Our wish came true
"Where your eyes linger" has instantly become my favorite BL drama as soon as I've finished it. Yes, you have read it right and I'll try to remain calm while I write my review I promise :)The story is honestly good, it starts light and then goes more and more serious. Their acting is so great, it really looks, sounds authentic and real which is perfect! Their chemistry is such a precious gift for us. I like every single episode, not once I was thinking about dropping it.
The OSTs are all splendid, it is perfect, it fits the drama, it goes so well with the drama and it is such a pleasure to hear those good songs.
The fact it is short also makes the rewatch value high because it makes it easier to rewatch and I'm enjoying re-watching the drama again and again. But I also have to say that the fact it is short is both good and bad at the same time because I would like a season two, or a remake with longer episodes, and others South Korean BL dramas because it's really great and promising :)
As expected from South Korea, this BL drama is very good. For a first BL drama, South Korea has set the bar high, and I'm not exaggerating. It's really promising! This drama literally makes me so happy, it's a pure blessing from heaven so thank you very much to the cast, to the singers, to the producers, to all the people who have worked on it, to the staff, to everyone :')

Short But Filled With Awesome
This was probably the shortest Asian series I’ve ever watched. Definitely the shortest Kdrama - even shorter than Boys’ Archery Club! And because of that, there was little time and space for background info on the leads. I would’ve loved to learn more about Tae Joo’s family, about why his father was so hard on him and what happened to his mom; and also about Kang Gook’s family since we didn’t get any info on them at all; and about how they met too, how they got to live alone together in that luxurious house...But despite that, I did love what we got, given the time restraints. The way music was used to enhance scenes, the inner thoughts etc., this reminded me more of Jdramas than Thai BL dramas. It felt like we were supposed to read between the lines in places, to figure their past ourselves. As a fanfic writer, I love it this way because it allows you to fill in the missing pieces yourself, it gets your brain going, it makes you think.
Also, considering this was one of the very first actual gay Kdramas ever, I have to shower them with kudos for choosing to give the boys their happy ending instead of going all dark and gloomy in the name of art or real life tragedies or whatever. That was a really nice surprise!

The actors acting was really unbelievably good since they don't have much dramas, they even made me cry because they really show the character well I'm impressed with Gi chan(tae joo) I hope he gets more drama because he deserve it!!!

Reason:-
1. The cast is really good. The acting was on spot. Ha gi chan and Jang eui soo made me love them through this. I know a little about acting but this drama made my feel stuffy during some points. It was great to see the chemistry of the actors
2- The plot line is so good that it even felt it was real.
3- The Ost actually defined the drama if you hear carefully. It was so nice that honey was dripping from my ears.
There are so many good points in this drama that I can't even describe properly. So I really recommend people to watch this. It is really wonderful. I am sure if you watch it once you would want to watch it again and again.
Lastly I want to thank you for bearing with me since english is not my first language.

1. The acting is amazing - The 2 MLs have perfect chemistry and deliver so much depth to their character despite not being able to get full background stories due to how short the series is.
2. The story is actually good. I actually enjoyed the story and the way just it was filmed it was aesthetically pleasing and even moments of silence and stillness added to the story.
3. A good ending. I won't spoil what happens but as us BL watchers know Happy endings can be taken from us often but in this one even without knowing what is fully going to happen the ending is satisfying.
I hope for another season of this drama and I hope that future Korean BL can follow in it's footsteps.
I hope that this does really well in Korea itself so we can start a new precedent with BL and FL dramas

The chemistry between the main leads was freakin amazing I was melting every time they even LOOKED at each other. For this to be Han Gi Chan’s first drama!? He SLAYED.
This just shows that when South Korea finally breaks out of their shell, they can create something that is absolutely amazing. I feel bad if this is someone’s first BL because everything after it won’t feel the same. This just sets the standards too high.

I started this drama because its very rare for Koreans to produce a BL series. It's usually kinda awkward, lousy acting. But this one is really good. I was astonished with the acting by leads especially HGC considering its his first acting venture. JES has an attractive aura which will make you want to see him more. Story wise, I feel it was a bit cliche, a bodyguard and master falling in love was no surprise but the way they executed it was amazing. A mediocre story was uplifted with good acting, direction.
The part which surprised me the most was the kiss. I know it's common in BL when the leads kiss, but we need to keep in mind that this was a Korean BL where people have still not accepted LGBTQ community wholeheartedly.
Supporting cast did a pretty descent job. I have no complaints about the length of the drama. I think it was a great idea to keep it short rather than dragging it. Kuddos to the entire team!!
Music played a major role in excelling the drama. In future, if they plan to make a BL, I hope they focus more on real world problems rather than only romance factor between the leads.

When I heard Korea was gonna release their first mainstream BL drama, I was a bit nervous. Nervous mainly for the actors, hoping my babies won't get too much backlash. And I was worried the level of skinship might be discounted. Long story short, I wasn't expecting much. When I started watching this, episode after episode, I was hooked! There's so much emotion in the way they looked at each other, unspoken words, pent up longing and fragile souls. You could feel it all! They didn't need too much skinship at all! Even when they're not touching, you could feel the intensity. That's how good the acting was. When Tae Joo cried, my heart broke to pieces! Young chaebol getting his heart broken for the first time, no no no!
I felt like the music was soothing and on point. I'm just at episode 6 now and so far I haven't seen much romantic skinship. I don't think they'll have it as Korea is not used to the same level of BL we always expect from the Thais and Japanese. But it's still enjoyable nonetheless .

This drama started really lighthearted & easy going but with each episode it's getting intense. The chemistry between the two leads is amazing. Story is really well executed. The way the boys are slowly revealing their love for each other is just adorable. Love the OST! Looking forward to the last two episodes.
