After watching a lot of dramas with a lot of complicated twists and turns in its plot, I was looking for something light but sweet. And luckily, someone from MDL posted this on the feed and stumbled upon it.

Wasn't really expecting much from this drama because 1.) not really familiar with it 2.) not familiar also with jdrama that much, i have only watched a few so far 3.) i don't know the actors 4.) well, it only has 10.5 episodes. Can't really expect a lot from that.

It started quite okay. Honestly, I thought it was gonna be another "They kissed Again" adaptation. But it was somewhat different. The more I watched, the more I got hooked. The plot was light but not too light that it gets boring for the viewers. There was also enough cliches which is my guilty pleasures in dramas especially romcoms. And what surprised me the most is that, despite the age gap of the leads, I really liked their chemistry together (just a back story, not really fan of age gaps hehe. it's more of a personal preference).

I'm really thankful that I stumbled upon this drama. Really really nice. It brightened up my week :)

I guess now unto the next drama <3

Ok. Let me start by saying I loved the story. Loved the actors. It was super cute and well written. Now did I want to smack the lead actress a lot of times YES. Did I want to go thru the screen and hit her in the back of the head. YES. She was a bit frustrating. But I still love it all. I would watch it again and the music was great. The ending was super super cute. I loved how we know about everyone. The main male lead was great. I want to see more of his stuff. I liked how nothing was dragged on too long.

Músic was great
Actors were great
Rewatch yes
Would recommend 100%

Not enough to redeem the tired plot devices

Standard innocent girl and jerk guy. Girl falls for guy and dedicates her life to becoming a nurse and finding him. She goes to a nursing school that apparently churns out incompetent nurses that are unable to fulfill even simple duties. She gets a job. Guy is a doctor there. He calls her an idiot repeatedly. She loves him more for it.

Soon they are dating for reasons that are mostly unclear but basically she's nice to patients and is observant which comes in handy. Still guy appears to be in pain when he's with her and repeatedly calls her idiot.

There's a secondary romance between an incompetent guy from the same school as hero girl. It makes no sense, there's no chemistry and it adds nothing.

Girl goes away for a year which takes up five minutes, then they get married. He calls her an idiot during the wedding. Apparently its now a term of endearment though he still appears pained to even talk to her.

Yes, this is a common trope but if I didn't know better I'd say this is a satirical attempt to bring a merciful end to this archetype. But no, it's just not all that good.

As i am in a first week of quarantine I am looking for a different series, Korean show gets dark and complicated so navy times so I was checking out Japanese show.. not a fan due to some I’ve seen are lacking of emotions (maybe a cultural thing) anyway I saw this show with Satoh on it. Knowing him as Rorouni Kenshin I want to check out If he could do a different character, and boy! he’s surprisingly an amazing Sundere. The female lead is cute but I am taken aback on how young she looks compare to Sato. She have this typical Japanese female character, naive, clumsy, loud and got this confident stalker tendencies. I get second hand embarrassment but enjoy her sunny disposition in life. Character development is good and I like how Female Lead able to focus more on her career at the end.

Overall this series is your typical romantic comedy. Very funny and so romantic, Sato is such a heartrob. It’s A feel good show that you can easily watch over and over.

I honestly started watching out of boredom but found myself so damn ecstatic every week for an episode. The drama is addicting due to the entertaining characters and cute love story. Tendo’s character development from a rigid, unhappy man who only wants to help others to a smiling sweetheart full of love was breathtaking. Sakura was the perfect, hardworking female lead and their progression into this cute couple unable to live without one another was also adorable. I loved the way she grew into her character without changing. The actors did so well. I find myself falling for them in real life :’ 10/10 for the drama’s realistic approach.

A rom com

Its a sweet story of a devil doctor and hero cute nurse who tamed him.

Good points: Episode length is short; acting, production are good and story flow is smooth. There are good things to learn about life from this drama. The professional difficulties of doctors and nurses are also highlighted. Its a nice tribute to health professional showing how hard they work.

Bad point: Bit childish. I dont understand that why heroine always have to go abroad to study or do something. It has become a cliché in romance dramas.

Overall, a good drama.

Need a medical drama with fluffy love then add this to your watchlist

"Koi Wa Tsuzuku Yo Doko Made Mo" starts off with the meeting of our two characters Sakura Nanase and Tendo Kairi. Sakura instantly has a crush on the brilliant and apparently friendly doctor and sets her goal to become a nurse so that she can get closer to Kairi. After 5 years of wait she meets cardiologist Tendo Kairi. But his personality changed, it is way different, he's known as 'Devil' in the whole hospital. This was shocking for Sakura.
But Sakura Nanase actively pursues Kairi. The medical incidents provide a slice of life. Although the secondhand embarrassment upsets me little bit but lessenes as the story progressed. The co workers provide a friendly environment in the hospital. The interactions with the patients were satisfactory. You'll keep smiling through the journey of icy cold devil falling in love with our 'warrior'. The sweetness will make your tooth ache. The supporting cast did a decent job. Tendo Ryuko leaves a mark with her quirky character. Kisugi Koichi ,another cardiologist although had a crush on Sakura helped her throughout. You can witness how Kairi and Sakura finally falls in love and reciprocates afterwards. After stressful or unsatisfying dramas refresh yourself by watching this sweet, fluffy romantic medical dorama.

If you want romance with the mix of medical contents, this is one of the best out there!

I cannot believe how good this drama is! I just randomly watched this because it was trending in facebook and because I am a student nurse. Also, I was a sucker of Mischievous Kiss, It Started With a Kiss, and Playful Kiss, I was told that they were somehow similar to this one. And yes, similar to the part where in the female lead pursue the male lead. But this is in depth when it comes to medical contents. I learn a lot, as a nursing student. All medical dramas focused on doctors alone, but what I love most in this one is that they also focused on nurses. And how they conveyed that nurses does not work FOR doctors but nurses work WITH doctors.

Sato Takeru is the best! He suit the character. The female lead also. They have chemistry! So much kilig with this one!

It was so good that I finished watching it in one sitting. This is highly recommended!

I honestly loved this drama so much. I usually don't like to watch Japanese dramas but I saw a short clip on FB to decided to try it out. oh geez oh lordddd.....I LOVED THIS DRAMA SO MUCH!!!!!

The acting I have to say was exceptional. Parts where it needed to be serious was serious, parts that was supposed to be emotional made me cry and most importantly...........parts that were supposed to be cringe were cringe as heck but was the type of cringe that made me want to keep watching. The cringe that made me jump up and squeal like crazy. Luved that feeling so much :) Which is one of the main reasons I enjoyed this drama more than other japanese dramas bc other ones are way out of my level of cringe that I can't even watch it lmao. haaaahhah..........

The highlights were definitely the main leads. Nananse.......she honestly suited this role so well. A bubbly and kind nurse who falls for a cold devil, but kindhearted doctor. HAHAAHAH..........but they match each other so well. Tendo honestly nailed his role. I felt like he controlled the whole vibe of the drama. OMG.....especially the cringe scenes........he somehow makes it so......idk how to describe it (this is mainly bc of his incredibly sexy glare...hahaha). If I was to say it........it would be "spicy cringe". A cringe where you jump all over the place, squeal and scream but just wanna keep watching just like when you eat something deliciously spicy. Hahaha.........anyways. love this drama. definitely worth the watch #covoid19times

Overall:
I think that this drama is amazing. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to watch it. I loved the story and thought it was executed great from beginning to end.

Story:
At first, it was a little weird to think that she had been obsessed with him for soo long without knowing if he was married or had a girlfriend but I soon overlooked that with the rest of the story. She made a very big decision in her life, become a nurse, just because she had a crush on him after seeing him one time? This is what the drama is portraying at first but then it makes sure to explain that she became a nurse because of the feeling of helping from that one time that she help the older lady and also had a crush on the doctor.

Another negative would be that if you only watched the main episodes you think that some storylines where completely forgotten at times but many of those plots were handled in the extras. That said after a bit the extras basically focused solely on one and left the rest behind as well.
I liked that the drama did not take itself too seriously and I think that the comedy was on point. It also had great serious moments that were amazing and they blended together perfectly.

Characters:
I really liked Tendo sensei's Tsundere character. I was amazed to see him mad at the beginning and slowly soften to Sakura, who is really devoted to her work and seems like a sweet girl for sure. The side character was also fun to watch as lots of comedy came out from them. I loved it when the Koishikawa sensei thought that Nishi was in love with him and that whole debacle.

Acting/Cast:
TBH I started watching this drama because of Woz's actor being in it and now I am going to start Den-O because Tendo sensei's actor is the main lead of that. Since this is one of my first JDramas that are not Toku related, I did not know most of the cast from other works but I am glad I saw them here.

Music:
The theme song, in my opinion, was actually really good. I Love has been stuck in my mind since the first episode that I watched. The other songs used were also good in their own moments.

This is one of those rare dramas where the cast, their chemistry, the location and the OST all comes together to make a perfectly fluff filled rom com. Yes, the story has some points that aren't entirely believable, but then is any story based on 'love at first sight' truly rooted in reality? I watch dramas for a break from reality, so I suspended my imagination for 10 perfectly made episodes and thoroughly enjoyed this drama. And now I have a new favorite japanese actor (Takeru Satoh), and a new favorite japanese band. (Trust me, the OST is amazing and you have to check out other songs by them, like Pretender).
If you saw the poster and were immediately drawn to it, then stop contemplating and just watch the drama right now!!

If you liked dramas like Love in Tokyo, you will probably like this one, I loved the story, because I like when the man is tough and difficult to like people and the sweet and warm girl makes him change. I think the backstory of the male protagonist is amazing, his personality and story are perfect matched, now about the female one, I just think the story was a bit poor if compared to the male one, because she just love him because of a preconception of him, she doesn't know him at all, and she continue to humiliate herself to get to him, this just always bothers me in the japanese dramas like this, in the most part the woman just have an huge love for the male for no reason at all, it is too shallow I guess, but when things start to work between they, it just turn out to be amazing and very romantic, I'm just sad they had to hurry up a bit with the story in the end, I wish they could have made it more detailed, but it was a good one anyway.
