Chun Woo Hee will reportedly be the female lead of Jang Ki Yong in the upcoming K-drama Although I Am Not a Hero.

On February 27, media outlet StarNews revealed that Chun Woo Hee has been picked as the female lead of the upcoming fantasy romance K-drama Although I Am Not a Hero. Earlier this month, Jang Ki Yong also receive the offer to star in the series. 

Chun Woo Hee's side responded to the circulating reports. According to H& Entertainment, Although I Am Not a Hero is one of the works that was offered to Chun Woo Hee. Nothing has been decided yet. 

Chun Woo Hee will be active in both the drama and film industries. Just this month, she starred in the  Netflix original film Unlocked with ZE: A's Yim Si Wan, Kim Hee Won, Kim Ye Won, Park Ho San, and Jeon Jin Oh. The movie was highly praised by local and international viewers. It also ranked high on Netflix in several countries. 

After the movie, Chun Woo Hee will be seen in the upcoming webtoon-based K-drama  Money Game with Ryu Joon Yeol, Park Jung Min, Park Hae Joon, Bae Sung Woo, and Moon Jung Hee

Aside fromAlthough I Am Not a Hero, Chun Woo Hee is also in discussion to lead the upcoming tvN K-drama Beneficial Fraud with  Kim Dong Wook.

Although I Am Not a Hero will revolve around a man who will save a woman's life even after he lost his superpower. It will tell the story of a family with superpowers. The family will lose this ability because of modern diseases. Although they don't have the ability anymore, one of them still got the chance to save a woman's life.

According to reports, Chun Woo Hee will play the role of Do Da Hae, the woman that will be saved by the man who lost his superpowers. 

The upcoming K-drama will be directed by Jo Hyun Taek (Snowdrop and SKY Castle) and written by Joo Hwa Mi (Introverted Boss).

There are no official details yet on the release of the upcoming K-drama.
