Guilty pleasures and just as guilty dislikes

It's not an age factor though. Give me a Takeshi Kaneshiro (39), a Tony Leung (50), a Takenouchi Yutaka (41) every day and I'm a happy woman. I just don't like the man, I would say it's a skin factor if it weren't for the obvious fact that I never smelled or touched him, LOL.

another guilty pleasure: Johnny's, yes I like them I know them all except the new generation (with the execption of Matsujun and Yuya Tegoshi)

Guilty Displeasure: Koo Hye Sun--why do all lot of people like her? I can't get through BOF because of her. I watched Absolute Boyfriend only because Jiro Wang was in it, and if it wasn't for him and Xie Kun Da, I would have dropped that after episode 1 due to her sheer inability to act. Guilty Pleasure: Gokusen. It's probably the one drama that has me searching youtube for clips every single day. It's where I was introduced to Kamenashi and Akanishi, and a host of other lovelies. More than that, I've always felt moved by Yankumi's speeches, as silly as they might be sometimes. Often I found myself thinking of situations where I could use her advice and keep pushing on toward my goals.

we're two, I love Gokusen I think I've seen at least 4 times every season plus re-watching my fav ep ^^

I too consider Gokusen a classic, and I enjoyed it immensely, despite its having a repetitive scheme throughout the 3 seasons and specials.
It's not even particularly well acted - except for Nakama Yukie, she's brilliant in every role I've seen her in - but there's a charm about this drama that is, in my opinion, timeless. I have rewatched it a few times and I am going to do so again for sure.
So I guess it fits perfectly into the guilty pleasures category. :D

Cha Seung Won. He's the main reason why I dropped The Greatest Love without regrets, why I never went past ep. 1 of The City Hall (with lots of regrets since I love Kim Sun A), why I will never watch Athena, the reason why I kindly beg you all to refrain from posting pictures of him here just to prove me wrong.

Ah finally someone who sees this guy the same way I do. I couldn't finish The Greatest Love because of him and Hyo Jin. I don't find him attractive at all. That facial hair especially... it has got to go.

Another guilty displeasure: Gong Yoo... I can't see what is so attractive about him. Don't get me wrong I loved Coffee Prince, I just didn't like him. He's also the reason why I'm holding off on Big right now. He's a good actor but I'm a bit vain, and looks are kinda important to me so I can't get past his looks. My Korean friend absolutely loves him, but I'm like mehhhh.

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one that totally dislikes Koo Hye Sun. I watched BOF, but dropped the Musical and haven't watched Absolute Boyfriend because of her.

oh I found another guilty displeasure : Jeong Young Hwa, don't get me wrong: I love CNBlue and I love his voice but, please don't play in a drama anymore, I'm begging you. Watching you in YAB and Heartstrings was a torture. In every single scene I was like: can't you show any emotions, you're supposed to be upset or whatever, why are you looking like you're sick of everything *ugh*

oooh so true! When I saw him in YAB I was really amazed: how can a person act so bad? Really, I think they should give him an award or something because his acting skills just majorly suck.

We all have such varying tastes! I love it when someone agrees with my pleasures/displeasures and let out a little 'grrrrr' when someone disagrees. My guilty displeasure is giving the stink eye to those who disagree with me! But in the most loving and friendly way! I promise! LOL I love this thread. We are all free to voice our opinions...no recriminations. ;)
