Wonder Girls' Ahn So Hee might be part of the anticipated drama "Thirty-Nine"
According to Joy News 24 on May 25, Ahn So Hee will join the upcoming JTBC drama "Thirty-Nine." Son Ye Jin and Jeon Mi Do also received the offer to star in the drama and they are positively considering it.
"Thirty-Nine" will be directed by Kim Sang Ho ("Run On" and "Age of Youth 2") and the script will be written by Yoo Young Ah ("Kim Ji Young: Born 1982," "Encounter," "My Annoying Brother," and more). It will be produced by Lotte Culture Works and will air on JTBC.
The drama will showcase the lives and romance of the three friends who are about to turn 40 years old. Son Ye Jin received the offer to play the role of Cha Mi Jo. She came from a wealthy family and she's now the head dermatologist of a clinic in Gangnam. Jeon Mi Do got the offer to play the role of a 39-year-old acting teacher named Jeong Chan Young. Ahn So Hee's character hasn't been revealed yet.
"Thirty-Nine" will have 12 episodes and it will begin its production in the second half of the year.
Ahn So Hee last appeared in the 2020 drama "Missing: The Other Side" with Go Soo, Heo Joon Ho, and more. She will return to the second installment of the drama "Missing: The Other Side 2." She was also part of dramas such as "Eulachacha Waikiki 2", "Entourage," and "Heart to Heart."
She will also be part of the cast of the upcoming movie "Vestige" with Kang Jin Ah, Kwak Min Gyoo, and Kim Geum Soon.
