Drama's you can't stand/avoid/think are overrated

Dramas I can't stand at all:

• K-POP The Ultimate Audition

Dramas I think are overated:

• You Are Beautiful
• The Heirs
• Boys Over Flowers
• Rooftop Prince
• Uncontrollably Fond
• Doctors
• Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo

Dramas I avoid: 

• Goblin
• Descendants of the Sun 
• The Bride of Habaek

I’ll keep this short and simple for the sake of the people reading (I can get very lengthy with description) 

I think most of the Korean dramas are overrated. There are some that I too enjoy... but the rest seem to be too overhyped and overrated on MDL for no particular reason except the actors or actresses starring in the the show. 

I like how I am mostly seeing Korean dramas in folks’ lists. Good to know people dislike some dramas I dislike as well.

I totally agree, that's why I think I'm always disappointed once I begin a drama, sense people tend to overhype them,  my expectations are probably at a point that can't be reached. I think if dramas like DOTS, or Healer weren't so overhyped, I would've enjoyed them a lot more then I did.

Agree with this, since it applies to most of the commonly hyped dramas I see failing to live up to my expectations. Though personally, Healer was a weird exception for me - I was very reluctant to watch it initially due to being put off by the hype, but eventually did and formed my own opinion on it/found my own enjoyment with it long after the initial release.

Gobiln feels very overrated. It had very little semblance of romance between the two leads and felt like Twilight in terms of characterization. As much as I am a fan of fantasy, it was eerily disappointing to watch and very skip-able. At times it felt like a comedy being taken seriously.

In Gender Benders, the acting and antics tend to be over the top and the leads do not even resemble the opposite gender aside from a terrible shorter haircut and some loose fitting clothes, while keeping the makeup, making for a very unbelievable experience throughout. The ones that depart from this are worth watching though.

Dramas I think are overrated:

• Fight My Way

Dramas I disliked:

• Any school drama especially korean school dramas (they usually always contain death or bullying)
• Weightlifting Fairy
• Goblin
• Boys Over Flowers
• The Heirs
• Full House

Dramas I avoid:

• Again any school drama because of the death and bullying thing ex: School 2015
• Mean leads who literally have no reason to be mean/vile/unprofessional (in the workplace) ex: She Was Pretty, Secret Garden
• Nosy/clingy/childish/petty leads ex: Imaginery Cat, My Shy Boss, My Crossing Hero
• Dramas with way too many episodes (I get bored very easily)
• Any historical drama because they always end up miserable or too many deaths (minus My Only Love Song)
• Any drama which super psycho-bitchy exes/crushes ex: girls who would literally try to drown you knowing that you can’t freaking swim 
• Any dramas with shouters/whingers/screechers/horrendous criers
• Any dramas where there’s no chemistry or the storyline keeps going round in circles
• Any drama with no sense of reality - where they’ve just met a complete random stranger who happened to save their life but that’s certainly no reason to bring them to your freaking house
• Dramas where they show screaming/yelling/cursing in the workplace and everyone does nothing but stare
• Dramas where they show someone literally assaulting someone usually wife beating the hubby or employer beating their employee and again nobody does or says anything but stare and the writers try to write it off as “comedy”. I usually fast forward these but if it gets too much I drop the drama ex: Revolutionary Love
• Dramas with inevitably sad endings
• Lastly if there are too many “evil” characters - I get there has to be villains but when it’s the dad, mum, so called fiancé, second lead fake friend, grandpa and grandma its all just too much for me to bear
