Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Director Shin Won Ho's team will reportedly begin filming this year for their upcoming new K-drama.
On July 13th, various media outlets shared that director Shin Won Ho who's known for creating the hit K-dramas Prison Playbook, Reply 1988, Reply 1994, Reply 1997, and Hospital Playlist will officially start filming their new series this coming October. It was also reported that the new K-drama is set to premiere in March 2024.
For the upcoming K-drama, actress Go Youn Jung got the offer to be the main lead.
The upcoming K-drama will be directed by Drama Special Season 13: Stain director, Lee Min Soo. Director Shin Won Ho will be working as a creator of the series.
With all the circulating reports, tvN the broadcast channel of the upcoming K-drama shared their side. According to tvN, there is still no official confirmation on the release date of director Shin Won Ho's new K-drama. They are still in the discussion stages as well as the casting of Go Youn Jung. The broadcast channel reiterated that nothing has been confirmed yet.
Go Youn Jung is said to have auditioned for the main character of the upcoming K-drama.
Meanwhile, there are no other official details revealed yet for the upcoming K-drama except for director Shin Won Ho and Lee Min Soo working together.
Before Go Youn Jung becomes the muse of director Shin Won Ho's new K-drama, the actress will first join the soon-to-air Disney+ original K-drama Moving with Ryu Seung Ryong, Han Hyo Joo, Zo In Sung, Cha Tae Hyun, Ryu Seung Beom, and Kim Sung Kyun.
Go Youn Jung is also leading the upcoming series Death's Game together with Seo In Guk, Park So Dam, Kim Ji Hoon, Kim Jae Wook, Lee Do Hyun, and more.
The actress made her acting debut in 2019 and she is known for being part of the K-dramas He Is Psychometric, Sweet Home, Law School, Alchemy of Souls Season 2: Light and Shadow, and more.
