how many episodes do you give a drama?

i dropped greatest love after 5 minutes. just started watching Smile You, 2 Episodes in, and cant imagine it being awesome enough to get a 16 episode extension. contemplating when to drop...

Or sometimes a drama is decent and the nI get bored by half so I normally drop them like at episode 10

it depends i guess on when i feel like i can't take it anymore for the particular drama. i consulted my list on avg it seems to be around epi 4-6 but i have dropped or put on hold several dramas after 1 episode. i dropped movies too, half way into them.

Hmmm Usually just stick it out. The only time I have dropped a drama while actually watching it was about 16 episodes in lol

it depends... which ep is killing me from... if it's started at first ep, then i guess 4ep is more than enough...

i usually try out the 1 episode and if i like then i keep watching and if i don't like it i wait a week or so then watch episode 2 and see how it goes from there. there aren't many times i drop things.

It depends on whether its highly recommended. But generally 0. If im not liking a drama i'll put it on hold. Im very fickle though.

it pains me to drop a drama...i'm just that emotional what can i say?! loool...although i have dropped a few after the first 1st ep, one after the 4th and one after the 8th...and i'll prolly drop one more..it's been on my hold for almost 5 months now, have already seen like 10 eps. of it so i'm kind of apprehensive...but lis-ssi has been pestering me to drop it ever since i started watching it loool

it varies with me sometimes after the first episode sometimes later ....i do have a couple of dramas (Sungkyunwan Scandal & Secret Garden) that i have only few eps left to finish so i will finish those at some point otherwise all those hours i invested in them will be wasted :p

It's really rare for me to drop dramas, but if I drop it, there's no going back. I drop around the later episodes, though. If it's just that painful to keep watching, I'll drop it forever. LOL. Most just to to the On Hold pile, though.

I know, I know - it's not bad, but it's lacking plot development after episode five or six. I will also finish it and I won't be in pain
(might be playing something alongside, though) I guess, rofl.

I was just having a look on my list and there is one drama I simply couldn't continue watching: Love Keeps Going - I watched 9/13, but I couldn't stand the two leads kissing. It just made me shudder, brrr.

Well, I feel sort of responsible. I recommended it because it was actually interesting in the beginning....lol

You know how quick I am to drop dramas and it's not just one I dropped at 10-15 minutes....I can think of at least three right now...lol

generally after the third episode I can tell if I am gonna like it, or if I should finish it, there are some exceptions.. but if after the third I still can't get into it it goes bye bye.. there are some that I dropped that I actually got pretty far in, but I just got so sick and tired of it I had to drop it (Love Buffet)
