Kim Joon Han receives offer to star alongside Park Jung Min and BLACKPINK's Kim Ji Soo in "Influenz

Kim Joon Han will reportedly return to Coupang Play in another original K-drama!

According to media outlets on November 3, Kim Joon Han has been cast in the upcoming Coupang Play K-drama Influenza.

Kim Joon Han's agency then responded to the casting reports. Artist Company shared, "Kim Joon Han is positively reviewing the offer to join the upcoming K-drama Influenza."

The upcoming K-drama Influenza will reportedly be led by Park Jung Min and BLACKPINK's Kim Ji Soo. 

Influenza will depict its story from the novel of the same name by Han Sang Woon. It will reveal the journey of soldier Jae Yoon and his girlfriend Young Joo who had just had their breakup and ran toward each other while struggling to escape from a group of zombies against the backdrop of a high-rise air defense unit in Seoul. 

Park Jung Min got the offer to play the role of Jae Yoon while Kim Ji Soo will portray as the girlfriend. Meanwhile, Kim Joon Han received the offer to play the role of Ra In Ho, a colleague of Hae Yoon who gives ideas on how to survive the zombie outbreak.

According to reports, the Coupang Play original K-drama Influenza will have a total of 9 episodes. There is no official confirmation yet on the release date of the upcoming thriller romance K-drama. 

Influenza will be the next work of directors Yoon Sung Hyun (Time to Hunt and Bleak Night) and Han Jin Won (Parasite, Take Point, and Okja).

Kim Joon Han recently starred in the film A Man of Reason with Jung Woo Sung, Kim Nam Gil, Park Sung Woong, Park You Na, and Lee Elijah. 

He will also join the cast of the upcoming K-drama When the Day Breaks with Han Seok Kyu, Jung Yu Mi, Yeom Hye Ran, Ryu Hye Young, and Lee Hee Joon. 

Kim Joon Han made his debut on the streaming platform Coupang Play through the 2022 K-drama Anna.
