This drama had been on hold for me since quite a few weeks. I began watching it because I found the concept and setting interesting but somehow lost the interest in the mid of the first episode itself ( a bad move on my part) and was never able to go back to it again, until 2 days ago. I've marathoned it since and wasn't able to stop watching until I finished watching the finale 2 minutes ago.

The story of the drama in all honesty is nothing new. When you hear the synopsis you already know what's going to happen and how. Despite knowing the end and means, I was able to enjoy the drama thoroughly. The show impressed me with the fact that it didn't revolve around the love story of the leads. I was skeptically waiting for the episode where things would start to become melodramatic and the love story would begin to drag itself through the end, and that episode never came. Till the end, there wasn't a single point where I'd say that the story dragged itself. You learn so much from this show that it's shockingly surprising. It's more than just a comedy drama, you learn about relations, you learn about family and you learn about valuing things that are important in life. You learn to respect time.

The casting seemed a little awkward to me in the first couple of episodes. It was obvious that Lee Bum Soo was a little too older than YoonA to be cast opposite her. But somewhere along the line, I started to like that age gap. It gave more depth to their chemistry and respective stories. YoonA did a really great job in the drama, she seems to have improved a lot. And I think I'm going to watch other dramas and movies Lee Bum Soo has been in as well. The rest of the cast seemed to settle in their roles as he show progressed on, by the end of it, I had zero complains.

Music was acceptable. Complemented the scenes and situations well. Unfortunately none of the songs seemed to strike a chord in my heart and I couldn't find myself liking anything especially. An okay score nonetheless.

Watching this drama again would be something I'd do maybe in a couple of months or an year maybe. The things I learnt from the show are still fresh in my mind so I don't think I'd need to revisit it in the recent future at least. But it's not off the rewatch list.

I've seen dramas that have been brilliant throughout, dramas that began with a bang and ended with a poof, dramas that were great all along UNTIL the finale. This show comes somewhere in between the first and last category. I cannot say the finale was disappointing, neither can I say it was perfect. Although I understand the whole symbolism thing they had going on at the end, but it still felt as if it lacked that warm feeling. A well written finale but it could have been better. I almost feel like I baked a great cake but left out the cherry on top :P

I'd recommend this nevetheless! It's a good drama that's a little underrated, definitely worth giving a chance. It's my guarantee you won't feel as if you're wasting your time by watching it.

Argh!!! I should believed the reviews that the ending could be better, allot better!!! The last episode was like a "romance" of teenagers and not adults. The beginning was soo good and then it did get draggy and it just lost its flavor later on. Just watch another drama, you will just be frustrated that you spent all those hours and only to get to a "not so great ending"... Next time I will be really mindful of the reviews...

In all the "let's pretend to be married" dramas I watched so far. This one had the best intro. The story was well arranged. The kids acted really well. Oh and the other actors where great too. This drama almost cracked it, it had comedy, tragedy, melodrama, politics.even if it lacked passion the two main characters had some great chemistry.
Overall It was great. I loved it

I dont know why I didn't watch this drama last year. I know that many fans especially the fans of the main lead 'Yoona' commented that this couple will not work at all. Why pair Yoona to a middle aged man who is way older than her (23 years). Then I tried watching it since I'm really curious about the story line.

The drama was too funny and awesome. Yoona is actually doing great on this drama especially Lee Beom Soo. I always see him on a action dramas etc. He's actually great! I didn't expect that this couple will work. This drama was too addictive! Even the small skinships of them kills me. This drama is one of my favorites now.

This drama needs a Season 2! Great job for the casts! ?

This drama had so much potential. And it lived up to it for the first 75%. A fun premise, likeable characters (including the cutest kid ever), and interesting relationships. But then a certain something happened, and everything became all about that, instead of about Kwon Yul and Nam Da Jeong's marriage and life as a family. The last couple of episodes seemed incomplete, and we didn't get a satisfying conclusion to any of the storylines. Seriously, the ending is very, very disappointing.

Prime Minister and I was delightful drama starring Lee Beom-soo, Im Yoona, Yoon Shi-yoon, Chae Jung-an and Ryu Jin. The story line was beautifully written it has it's mystery about the Prime Minister's miserable past with this deceased wife who got into a car accident and left him to raise 3 kids on this own while being the Prime Minister of South Korea. The bonus supporting act is Yoon Si-Yoon who plays Kang In-Ho the Prime Minister's right hand man who has this secret grudge and vengeance against him. The two characters come up with a way to have a contract marriage in that fake marriage something real actually blossoms and it's really wonderful story line to watch. I don't want to give away too much of the story line because I want people to watch the entire drama and enjoy it.

I have never seen Lee Beom-soo or Yoona in a drama before this I have to say wow acting is very cute. I don't mind the age gap in this one it was fine for me. I didn't love the ending I was hoping to see a better color to a drama where we wanted to see possibly a real marriage.

Don't watch

1) No kisses
2) Shit acting from the female lead
3) Awful final episode -last-minute attempt to give the female lead any ambition other than serving men.
4) I believed the female lead was dumb in the first episode, which gave me serious second-hand embarrassment.
5) The age gap is weird fuck ngl
6) Had the potential to be super interesting.

I wouldn't recommend watching it if you want your pussy throbbing to a good kiss and your heart clenching in angst. Contract marriage tropes are hard to fuck up; they all end in love, and we love that this ended with no end?????? Yet this one fucked that up lol

The story is interesting. I mean it has some cliffhangers and I have to admit that sometimes I just wanted to watch and watch until finish all the episodes.
But I don't really like the way they put together to the main characters, it looked kind of forced to me.
By the way, The story is funny but also has some sad moments, so its really dramatic.

The characters had a good evolution because at the end of the drama you can clearly notice how much they change.

The actors in this drama are amazing, I really loved the way they portrayed; especially Yoon Shi Yuun because you can really see that he was crying in some sad scenes.

The music is good, I'll say that its average.

Would I watch it again? Maybe! But you can be sure that this one is not in my favorites dramas' list. I could even recommend others with similar topics.

Went for a sound of Music feel, until it didn't.

Prime Minister and I

I went into this drama not expecting much, but the first few episodes really drew me in. I don't particularly like Ahjussi-romance, but this drama had a bit of Sound of Music feel to it that piqued my interest for a minute.

This drama started off in a lighthearted and refreshing way. Here you have a quirky and bright young woman coming into a family that is seemingly drifting apart and manages to change the whole mood with her laid-back personality. Honestly, the trope of having an outsider coming in and changing up your routine was really well done. Their interactions were natural and there was a good balance between comedy and drama that made me care for the characters and their issues.

Unfortunately, in my opinion, the plot really took a turn for the worse. All the interesting questions that this drama posed were set aside for some badly concocted drama, that suddenly made the story seem unnecessarily angsty. Overall it is an OK watch if not for the last few episodes.

This drama really was only average at best. It wasn't necessarily bad, it was just entirely too predictable and by the book. The whole time I was watching (especially towards the end) I couldn't help thinking that the script writer must of read "A Guide to Writing Contract Marriage Dramas" or something before penning this story.

There were very few surprises and hardly an ounce of originality to be found. If you've never seen any other dramas from a similar genre I imagine you can probably enjoy this one to its full extent. However, for the rest of us who have seen similar characters with similar problems going through similar angst...it's a bit of a pain to watch.

I think the only reason I made it to the end is because it's been a while since I watched a light easy-going romantic comedy (which does, unfortunately, loose most of its "lighthearted-ness" towards the end) and I found myself hoping it would surpass my expectations (it did not).

Anyway, no harm, no foul. It's worth a watch if your in the mood...just don't expect great things.

The series combined comedy with cheesy romance, I thought that the series was interesting at the beginning and end but boring in the middle. Comedy dominated the most at the beginning and middle while the series gets more serious and exciting as you continue watching. Although I watched the last episodes excitedly, I didn't like the inconsistency of how the show progressed.
