I couldn't hate the main character, as selfish as she was I preferred watching her evil and calculative nature than Sin Hyeon Wu's transformation. I found Yoon Jae Hee annoying and her story too sugary for my taste. Even after it became clear who will win the battle, I continued to support Ah Ran, not trying to find excuses for her behavior but loving her strong and yet vulnerable character. The end was predictable but it was fair to the story.
I don't regret watching the series, but I'm sure I'm not going to see it again. My conclusion : not a bad series but it could've been better.

what i liked about this drama was the brilliance of the story line and how the actors fit the story so perfectly.not a lot of actors can pull off raw emotions on to a drama like they did. its intense and that's what makes this drama so wonderful.
its not some cutesy drama, its real and if you want real acting and an awesome story you should give this one a try.

Story
Very well written very well put together very well presented I could not see any flaws and I would not change a thing with the story I absolutely loved it with its development with its events everything was perfectly done in the best bases. This is the first revenge drama that discusses the consequences of choosing revenge and It's the first revenge drama that approaches revenge in this way a revenge that results in another revenge isn't the idea itself is interesting? One more thing I liked, there are no villains in this drama you won't be able to hate any character there is no "bad person" only people you will feel very sorry for and won't be able to take sides and I find that pretty amazing a story that can confuse me in this way is a beautiful one.
Acting
Lee So Yeon was FLAWLESS, she did one of the best complexed character I've ever seen. I absolutely loved her the best this is by far her best performance!! As for Bae Su Bin this ahjussi always excels as a villain to the point of me hating him so I won't say this is his best performance BUT his best drama indeed. Jin Tae Hyun I never seen this guy before so I'm glad I get to know him here he's an amazing actor. Everyone did good job from main roles to supporting roles everyone did good.
Music
This drama's OST is a story telling itself!! with the lyrics perfectly describing the complex emotions that this drama presents! Specially "Broken Heart" by Yoo Seung Chan I loved the lyrics of this song so much that it inspired me to draw a sketch! best quote from that song"The pain that you caused me I'll pay you all that back,,, even If revenge is a crime doomed by Heavens I'll gladly take my punishment".
Overall
If you are a revenge melo fan you have to have this drama on your complete list! It is a must watch drama not only a worth watching drama a must one. I watched so many dramas too many that I can predict any plot in any drama, but with this one it did have surprises that I could never have predicted it. That fact alone is amazing imho.

Well as you may all know , this is actually the male ver. of Temptation Of Wife (2008) but when It comes to comparing , I like this one much better ! First of all , the story is more SENSIBLE ! I mean , I can never accept that you can get some (or lots of) make up , wear some sexy clothes , change your hairstyle and then go to the people who know you and expect them to believe you're a different person ! (which happened in Temptation Of Wife )
But , YES ! You CAN get some plastic surgery (specially in Korea! lol) , change your identity profile , and then pretend you're a brand new person !
Second , I think the Episodes number in this drama are chosen much better ! It's not like that I hate the dramas with 100 Episodes or more , But I think for this story plot 20 until 30 episodes are ENOUGH !
In other words , in this drama you see less cliche and unecessary scenes !
Characters development is much greater in this drama ! actually you can see a whole new world in each character's mind ! I liked the fact that you can't completely hate the first female role as you get to know about her life and the things she's been through ! No one has been born as a vilian after all !
The acting was great , actually I believe it's the best drama of Bae Su Bin ! As well as Lee So Yeon !
Some say the ending was not good but I say It was bitter but not bad at all ! Actually If the ending was as fantasy as a fairytale , I think it would ruin the whole story ! ( I wanted to explain more about my point but I'm not gonna write any spoiler!!!)
The only thing I can mention about this drama as a negative point , is that I wish I could see more personality features of Shin Hyun Woo in Ahn Jae Sung after his plastic surgery ! Sometimes I felt there wasn't any Shin Hyun Woo from the first . I think it's more the screenwriter's fault than Bae Su Bin's!
OST was really good ! I think there was a song named (Broken Heart) which still is one of my favorites.
I think I'll rewatch it If these new dramas let me , lol !

Despite seeing the ending coming, I still had some hope it would end differently. The drama had potentials to be a good revenge story for the synopsis it had but how everything played out was purely comical. I guess that's what they were aiming for. Во вторых, хронометраж делал происходившее на экране просто пародией, когда все стоят за углом и все слышат, когда пучат глаза в камеру ибо... ибо... когда сюжетные дыры просто закрываются фиговым листочком.
Но актеры то все как на подбор, не звезды пока еще, но уже и не новички. Bae Su Bin отрабатывает свой фирменное щенячее выражение лица.
Lee So Yeon как всегда прекрасна.
