Green Rose (2005)

-Both REVENGE ROMANCE MELODRAMAS, where male lead takes revenge on family (direct family & family-in-law respectively)

- Both have a leading male actor whose acting is AMAZING! (Green Rose: Go Soo. ISILY: So Ji Sub)

-I'm Sorry I Love You is better (10/10!) , so it's better to watch Green Rose first, other way around may feel like a step-down, especially GR male lead's trauma might seem very light in comparison to the trauma of ISILY male lead's.

-ISILY has a more sympathetic/tragic male lead than GR
-ISILY is more romance-focused & the love story MUCH better
-GR is slow-paced, while ISILY has a much better pace/doesn't drag or bore you

They're stories with amazing exciting plot, In both shows the main character is being chased by the Authority for a murder he never committed, with many higher up villains help cover up the truth, so the main character start living a Fugitive life.

Revenge theme...Both have main characters changed identity with a romance remains at the back seat of the story...

Revenge theme. Both contain romance. Green Rose is less thrilling as City Hunter though.

It is both about pretending not to know each other but this time it's the lead man who pretends to not know the girl.

The dramas have the same writer. They involve murder and investigation...

The same a main character's thread and the changed indedity.

Both have main characters who changed identity and came back as a rich guy for revenge, pretending not to know the girls they loved.

It's all revenge, rise after fall. It's about family business and innocent man fall for rich girl.
