The one sister is estranged from the family. She works as a flight attendant I believe. Shes going after the male lead but the male lead is going after another woman. He doesn't know they are sisters till the fist sister threatens suicide over the man. One sister dies in a landslide and the male lead travels the world and the remaining sister reconnects with the father.

This was the side story/couple of the Chinese drama Across the Ocean to See You. 

The flight attendant younger sister is the exGF of the ML. While the guy in this plot is the doctor best friend of the ML who is from a rich family. I  shipped this guy to end up with the kind jewelry designer older sister, who also becomes good friends with the FL.
