Ah, I return with part 2! Below are some refresher terms from the last article on how I categorise my horror movies. Firstly, there is the 'Serious horror' category, where the movies are purely intended to be scary.
Secondly, there is the 'Comedic horror' category, where even though there are ghosts running around, you'll be laughing more than jumping off of your sofa. Then, there is the 'Narrative horror' category which puts a lot of importance on the story-line and/or moral values.
And finally, there is the 'Trash horror' category, that just has jump-scares on jump-scares but a shallow plot-line, if any. This recommendation list will contain movies that fall in most, if not all, of this list. I hope you enjoy it!

35 years ago, a random act of violence was committed at a tourist hotel. A college professor, possessed by madness, went on a killing spree, slaughtering 11 hotel guests and employees. While recording his acts of violence on an 8mm camcorder, he slashed one victim after another, as they ran for their lives...35 years later a director called Matsumura (Shiina Kippei) wants to turn this crime story into a movie. Titled "Memory", he casts a young woman, Nagisa (Yuka),  to his project. But as their shoot date closes in, Nagisa begins to have creepy dreams and hallucinations. Isn't the incident from the past yet over?

An omnibus film of four stories pulled straight from Thailand's most gruesome headlines. In "Flame", a man (Akara) is haunted by regret and a ghost, after he survives a nightclub fire that killed his girlfriend (Kob). In "Revenge", a deaf-mute drug dealer (Gus) murders a woman thief (Due) in his apartment and makes the mistake of stashing her corpse in his apartment building's water duct. Finally, in the comic "Haunting Motel", an ageing stripper-cum-prostitute (Mai), a gay guy and his straight friend (Guy) end up in a hotel owned by a crazy old lady and haunted by a ladykiller.

[this one was honestly a mess, I would not put this on the list, but there are some people out there who want to watch all the parts of a franchise. So, this one's for you.]

Without thinking twice,  a group of students who love to visit haunted places to challenge ghosts gathers their gang for another trial to explore the haunted Daeng building, which is a popular place for student suicide. The group decides to explore the place and challenge the supernatural beings there to "make them shudder", which leads to a chain of unforgettable and horrifying events.

After the challenge at restricted school area (in Make Me Shudder), Nick (Nick), Bew (Kittipat), James (Puwadon) and his friends are now preparing for their university admission. Due to their lack of study, James brought his friends to have a blessing from Mae Nak Shrine. Nick did not believe in Mae Nak. He then insulted Mae Nak in front of his friends as always. Suddenly, a paranormal event brought the student gang back in time. They found themselves in Mae Nak's realm. The student gang decided to seek for any clue that would bring them back to their home.

A group of friends go on a vacation in Phuket after their high school graduation. They build their tents next to the beach but unfortunately for them, a huge storm forces them to move indoors into a nearby hotel. They decide to sleep at the hotel for the night. However, they are all woken up by the same horrible dream of a Tsunami disaster. A gruesome sight greets them as they open their eyes; the hotel is filled with wrapped dead bodies. They crawl through the dead bodies hoping to escape from the hotel.

[please let it be known that I only rated it 6.5 and not 7.5 because I was bitter that Krit and Ray died in the end.]

This "project" would be a one night adventure to one of the top 5 most haunted hotels in ASEAN.
