This 5th Takumi-kun film is probably my favorite out of all them so far. Daisuke and Hamao feel more realistic and comfortable with each other than they ever have, and it makes the movie much more pleasant to watch as you can feel the emotions they are giving off. Their acting may not be the best to ever feature in Japanese media, but this time around I think they've hit their peak.

It's the same old Takumi you love, only this time it was a little more fleshed out. It seems like the same old Takumi problems, but for some reason it was much more interesting to watch. The music was, as always, wonderful and well used at appropriate times.

The story wasn't the best this time around but Daisuke and Hamao's acting really did make up for it, in my opinion.

The one thing that always bothered me in this series, this one included, are the flashbacks. They are oftentimes refilmed and rarely are you given any clue that what you are watching is a flashback. They could definitely execute them much better.

Other than that, I will greatly miss Daisuke and Hamao in this series! They certainly grew from the 2nd to 5th movies and you can see it for yourselves in this great film.

out off the Takumi Kun series (altenativ name, used on youtube) this is my favorite, it really touches the heart. yes it is man x man otherwise known as Yaoi in japan but this series is really good and if you dont understand the gay relationship and how that sort of thing works than you should really watch it. and if youre already a understanding person and like the yaoi that you will love it.

I have to say that this isn't the best movie I've seen, yet I still rewatch it all the time.

The Takumi-kun movies are some of the better Boy Love films Japan has out so it's worth a watch.

Don't expect greatness, but if you're looking for love with some drama and a nice ending, here you go.

This last in the series really dealt with the issue Takumi first mentioned in episode one. It fleshed out his character and his relationship with Gii. It also dealt with a very tough subject, sexual abuse, and how effects are felt for years later and even affect other relationships. I loved how it ended with Gii promising to always be there for Takumi. No matter what or where he is. What a great romance these two have!! Sigh. I would say that the first episode (different actors though), the third, and the fifth are the best as they deal mostly with this pairing. Episodes two and four have other character stories that draw away from our main couple and almost act as stand alones.

I think the final part of this Japanese series was the most solid in terms of acting, and the story of the main character didn't bind so much anymore. The music was good as always and used sensitively where it should have been. Just a little thing - the creators didn't teach Takumi even the most basic thing about how to properly pull the bow on the strings when he "played the violin", but it's a minor thing. In this last volume, the yaoi elements clearly predominate (but only subtly) over the shonen-ai. I don't know why the creators changed the cast of both main heroes after the first part, on the contrary, I liked the actor Gii-a from the first part much more in terms of acting and appearance.
When I was preparing for this series, I wanted to read the reviews to prepare a little for the series. The only reviewer covered all five volumes but they gave me nothing at all, they are totally about nothing, to rate why he gave the sound sometimes 2 sometimes 3, they do not express themselves at all and the Japanese style of yaoi and shonen-ai manga that was made for a Japanese audience and not for a few scumbags from Central Europe, messing with fairy tales.

It was my first yaoi  series and this is the reason to make me a fajushi... Such a master piece... Amazing story line... Superb acting and heart warming music... A perfect package for those who believe love has no boundaries... Gii is symbol of protection and takumi is symbol of loyalty... You have to protect your loved one even if it means your losing and you have to be loyal to your love one even if you don't understand what they are thinking.... A boy who has human contact phobia since his childhood over come it for the person whom hr loved and a rich perfect guy who literally own the world stand beside his lover even when he himself is hurt and in trouble.... Love is a burden but your partner is the one who make it blessing for you... What an amazing series... My heart is filled so much love for humanity and if you are going to watch it please learn the things with them....
