The global OTT platform Disney+ has unveiled its 2023 K-drama lineup. 

First up, we have Big Bet Season 2, already released on February 15, casting Choi Min ShikSon Seok Koo, and Lee Dong Hwi in the lead roles. Season 1, with eight episodes, was released on December 21, 2022, and it quickly gained wide popularity among the international audience. 


The highly-anticipated Family: The Unbreakable Bond  will be available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar after April 17th, 2023. It casts Jang Hyuk, Jang Na Ra, Chae Jung An, and Kim Nam Hee, among others.  The K-drama tells the story of a married couple Kwon Do Hoon and Kang Yoo Ra. Kwon Do Hoon is an undercover agent working for NIS (National Intelligence Service) equipped with precise and advanced marksmanship. The fact about his secret job is kept confidential from his wife. Yoo Ra believes her husband is an ordinary office worker at a trading company. Dreaming of having a perfect family, Yoo Ra married Do Hoon and leads a humble life as a housewife. But she hides a secret that only she knows about.

  


 Dr. Romatic Season 3, whose extensive cast includes Han Seok Kyu, Lee Sung Kyung, and Ahn Hyo Seop, among others will also be available on the OTT platform.  


Then, the business drama Race is coming up on May 10. The show casts Lee Yun HeeHong Jong HyunMoon So Ri, and U-KnowRace is a melodrama whose premise is based on the office dynamics between co-workers. 


Next, we have the action-fantasy thriller Moving, starring Ryu Seung RyongHan Hyo JooZo In SungLee Jung HaGo Youn Jung, and Kim Do Hoon in the lead roles. The K-drama's exact release hasn't been confirmed. But it is expected to release sometime in August. Moving tells the story of Kim Bong Seok (Lee Jung Ha), Jang Hee Soo (Go Youn Jung) and Lee Kang Hoon (Kim Do Hoon) - high school students with special abilities. Their parents struggle to protect their children from being exploited while trying to hide their powers. 


Then, Shadow Detective Season 2 is gearing up for release in July. Season 1 was released on October 26, 2022. Lee Sung MinJin GooKyung Soo Jin, and Lee Hak Joo will reprise their roles. And, we have an addition of Jung Jin Young and  Kim Shin Rok to the K-drama's cast.


The mystery thriller Han River will also be released this year. The K-drama will be led by Kwon Sang WooKim Hee WonLee Sang YiBae Da Bin, and Shin Hyun SeungHan River tells the story of a group of officers, who patrol Seoul’s Han River, and the incidents they encounter while on duty. 


Disney+ will also stream The Devil (Kim Tae Ri). The Devil revolves around Ku San Young - a young woman who works part-time jobs during the day to earn her livelihood and studies during the night to seek a job as a public officer. One day, she gets her hands on some articles left behind by her father, and since then, she encounters mysterious experiences and deaths and finds herself gradually changing.  Apart from Kim Tae Ri, The Devil also casts Oh Jung Se and Hong Kyung in the leading roles.


The Worst of Evil, starring Ji Chang WookWi Ha Joonand Im Se Mi, is also on the lineup list. Park Joon Mo (Ji Chang Wook) and Yoo Eui Jung (Im Se Mi) are police officers and husband and wife. And Wi Ha Joon is a boss of a criminal organization named Jung Ki Chul. 


And for the last K-drama on this list, we have the psychological crime thriller Vigilante, led by Nam Joo HyukYoo Ji Tae,  Kim So Jin, and Lee Joon HyukVigilante tells the story of an aspiring police officer Kim Ji Yong (Nam Joo Hyuk), whose mother was killed by a local gangster when he was young. He turns into a vigilante and goes on a killing spree.
