring. So many unnecessary scenes that I felt could've been a 16-episode drama instead.

And also, I guess this type of drama wasn't really my type where they start as good friends or awkward friends and later turn into love. I prefer couples that start off as enemies or hating each other and then turn into love which I find a lot more interesting.

Overall the drama felt really slow, draggy, and boring. The drama was overhyped.

STORY:
The plot follows your basic, this made the drama a lot more watchable because I wasn't constantly frustrated and think a lot with the characters and story. The story-line also progressed very smoothly but some of parts is not necessary. Its a typical asian drama with cohabitation but with a background of "college couple" so they didnt intend to put so much romantic scene but cute scene is point plus for this drama. Somehow, They dont need to drag the story.

ACTING/CAST:
The characters has their own color. All the female characters ( Si Tumo's friends) were really well done enough to play the role but unexpectedly the main male lead (Gu Wei Yi) is not good acting which is disturb me when watching his parts.

REWATCH VALUE:
I dont think I can rewatch it.

OVERALL:
Overall, this drama is too much for 24 episodes when they can wrapped it up to 16 episodes. Too much unnecessary scenes.

If you are looking for something simple, straightforward, romantic comedy with good chemistry between the characters. This is the drama to go for. Enjoy!

Few things I really enjoyed about this drama:
- Although its the typical smart cold male lead and not-so-smart female lead. The male lead is not arrogant, full of himself and cares for female lead. Female lead stands up for herself in complex situations.
- Simple plot line, basically here for the cute chemistry between the leads and the friendship.
- Yes there is a love triangle but does not overwhelm the relationship between the leads, resolved quickly and straight forward.
- Many cute moments

Love, love, love, love, comedy…love!

I started watching it because I read a lot of comments about it, and it was true, it is an amazing drama. It’s full of sweet moments, with a simple plot, just following the lives of Si Tu Mo and Gu Wei Yi who live accidentally together.

Their romantic lives are the center of this drama, and it is really cute watch a Gu Wei Yi doing stupid and crazy things for Mo Mo. Besides that, every Easter Egg scene is something super cool and I haven´t watched it in other drama. Also it had an extra episode!!

A very refreshing and emotional romance, without a third wheel that wants to ruin the leads’ romance, just they show how their love grows up. The way they fall in love in a slow and fast way at the same time is amazing. The series even shows how they had a baby- Truly sweet.

In the other hand there’s another couple,Fu Pei ans San Shan , but they didn't call my attention, because they were really forced in the trama, so...

Would I re-watch it? yeah, it truly has sweet scenes, but, not the whole drama again, just a few episodes with beautiful moments.
