Bad Boy

the main characters are both very strong confident player boys who are looking for revenge and are willing to do anything to get it. i found both very exciting and refreshing

Same actor, same story, same vibe. Only the cast is different. Moral of the story: if you're looking for a dark, vengeful plot, always look for Kim Nam Gil.

Both dramas have pretty good story lines. Both dramas are intense romance/ revenge themes. Both dramas have good OSTs.

Both have tragic love stories and endings!

Male lead being manipulators in both. Comparing both Hundred Million Stars From The Sky is much more disturbing rather than just traumatizing. The smile has left your eyes is the official korean remake of the Japanese one which is kinda traumatizing but not that disturbing as the original.

Both are about dudes who toy with womens hearts and end up falling in love themselves. They are both expertly executed productions as well so if you liked one you'd like the other

Both of the main male actors are bad guys. And both have good quality action. As per personal opinion, I consider them geared toward male audiences. If you liked one you'll love the other.

Both are centred around a man out for revenge against rich powerful family.
Male leads are quite similar, smart, strategic and cold blooded.

in both dramas ML uses powerful woman from that family for revenge, slowly seduces her; same time he falls in love to another younger woman who is also related to this family (plans to marry young guy from this family).

A boy is part of a rich family until they abandon him and destroy his life. Later on he comes back to take revenge. He approaches the female members of the family first. Here as well there is this one girl, which was his friend in the past, that tries to stop him from hurting the family and himself

Both dramas are about a man who tries to get revenge for his parents.

While the story is fundamentally quite different. Both main characters have a similar vibe. And both deal with harsh background and revenge.
