Another year of dramas is ending soon. 2012 was full of amazing dramas but there were some bad dramas too.
We were able to watch some actors abilities and some amazing storylines.
Let's not forget that the fisrt and the second place in MDL's top dramas were snatched away by two 2012 dramas.

4) Worst acting? Hmmm all actors from dream High 2 since they're not real actors

There are still some really great dramas running right now, but I only chose from ones that have completed already.

1) How many dramas did you watch this year? 94, not including what I'm watching now (25 of them actually came out in 2012)
2) What's your favorite drama of the year? Queen In Hyun's Man
3) What's your favorite romantic comedy? If Queen In Hyun's Man could be called romcom, it would be that. But I cried too much to call that comedy, so I'd say Gentleman's Dignity.
4) What's your favorite Adventure drama? I don't know what qualifies here but I guess I'll say King 2 Hearts.
5) What's your favorite melodrama? Not really a melo fan, but I liked Nice Guy a lot.
6) What's your favorite Action drama? I don't know what qualifies here either but I guess I'll say King 2 Hearts again.
7) What's your favorite historical drama? Arang & The Magistrate (even though it is fusion)

First of all, I’m only watching J-dramas( they are those who fit my taste the most), so there will be only Japanese references here.

2) Who's your favorite male lead? Enomoto Kei (KnkH). I also enjoyed (but less) Komikado Kensuke (Sakai Masato in Legal High) and Aiba Masaki’s character in Mikeneko Holmes no Suiri (but I haven’t finished the drama yet cause there is no more subs…)
3) Who's your favorite female lead? Aoto (KnkH) and Mutoi Ayami (Akumu-chan)
4) Who's you favorite second male lead? Nitta Teru (Eita) in Lucky seven
5) Who's your favorite second female lead? Maybe Ihara Haruka (Maeda Atsuko) in Ending Planner and Naka Riisa’s character in Lucky Seven
6) Who's your favorite supporting role? Asahi Junpei (Oizumi Yo in Lucky Seven)
7) Who's your favorite evil character? SPOILER Enomoto Kei


1) Best couple (chemistry)? There were not couples, but Aoto and Enomoto in KnkH (I was really fond of their chemistry, the best part of the drama imo) and Komikado and Mayuzumi in Legal High
2) Best Bromance? Lucky seven ??
3) Best OST? KAGI NO KAKATTA HEYA (Arai Ken’s OST as well as the ending song from Arashi)
4) Best storyline? Saikou no Jinsei no Owarikata – Ending Planner. I cannot say that the dramas I’ve seen this year had very original storyline. Ending planner was maybe the most original of those. Of course I also adore Kagi no kakatta Heya, but the drama was sometimes too repetitive.
5) Best impression? KAGI NO KAKATTA HEYA
6) Actor who shows best acting skills? Though I was fascinated by Ohno’s way of portraying his character (KnkH), I’d say that Nakai Masahiro was amazing in Ataru, and just a step below, Sakai Masato in Legal High
7) best surprise? Akumu-chan, ‘cause I didn’t expect it to become so good after watching the first episode.


1) Worst drama? Monsters, not because it was not good, but it was only average, and his biggest problem is that he came after pretty good Japanese mystery dramas this year (Ataru, Lucky Seven, Mikeneko Holmes no suiri, Kagi no kakatta Heya, Legal high…). His other problem is that it was too much expected!
2) Worst storyline? none
3) Worst ending? KAGI NO KAKATTA HEYA (in fact the ending was pretty good, but it was SOOOOOO frustrating!!! )
4) Worst acting? Maybe the whole cast of Shiritsu Bakaleya Koukou… (I have seen only one episode though, then dropped it)
I have to say that my favorite’s actor performance in Monsters was not as good as we can expect from him (Yamashita Tomohisa)
5) Worst impression? Monsters (what a disappointment with such great actors on board).
6) Worst character? None.

Did I say I really really really enjoyed Kagi no kakatta Heya? !!! Though I’ve seen Maou and Nankyoku Tairiku this year, which I rated 10 both, my favorite of the year was definitely the previous one. Maybe, that was just the right time for me to watch it. But the main lead character really touched me (maybe because I sometimes understand the way he feels), and like I said before the chemistry between the two leads was excellent. I like stories where people very different in their way of life (but not only because of a difference of status or income) , characters and interest have to interact.
