This is gonna be one series that I would want to watch again & again.
Fluke is really convincing because when he cries it brings tears to my eyes too & I really don't cry easily.
Their acting is soo good that it will seem that you are just peeking on them. Every actor has an important role.
They have covered all the parts from the novel. I haven't cried seeing any series ever but I believe this is gonna be one such drama that's gonna make me cry no matter what.
So just gonna say you have to watch it at least one time no matter what because you don't know what you're missing.

This is my first ever review. There were times where I squealed like never before in my life due to all the sweetness, and there were also times where I was bawling my eyes out . The actors did an amazing job . I was never the type to watch mushy teary dramas but there was something pulling me in to continue watching until the end. Everyone was shipping the second couple so hard. I have to say, Win and Team stole my attention the entire time and everytime they're on screen, I get super excited! Just wish they had more screen time. I loved how the main couple develop more personality towards the end. The side characters were all relevant and added more fun to the show. I had difficulties looking for BL with good storyline after watching TT. But i think i found it with UWMA. However, i rated slightly low on rewatch value as I would not want to go through all the teary parts again. Was this review helpful to you?

Story the plot and twist is well executed and exceptional performance of fluke (never fail to be the best actor ) and ohm is natural. I love the series and looking forward for next.
The chemistry is natural its like a real life couple.
Deep emotions and sweet moments intact in the series.

Story 8.0/10This story starts with Korn and Intouch, a couple that made a promise to find each other in the next life before they were torn apart due to homophobia. About thirty years later, they are re-incarnated as Pharm and Dean. I found the concept of this story very interesting and I felt like the writers/producer executed it well. It touched on the issue of homophobia and how it can affect people which I enjoyed because I have not seen many series that discuss this. This story also touched on the affect of mental illness on individuals. Overall, I enjoyed the way it discussed very important themes and how well the story was written. The only issue I had with the story is that it felt a little bit scattered. We would get random scenes that did not tie in with one another at all like the scene where Korn's brother finds Intouch and him talking and smiles to himself. I thought we were getting the POV of Intouch and Korn so how were we able to see this from his brother's POV. This also happened with Intouch's friend where we saw it from his POV which also did not make sense.
Acting/Cast 7.5/10
I liked the cast of this show, and I saw the cast better themselves as the show progressed making it more enjoyable. I felt like Earth and Nine did an amazing job in their scenes, and they were always tugging on my heart strings. However, many of the other scenes in the beginning felt a little awkward to me, but by the end it got much better!

I don't think the soundtrack in UWMA is very significant in developing the plot and I only noticed it a few times: I found it nice during flashback scenes, but that is the only time I have really enjoyed the soundtrack. Other times, the soundtrack felt wrong. For example, in moments where the couples are laying in bed together and upbeat music plays, I felt like the soundtrack threw off the mood a bit for me.
Re-watch Value 6.0/10
I personally have only re-watched the scenes between Team and Win as well as the first episode because those were my favorite parts of the series. Other than that, there were not enough good scenes for me to want to re-watch the series.

A show that will make you feel like on a emotional roller coaster
I will always recommend this one drama to everyone. It’s the most iconic drama on earth. This was my first ever bl drama which was in 2020 and it’s one that would encourage you to continue watching. I’ve always loved this drama, it played everything so well like the hardships of being a gay person, not having people accept you, and overcoming all of the hardships because of your lover. I still remember myself bawling my eyes out because it was so sad and Fluke (Pharm) literally knows how to make you cry and he’s a really good cryer. I really loved winteams couple it was so cute and the chemistry was on top, I’m glad they have a side show which is between us also teams obsession with lays chips always made me laugh so hard that I think of a bag of lays chips were next to win team would definitely pick the lays chips. I really loved Manow’s character she was really funny especially when trying to be a stone, but it was good I could laugh after seeing really sad scenes. I really recommend this drama with all my heart and you will enjoy it too.Was this review helpful to you?

This drama is decent enough to watch when you are looking for something to watched. Definitely didn’t give me a wow factor of yes I want to rewatch it. STORY: I really enjoyed the back and forth between past (In & Korns) and present (Pharm & Deans). I like how they told their story between two couples. I really appreciate how the writer made sure to tell each couples story and not leaving their viewers any questions.
This drama gave me goosebumps just because of how unique it is. Even though, for me it is well paced drama and the number of episodes are just enough to tell their stories. However for whatever reason, I still felt like it was slow for me.
One of the things too, I wish they did is.. between Pharm and Dean I wish they had more development between their own characters. Because they really just showed they love each other because they’ve been looking for each other & they only love each other because they were reincarnated form of In and Korn..
CHARACTERS: definitely no complains, everyone was great here, good acting too. I enjoyed everyone’s characters.
ONE OF THE THINGS THAT I WISH THEY DID NOT DO is have Pharm cry all the time when he remembers things from the past. Honestly some scenes it was just too much, and it was overly exaggerating . Also, for honestly I was disappointed that when Dean and Pharm have their moments, Pharms face always looked like his in pain or his just not enjoying it. But that’s just me though...
MUSIC: LOVE LOVE THE songs for this drama. Very catchy and it suits the series very well.
Overall: this drama isn’t so bad, but is it one of the top BL dramas? No... this drama is good in its own way.
PS: DEFINITELY I SHIP WIN AND TEAM MORE THAN THE MAIN COUPLES I’m sorry but I had to say it. I can’t wait for their own series next year! I know their story is going to be more of my type of BL story series. I need more TEAMWIN!!!!!!!!!!!

Cringy boring cry fest
I dropped this like a hot rotten potato. It was just super boring and very cringy. I was going to rip out all of my hair and probably my eyeballs if Pharm cried one more time trauma or not, so the best solution for me was to drop this.You are suffering from “severe trauma” but instead of you to go to therapy and see a psychologist, you don’t, then what do you do, you cry and cry and cry incessantly, every f*cking ep. The tears were beyond ridiculous I stopped caring and didn’t give 2 f*cks how he and Dean turned out, hence the drop.
Dropped this so obviously the rewatch value is Zero but since that’s not an option 1/10 it is.
Overall is 1/10 also.
I definitely DO NOT recommend this cringy boring cry fest dubbed a series.

Nothing to look forward to
When first watching this it seems to have some potential. But any suspense or twists are quickly resolved or non-existent. The acting is only so-so in my mind; neither actors are very good at crying it seems, which is a huge part of this drama whenever they remember part of their past lives. I could appreciate Dean a little more than Pharm. I did not enjoy his actor much, and for all the times they were supposed to be growing closer, Pharm resisted far too much and either made Dean look pushy, or like Pharm wasn't into him. Maybe it was supposed to come off as cute, but it didn't work for me. Without much else going on in the plot, this drama is a lot of fluff between the two with what seems like no end-point, and I found it boring. I didn't finish this one.Was this review helpful to you?

So I read some review certainly far more critical than this one will be, and I think I'm probably far too generous with this particular show (which, in hindsight, makes me want to go back to others I rated and demolish them).While I particulary enjoyed the simplicity of the storyline, notably the absence of what I call the "side character one-sided lover/bitch" and the lack of "no, don't be gay, don't ruin your life for me"-pity arc, there was also severals problems.
First : some characters were introduced, obviously with some kind of story in mind, and just disappeared. I'm thinking of Alex, who obviously would have been a "one-sided lover/bitch" with a stalker potential... but wasn't and was never mentionned for several episods. His character have essentially no purpose, no raison d'être so... why ? (I mean, if it was to show that Pharm is a soft character who needs protection from the more "hard" Dean... well, it was already implied and unneeded by the fact that he suffers from several phobia).
Second : side characters like Team and Manaow, while more present in the storyline, don't get there story except at some point (I was quite shocked when Team goes to Win's place because of his insomnia like it's a common occurence... even thought I missed an episode). So, either don't mention it at all or give them a consistent storyline with enough appearances to back it up.
Third : it's probably a mix of cultural differences and what I feel are bad choices from the director but... everyone accept far too easily that Pharm and Dean are the reincarnation of Intouch and Korn . (I.E Pharm 's granpa/Korn's dad who immediately know where Pharm went without ever meeting him and knowing absolutely nothing about him and his history)
I won't go in too much detail about the screenwriting, cuz I didn't take notes while watching each episode and wasn't focus on that (also, it's been a while since I took film analysis in Uni). What I can say about it, because it jumped to my face... too much staring/kissing scenes who take too much times. We get it : they love each other, the emotions are intense... no need to ruin that by making us watch them feeling those for three to five minutes and bore us too death.
To be brief : quite good overall, in terms of story and acting, some problems wih the director's choices.
I probably won't rewatch it, not because I don't think it's bad, just because I won't feel the need. I will remember it as a good drama, and in the BL genra certainly as one of the best. You can say all you want about TharnType or Lovesick, which apparently are held to be la crème de la crème of BL by some, they're not that good and certainly not as much as UWMA. (Which says a lot about what standards scriptwriters and directors have to respect)

Empty, Emotionless, Personality-Less Love Interest
The Love Interest guy is simply an empty shell with no soul inside. The actor of that Love Interest is so so so bad.The Protagonist is amazing. I really saw emotions and reactions within him. However, this brought contrast of acting between the two leads to an even more obvious point. It presented how realistic and genuine Protagonist seems and how empty and emotionless the Love Interest seems.
Also, I think the problem is also that Love Interest has bad lines and zero personality, so he can't express himself fully, or at all.
In any case, I've watched a few amazing BL dramas recently and I have no patience for this low-quality production of cheap emotion and bad acting.
I think my main problem is really in the way the Love Interest is portrayed. I'd honestly just want to stay for Team and Win...

this is the most non toxic series I've been watching in my entire life but tbh, the side couple are more attractive than the main one. not their looks i mean because both couple are so damn hot.. but their acting and the way they communicate with each other are not boring compared to the main couple. and the reason why i dropped this series is because it getting boring and i only love to watch the side couple (but their scenes are not that a lot) but then i figured out the main couple have a conflict in the last episode which make it even worse. like hello??? why so late?? and i think rn i can even make a lot of thai desserts thank to this show LMAOO anyways this series is not that bad if u can handle it. but i can't i almost fall asleep in the middle of their cooking session.Was this review helpful to you?
